First off I ask the clerk about a senior discount and she said it will cost you more if I apply that Next the bathroom sink was broke and the tub had a ring around it and when you needed to use the toilet that would rock back and forth .The next morning the clerk didn't even say good morning or how was your stay. Next time I go to North Carolina or any traveling i will never stay at a Days Inn In an very dissatisfied customer. Eileen Everett
I the key card worked every time
Place for breakfast unexceptional place needs renovating, rooms need to be more enviting.
There was nothing I liked about this hotel except making reservations at another hotel and leaving this Days Inn early.
The front desk staff was horrible, when I complained, she would not give me her name, and she was rude to other guest who complained of bed bugs and being downsized, and not being give a reduced rate. I was placed in a room next to the outside exit/entrance and was kept awake with the door slamming, guests talking in the hall, and even hearing the sound using their key to enter the building, When I complained, the night manager told me to come back the next morning before 11 am and I could be placed in another room for the duration of my stay. When I went to the manager the next morning, she told me that "her boss" wanted me to check out and that mu reservations were cancelled. She refused to refund my money that was charged when I checked in plus the $50 incidental fee what was applied because I used a credit card. Just so happened, a guest she also told to leave had gotten the Days Inn Customer Service Number and I was able to call them and complain after I had called the police because she would not give me my money. And five (5) days later, I am still scratching from the bed bugs. I live in hotels and B&B's about 10 days per month all over the world and this is the worst hotel and the worst experience I have had in all my life. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. And I had left another Days Inn in Fayetteville after a week long business trip and the hotel was great.
I checked in an was charged extra went to bed found out they had bed bugs told the staff an they gave me a hassle about the fact they Had bed bugs like it was our fault down graded us from a double room to a single room with no compensation call the police because I made a complaint I called customer service and my reference number is 2675797548
The room was pretty soundproof for being right next to the highway.
The deadbolt lock was loose and made opening the door difficult. I was approached by a man who said he was security but he didn't have any uniform or nametag on. He came back to my room and knocked about my car being parked without a tag. (my paper temp tag came off on the trip) I was hesitant to open the door. There was a man obviously on drugs or coming down on my way to breakfast.
