The Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort is a beachfront resort that offers plenty of natural beauty and tranquility for guests. There are a number of golf courses bordering the hotel, as well as the beautiful rainforest and ocean. This 500-acre resort offers 400 different guest rooms and suites, all with WiFi, plush beds and luxury linens, and stunning views of the ocean, rainforest, and surrounding grounds and gardens. There are a number of bars and restaurants on site, as well as multiple pools and private beach access to enjoy the beautiful ocean.

There are many activities for adults and children alike at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort. There are tennis courts, water sports, and even a casino featuring many different games for adults to enjoy. The Mandara Spa offers a full array of spa services and treatments, including couples massages and other romantic packages. The mile-long beach provides plenty of relaxing and fun activities alike, and it is just minutes to nearby attractions and towns.

This hotel is just minutes from the El Yunque Rainforest and is the closest one in Puerto Rico. If you want to get up close and personal with nature, this is the place. Guests can also visit Bioluminescent Bay or hop in the car for a quick ride to Ponce and Old San Juan. Here, there are historical attractions as well as dining, nightlife, and shopping.

Pros (+) The staff were great and the pools were great. The location on the island leaves the beach with a riptide warning daily so swimming in the ocean was a little precarious.
Cons (-) Hidden fees of over $100/day per room. What I felt was an agreed upon price ended up costing me an additional $1200 dollars

Cons (-) Elevator from/ to parking is in very bad conditions - last day was not working and it is a problem to get to the parking with the your luggage- no assist from the hotel

Pros (+) The location is ideal. Ocean front with 3 beautiful pools. The property is expansive, clean and well kept.
Cons (-) Information is lacking regarding pools, restaurants, shuttles and fees. A simple map of the 500 acres wasn't available when I inquired

Pros (+) Is a good hotel if you rent a car to move around It Is very clean and quiet I did not like the gym as I travel solo and needed fhe gym for mornings The gym is super small and located in a ackward room next to the spa.
