Quiet location, very nice garden and surroundings. Excellent breakfast. The family room is big enough and it even has a fridge.
Weak wifi, to say something, although it is understandable, considering the thickness of the walls.
An oasis of charm and relaxation. If you are nostalgic for the French auberges of yesteryear this is the place for you. Our room was very comfortable and our stay coincided with the menu gourmand which was exquisite. Also super breakfast.

Castel-Hotel is a very quaint old hotel in the middle of a small, rather out of the way, town in a scenic part of France. We only stayed overnight but it looked as though there would have been a lot of things to do in the area, had we stayed longer. We particularly enjoyed the meal in the restaurant. Although we only had the basic 25 euro menu and there was not a wide choice, we found the dishes to be imaginative and tasty.
Extraordinary hotel with original details and a fantastic restaurant. If you're looking for 5-star decadent luxury with breathtaking views then this hotel may not be what you're looking for, but it was a great experience. Great value for money. 17th century building with a lot of history.
Comfortable and spacious. In the centre of town, ideal for the Comboros folk Festival in August. Plenty to eat and a good choice at self-service breakfast.
We did not enjoy the hotel dinner. (Recommend the Cafe Central instead.)
