Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The ambience of the old world charm (including ironed linen sheets) matched by the attentiveness of the staff - a blanket on the bed when the temperature dropped.
Cons: It was a pity that when we were shown our room it wasnt pointed out that there was a compehensive information booklet about the hotel supplied in the room containing times for breakfast, lunch and dinner etc. We found it too late.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. The Lady who served breakfast was amazing.
Cons: Nice evening, but chicken first served UNCOOKED
7.5 Good
Pros: Very charming old building, it's almost like time travelling. The staff is very friendly, and the food is quite good. Located close to the highway, very convenient.
Cons: You can hear all the noise from the bar below and the other rooms. It was very cold in the restaurant (December and not heated).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place. Like great small French village hotels of the past. Had excellent supper sitting in courtyard under foliage. A step back in time. Stylish. 'Old school'.
Cons: Breakfast was poor. Coffee (good) but just a piece of bread and supermarket yoghurt.

Hotel La Villa - Requena - Building

8.5 Excellent (619 reviews)
C$ 61+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel La Villa in Requena, you'll be just steps from Cuevas De La Villa and Iglesia del Salvador. Featured amenities include laundry facilities, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and an elevator.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: I arrived at 1.30 am he was kind.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was not included in the room rate, although available at a supplement, and taken in the on site restaurant. The hotel is situated in the centre of the old town in an attractive square, part of a refurbishment project. Free parking is available in the square but finding the building in the very narrow streets took us three attempts! The room was very attractive and peaceful.
Cons: More or less everything was as we have come to expect in our wanderings around the less " touristy" parts of Spain, helpful, cheerful, friendly and welcoming staff.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent location in the Plaza del Albornoz, the main square of the old town, right next door to the entrance to the man-made caves that run underneath the square, and a short walk down to the broad Avenida del Arrabal with its shady, tree-lined pedestrian walkway running down the centre.
Cons: The public bathroom on the ground floor was quite filthy and disgusting. No toilet seat. Floor awash. Toilet rolls all damp. It had obviously not been cleaned since the night before, taking into account that it was major fiestas time in Requena with the annual Wine Fair, a medieval market and fair throughout the old town, and much revelry going on. The morning coffee and breakfast service was extremely slow as the poor waiter was totally on his own and trying to handle guests checking out at the same time owing to another staff member having failed to turn up. He was clearly stressed but trying hard to stay calm and maintain his sense of humour. Not an easy task in the circumstances. I think his name was Alex.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a small hotel on the small central square in the old town. They have a coffee bar attached, but it was closed when we were there so no breakfast available. Rooms have an old traditional feel and are in reasonable condition - they could do with a fridge. Easy free parking in the square. NB Reception doesn’t open until around 9am, which could be an issue if you want to check out early.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice stay, the guy (owner) was adorable. We ate in hotel dona anita: very good. A lot was closed(monday evening!). Requena is very nice, wine is good, loved esp the white! So good inbetween stop!
Cons: The shower was in the bath, quite slippery. But you could hold yourself!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were good the room was lovely and spotlessly clean
Cons: Sadly breakfast was a disaster. There was only one member of staff on duty to cover reception, wait on tables and prepare all the coffees which was ridiculous. The poor chap tried his best but there were too many people to serve and no back up staff to support him.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Kind staff, structure in the the centre of the city. Quiet room. The motorbikes coud be parked in front of the hotel.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent. Welcoming, friendly and efficient. Great beds and comfy room. Location in the historic centre was both picturesque and convenient. Great log fire in the dining room too.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Marvellous lunch.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: Very quiet through the night. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and the owners really helpful. Nice shower. Great little wine tasting opposite side of square.
Cons: I would love to score this higher as the owners were very helpful, and overall a quirky little hotel with a fabulous restaurant. But our bed was so uncomfortable we barely slept. It was hard and yet if you turned over you bounced the other person awake. It was like a tag team. My partner even tried the floor with a blanket at one point. Given other reviews i think we may have been unlucky.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Situated in the centre of the old town it is ideally situated for having a wander round this quaint little town. Unusually for Spain there is ample parking in the central square (plaza mayor) providing you are not too late arriving.
Cons: Considering the age of the building nothing much at all.Not wheelchair friendly which for us doesn`t matter.
