The possibility to sleep in a traditional Mongolian yurt, was a treat by itself. This in combination with the proximity to the sea and the calmness of the site, made it an incredible glamping experience. The mentioned amenities were available. The camping site emphasized the closeness to nature with butterflies fluttering around the apple trees. Their was enough space to relax in private.
Unfortunately nature did intrude a bit inside the yurt, so don't startle when you see a cricket or a mosquito inside. Furthermore we might have arrived at an unfortunate moment, because it seemed like someone dumped sea-critters in the nearby brook causing it to smell foul upon arrival, luckily the smell didn't stretch to the camping site.
Out of the way, quaint little Normandy town. Yurts are fun and well appointed (bring sheets if you feel you need them) for a yurt! My 8-year old loved it. Very fun!
It's a campsite to expect to be a bit of a walk from the loo.
It was a fantastic experience, with super friendly staff. The yurt was super cozy and comfortable. There was even an electric heater at our disposal for the coldest nights.
Our yurt was a bit dirty and maybe the oldest but it’s a camping spot after all so who cares.
Unfortunately the property needs to be reviewed by the owners , at minimum cleaned up and some of the monies taken in reinvested back in .. poorly managed - badly presented , in need of a clean up, and updated - to include linen, kitchen, grounds , interior and exterior furniture - what a pity as the location is good - except for the noise from an adjacent business ....
The whole experience was total shock not worth the money would never visit again
