10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our third visit to this hotel. I booked a superior room this time for £5 more. The room was basically the same, but more modern with laminate floor, and a better shower. The view was of no importance. It is always a good stay at this hotel, quiet and never hear anything outside! A good base for us visiting WW1 places of interest in France and Belgium. Also added bonus of sports channel on the tv showing UK premiership games.
Cons: The outside checking in system did not work, it would not accept my credit card. Luckily the receptionist turned up for duty a few minutes after we arrived on the Sunday around 5pm, otherwise I'm not sure what we would have done to get our room. There was no notice anywhere saying when the reception would be manned.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It is plain and simple, ideal for short overnight stays. Great value and very pleasant staff.
Cons: A good budget hotel that is needing a refresh and some things fixing like the shower curtain and some electric sockets.
6.0 Good
Pros: Cheap, polite helpful staff
Cons: Strong smell if cigarette smoke in corridor and the room
7.0 Good
Pros: Good parking space for company vans Microwave to prepare meals
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Basic but clean, functional and very good value. Location is good for transport links but a little uninspiring. No matter. As a stopover before a long drive it is excellent. Good breakfast at a very fair price.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was very clean. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The mattress was firm and comfortable.
Cons: The shower was small (though just about adequate). The bunk bed was very difficult to get into, uncomfortable steps and it could do with another handle to help get up and down.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It was convenient on the way to the alps.
Cons: The sheets were not clean plus neither was the tiny shower room. Two people were leaving with their suitcases as we arrived - at midnight - which should have given us an idea !
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient location. Good value for money
Cons: Lack of soap & only one towel. Bed Counterpane had a cigarette burn in it.
7.0 Good
Pros: Second time at this hotel, its in a good location for where we like to go touring around. Arques is a lovely little town and people very friendly. Will be coming again next time we are out there.
Cons: Room smelt a little smokey.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location was good, that's about all I could praise it for.
Cons: The rooms are shabby, the breakfast poor and the typical Ibis overcharge for car parking. Won't use them again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and good value.

Pros: Very comfortable, warm and inviting and all staff very friendly and very helpful. Will recommend and will return for sure.
Cons: Cannot think of anything that we didn't like
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location would visit again
Cons: Room size was the only concern if you were staying longer than a day
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and very clean throughout. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the main square. Having parking available was great as meant we didn't need to search about for street parking. The breakfast was very good and the food was varied and fresh.
Cons: While the room was clean, it was small. However, that wasn't a huge issue as we were only there one night.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Restaurant on site, friendly staff.
Cons: Room was tiny, topper mattress slipped around on single bed. Room very hot even when temperature gauge was turned to a minimum setting, could see no air conditioning, too noisy to open window.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was great.
Cons: The process of paying was overly complicated and caused us to be overpaid, still awaiting a refund. The decor of the rooms was OK but the halls looked very tired.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Secure parking and restaurant open on a Sunday evening. Convenient for the eurotunnel trip and clean. Nice food.
Cons: The rooms are very small but OK for one night. The staff were polite on reception, but a bit indifferent in the restaurant and there was no one around to greet or help at breakfast time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When travelling back and forth to our second home in Greece which we do 4x a year our criterion for hotels is 1. Pet friends, 2. Car park, 3. Comfortable and clean and 4. Near restaurants and bars. This hotel ticks all those boxes.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: a good budget hotel, easy to find, ample parking and the restaurant is excellent. If using the hotel for an over night stop the restaurant is more than adequate.
Cons: Bedroom was rather small, but ok for a one night stop.
6.7 Good
Pros: Value for money. Food was good
Cons: Small badly finished rooms
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely food. Nice, helpful staff.
Cons: Being adjacent to the railway does present a bit of an issue if, like me, you sleep with the window open and you're on the railway side of the hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Dog friendly with nice restaurant, beside magnificent railway station building. Handy for walks along river.
Cons: Shower tray slow draining, we had to watch that it did not overflow. Switch for light on window side of bed was loose and potentially dangerous. Room a little on small size.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was comfortable and clean. Shower was very good. Location superb for an easy stroll into the town centre.
Cons: Electric socket a bit dodgy. When I pulled the plug out the whole socket came out too. Breakfast was ok but not worth €9.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was a good size as was the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good. I would suggest booking a table on arrival, as it does get very busy.
Cons: Steep steps

Cons: Thought breakfast was too expensive for what was offered
La Sapinière - Saint-Omer - Building

8.9 Excellent (568 reviews)
C$ 145+
Overview Reviews
When you stay at La Sapinière in Wisques, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Museum of La Coupole and Jardin Public de Saint-Omer. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of this hotel, just a few minutes away from the motorway was superb, and is ideal for a quiet and peaceful stopover. An easy to find hotel, with a very warm and helpful welcome, and the quality of the rooms, the lounge area and restaurant were a bonus. The restaurant was very busy, with a large number of local residents eating there. Despite being very busy our largish group of eight, consisting of three generations with an age range of 75 years was treated with a degree of courtesy and attention that is rare. I certainly intend to return to this hotel, both as an overnight stopover and as an extended stay to further explore the region.
Cons: On arrival the car park appeared to be full, with some inconsiderate parking on the part of visitors. However this problem was easily overcome by the very attentive manager who on seeing us arrive came out to direct us to a parking spot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food fabulous... Staff attentive..lovely views from dining room... Room spotlessly clean..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this hotel is excellent
Cons: Fantastic pet friendly hotel. The owner is so welcoming and such a nice guy. The cabins are fantastic, as is the service and the food. Perfect for travelling UK to France or Spain or vice versa. 5*
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access good facilities
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room, well equipped with kitchenette, lounge and desk areas. Very friendly staff. Dinner was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very handy for the A26, yet in a tranquil rural setting. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable, we were in the outer lodges rather than the main building and each room could accommodate three. The staff , especially the manager, were very friendly and accommodating. We ate in the restaurant and had a delicious meal in lovely surroundings. A great breakfast was enjoyed too.
Cons: Absolutely nothing! The only thing I can think of is that the children’s menu was limited to two choices. Everything else was perfect.
