Pros: Location and facilities were ideal for my purpose
Cons: The food for the breakfast is uninspiring
Pros: the place is quiet and nice and comfortable to relax and chilling
Pros: The heritage atmosphere
Cons: Nothing at all
Pros: very large car park area
Cons: the swimming pool is not clear enough
Pros: The swimming pool is nice. Breakfast was good with some choices from rice, bread, porridge or cereal. And its buffet.
Cons: Almost nothing
Pros: Location is excellent
Cons: Equipment is not of high standard
Pros: Friendly and helpful staffs, beautiful surroundings and the spa is good.
Cons: We stayed at room 3105 and there were some bugs issue on the bed and headboard. We called the front office and they moved us to the room next door, 3106. The staffs were helpful and handle our complaints quickly. They apologized and said the management will do further action to clean the bugs in the rooms.
Pros: the food were delicious
Pros: I like ambience of the hotel. It's so relaxing.
Cons: I like the old building room. It's more comfort that the new one.
Pros: We arrived late at the property, so we couldn’t see much. But when we woke up, wow, what a stunning view you hardly see when you live in a city like us. Furthermore, we could enjoy breakfast with such views by pool side. Love it!
Cons: Need improvement on the shower area, a thorough clean is needed.
Pros: Fourth time this year and will probably go back again to enjoy quiet peaceful time hiking through the village at sun up.
Pros: WHAT I EXPECTED
Cons: COUNTRY SIDE
Pros: Remote location with a superb view over the valley and on to the mountain. Great place to unwind and relax. The breakfast is a definite bonus and the food offered is of good quality against a very reasonable price. Giyarti will do anything to make your stay enjoyable, she’s just great. Her English isn’t, but with Google translate you will figure it out!
Pros: The staff tried to be helpful, but they were incapable of speaking English this was difficult
Cons: We were picked up by the hotel, they tried to charge too much for pickup. When we told them we would rather take a grab car they adjusted the price to a reasonable one. The car they used was noisy and uncomfortable. There was no staff that could speak English. Every time they pretended to understand us and said yes, only later we had to conclude that they didn’t understand us at all. We ordered a vegetarian dish and got meat. We asked them to call a car and they didn’t. The staff gave us incorrect information, they told us grab was not available in the area, this turned out to be untrue. The rooms were moderately clean, but the bathroom was a disaster. The owner should really maintain the buildings better. The owner should offer English classes to his staff or be available himself.
Pros: It’s a very great place to stay for escaping from daily activities at workplace. Located in the middle of a remote village with an awesome view to Merbabu mountain. A spacious room, the bed room and bath room very clean with pool side views. Perfect breakfast provided with various menus. This place has well maintained swimming pool and nice green gardens. Thank you to Mbak Giyarti the staff very polite and friendly. She is just great..!!!
Cons: The access road is too small. No sign direction to this place. Thanks to GPS.
Pros: Nice garden and nice view. Beautiful swimming pool Only three rooms, so the place is almost yours
Cons: Don't ask for dinner, it's a bad experience. Very powefull sono of the very nearby mosque. It used to be a high standard building but it would need to be refreshed (stains on the ceiling, stained curtain not properly fastened...) Poor Wi-Fi.
Pros: It is a beautiful hotel, very remote. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom clean. The pool and gardens seem very well maintained. The staff are very pleasant and friendly, but they don't speak english.
Cons: There must be aproblem with water. You have to keep asking for the water to be turned on. Also for hot water. We came back from being out all day to find that there was no water at all , water was delivered later that evening. Then it was switched off over night., there is no mandi or bucketfor water to flush the toilet.
Pros: EXCELLENT HIKING WITH MY 12 YEAR SON. VERY FRIENDLY FARMING VILLAGERS. INCREDIBLE SCENERY OF VOLCANOES, LAKE, FARMING. QUIET. PEACEFUL. COOL TEMPERATURES. VERY FAMILY COMPATIBLE.
Cons: Need non skid shower floor mats. Need maintenance of doors.
Pros: Excellent view. Breakfast is morethan expectation.

Pros: Location was good. Very quiet.
Cons: The family room was not family friendly. I booked family room because I travel with young children who one of them was 3 years old. Unfortunately the hotel didn't provide a kettle to boil the water. This is really unacceptable because we need to prepare the milk for the kids. The price was too expensive for the room that didn't include the breakfast. The room was not quite clean. There was a spider web in the bathroom and some mold on the ceiling.
Pros: the place and the service were excellent
Cons: it was fully booked and I have to wait for check in, but it's ok because the service and security was good so we can put our things first before we get the room.
Pros: I like the hotel location, beautiful view and bonus the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Good location, flexible check in and rescheduling
Cons: Not every room have air conditioning, check carefully before check in, pool is good but lack of maintenance with poor water quality, no buffet breakfast
Pros: Everything. Especially the staff!
Pros: Good comfy beds and nice pool.
Cons: Terrible food. Made in a rush. I also paid through IDEAL beforehand. When arriving at the hotel they told me I still had to pay. The hotel did not even accept it when I showed the payment confirmation on booking.com I ended up paying twice!!!!!! Terrible!
Pros: We booked room about a month before but when we approached property, we were asked that there's no reservation against our booking as the reservation had been allocated to someone else. This was not intimated to us earlier, when we confronted, they tried to find a solution, they tried offering us rooms at hotels nearby. As we insisted to stay in same hotel, they made us sit for about three hours at reception area and finally provided us rooms at 6 pm. This was not expected and was so shocking.

Pros: The privacy and comfortable stay.
Cons: No clear instructions of breakfast (one day it eas buffet, the other day we need to order ourselves). Breakfast menu was very high in carbs which I don’t really like. And the internet wasn’t really the best.
Pros: the staffs tried to meet our accomodation, but they're underqualified to understand the standard for hospitality and service.
Cons: room is horrible! dirty and UNLIKE the pic at all, smells bad. sheets are dirty, also the floor. bathroom dont even ask because it's dirty, i had to buy flip flops on my own to even set foot to the bathroom. will not recommend this place, such a regret!
Pros: The staff were so friendly and helpful, it really made our stay of 3 weeks really enjoyable. Breakfasts were a treat with lots of traditional Indonesian food, great variety. Not far from the traditional market for extra treats too.
