6.0 Good
Pros: It was utilistic. We wanted basic accommodation at a cheap price and that is exactly what we got. We are satisfied with the choice.
Cons: The furniture was tatty.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The full building shake when somone use the loft it looks like the building will collapse
Cons: Old lift, old building old and low quality furniture
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Ideally located just off of the Autostrada. It was very clean & the staff were friendly & helpful.
Cons: The building is a little ‘dated’ but that could be fixed easily just with some new paint on the exterior maybe.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Old
4.2 Okay
Pros: It’s located right at the highway exit
Cons: It wasn’t clean as expected and the bed was really uncomfortable. Bathroom shower completely broken
7.1 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and the hotel is located close to the big outlet mall in Florence which is convenient if you want to do a lot of shopping.
Cons: The employees do not communicate properly with each other. When we checked in, the employee who handled our check in said he won’t charge us the city tax for the second day as an accommodation. However when we checked out (it was another employee) we were told to pay the city tax. We explained to that employee that we were told we won’t have to pay it for the second day and she argued with us instead of calling the other employee and confirming with him. After some arguing she finally understood and didn’t charge us the city tax but it was a waste of time as the employees should have already communicated this to each other. Also, the breakfast could be much better. There is not much selection and variety of foods.

Pros: Breakfast room was located separately from the main dining room, was light and airy with beautiful views. Coffee from the machine was excellent and food selection extensive.
Cons: The only thing I could fault was the fresh fruit selection was a bit limited.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent & the setting fab
Cons: It is very remote & taxis are scares & expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was my second booking as decided to stop and stay on the return part of my itinerary. Staff are exceptionally helpful and even ensured I could print my airport boarding passes after our original flights were delayed due to flight cancellations. Great breakfast served in the most beautiful of settings over looking the surrounding Tuscan hillside, a buffet style well stocked breakfast, again with very helpful and friendly breakfast staff. There is an outdoor pool at the property that looks like it would be simply wonderful in the summer season however as we were there in winter months it obviously was not in use. I was arriving late and Christina who I called to confirm my booking had arranged an upgrade to the apartment we had previously used and it was lovely to arrive to them having put the lamps on and ensured place was lovely warm and welcoming.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We were there to attend a wedding reception. The food and service at the wedding reception was exceptionally good. The place itself is very relaxing, peaceful and scenic with lovely pool areas. It was a three hour drive from the airport (Bologna) which was double the time we expected to spend travelling. Our apartment was very comfortable and spacious. We had the option of using the air conditioning.
Cons: Breakfast offered a good variety, however, there was no fresh fruit on offer when we were there, which was disappointing. We did have to ask daily for the usual toiletries which is inconvenient. There should be an ample supply or replenished daily if not.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: One of the greatest assets of this property is its location in the hills above Arno valley, about 30 km east of Florence. While resting in the extensive gardens, you can rejoice in a 360° breathtaking view of lush wine and olive yards. There is literally no car traffic, which is great for children, no engine noise, or exhaust fumes, for that matter, and only the birds' chirping can be heard. Have a good look at web site's pictures. Be careful when planing your trip, San Donato in Franzano is difficult to find and guests regularly lose their way even with a navigation system. Our room was located in the "new" building to the west, at the "new" pool. The room was large enough for the two of us. We came prepared with our own water heater for coffee. Airco is available at an additional charge of € 3,- per day. During the last week of the "low season", our stay was moderately priced. Not all rooms were occupied, and so the premises were not crowded at all. The ladies at the reception were very accommodating for all our wishes and generally very helpful. I also had the opportunity to recharge my electric car in the parking lot over night. There are three pcs. 230 V 50 Hz "Schuko" (CEE 7/3) sockets available, albeit fused for only 10 A. This should have been just sufficient to trickle charge my Nissan Leaf, however the fuse tripped at each start-of-charging. I wish I could have manually dialled down my charger a tick. Also, the energy meter seems to have been wrongly connected, as it didn't record anything. Breakfast has often been criticised by others - keeping in mind that in Italy breakfast is generally just a cup of coffee, for me there was ample choice. We had booked evening meals at the restaurant, and took these outside, on the terrace, watching the sunset over the hills. The highlight however was the Thursday buffet, accompanied by a live singer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely helpful from booking until we left. We were a very late night/early hours of the morning check in and staff fully accommodated this. This was very helpful especially as we were in Reggello for an unexpected family funeral. We also had to add an extra night and Roberto ensured this went smoothly for us and allowed us to keep the same apartment, number 5. Breakfast was really appreciated and there was a great range of continental, sweet and savoury items and drinks. However although the setting is beautiful it is very much out of the way and apart from the restaurant being open in the mornings only for breakfast there are no other facilities for food drinks or snacks outwith that time. The inclusion of a kettle in the apartments would also improve the guest experience.
Cons: The lack of a kettle and lack of any facility to obtain food snacks or drinks outwith breakfast time. Staff are fabulous though and very helpful.

Pros: What a pleasant surprise! I've stayed at over ten small inns and B&Bs in the area and this was by far the most exceptional and warmest service I've ever had. This will be my go to spot whenever I'm back in the area.

Pros: A very beautiful place. When you arrive you're warmly welcomed by Lorenzo and Giovanna. From our room with balcony we had a great view over Reggelo. Giovanna and Lorenzo really do everything for their guests with a lot of love and attention. You can taste that in the best home made italian dinner we ever had. There is a nice garden where Lorenzo gets all the tasty vegetables and herbs for the great dinners. Every morning a delicious breakfast is ready and you will be welcomed by Lorenzo. Giovanni is the coffee queen and provides a traditional Italian cup of coffee. Lorenzo gives you good tips for where to go and where to park. When you come back after a day out you jump into the nice refreshing swimming pool and enjoy the tranquility. Reggelo is a 5-minute walk away and it is a nice village with restaurants, coffee bar and gelaterie. It feels like home with very good friends. We will definitely come back here again!!

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: !!! I DON'T RECOMMEND. I booked a room with breakfast. The room was dirty, a unclean smell is in the room, the staff was not at all friendly. Every morning at breakfast I couldN'T eat anything, they only had croissants and ham, other people were eating omelette and we requested them to receive omelette but they told us is not possible but without any reasons why for others is possible. I took a slice of ham and I signaled that it was no longer food, their answer was "that they no longer have food" and have received injuries, I have never experienced such a thing, to receive injuries by personal. IT'S A MISERY !

Pros: We stayed 2 nights. Adorable place. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower is a bit small but I managed just fine. Good hot water. Its located perfectly for exploring Tuscany, which we did. The owners, Luigi and Loraina were wonderful. They don't speak English but we had no problems. They also have a restaurant that serves delicious food. I had a filet and a grilled pork chop that was just perfect. The entrance drive is very steep but, we did fine with it. Will definitely stay again. Loved this place and the staff!!
Cons: Breakfast was mostly sweet, I would have liked something a bit more savory, but, it was good and fresh. We were the only 2 people staying that weekend so we fully understood. Coffee is great.
