10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super nice and helpful staff. Beautiful place and rooms. Good breakfast. Perfect weekend spot.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is unique, it is basically ancient monastery fully renovated with some parts of medieval interior and murals still left untouched. In the same time the room is very comfortable and modern. Magical place for those looking for a different experience.
Cons: The restaurant has a Michelin star but the food is very specific for the region.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very charming - and calm place .Wounderfull brakefast buffet- nice decor in the room. Excellent restaurant in the basement. relaxing jacussi in the room.
Cons: bed s was a little bit to hard for me. One more chair for the famely room would be usefull.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel was quite pretty and the staff was kind enough to book a masseuse for us and settle the massage table in our room for our arrival. The decoration is kept simple but on the original monastery style which is very nice and authentic. The village is absolutely splendid and the staff has given us very good recommendations to have dinner at night.
Cons: There was a party in the restaurant under our room and nobody thought about telling us. Until 2 in the morning, it was as if there was a night club in our room. We were very disappointed as we were expecting tranquility when we booked a room in an ancient monastery... Also, the room was very cold.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with a fantastic view over Saluzzo and the peak of Monviso. The old town of Saluzzo is impressive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a gem. The resort and Saluzzo generally were terrific. The staff were helpful and went above and beyond.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place. Very good restaurant in the hotel - in our opinion one of the best in Saluzzo if not the best. Scenic location in the old town center.
Cons: A bit too noisy heater in our room. Some problems with hot water - low pressure under the shower.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: In the heart of medieval Saluzzo. Great breakfast spread and comfortable beds. It was an interesting experience staying in a convent turned hotel, but I appreciate the charm and history!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this hotel. It is magnificent, with a modernity and yet having kept the soul of this magnificent place. The personnel couldn’t be more charming. Driving there can be challenging, but they are always helpful - give them a call. Wonderful!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: On arrival struggling up the steps, not knowing there is a lift from the car park, we were met with an enthusiastic welcome, quickly followed by coffee and tea. Registered we were shown to an enormous room with a bathroom the size of a normal hotel room. Possibly the widest bed ever slept in, woke up in the morning and thought my wife had risen early till I saw her in the distance. Always wary of isolated hotels where one is in ransom to their restaurant, we were delighted by the food and the service was exceptional.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast in a lovely garden and very friendly and helpful stars.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Right on the old town
Cons: Hotel is inside the old town. No parking on site, but possibility to arrange for parking in the nearby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This lovely and beautifully restored small hotel is exactly what I look for when choosing places to stay...a warm and charming atmosphere, nearby small shops and restaurants, and some things to see of interest to a visitor. Add in an exceptional staff, great service, an impeccable room and you have a standout combination. A surprise plus was that they had a wonderfully delicious restaurant where we had dinner on one of our nights.
Cons: There's just nothing that we didn't like. It was all around a perfect spot...we'd liked to have had time to stay another night to explore more of the interesting town and surrounding area.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern, boutique hotel renovated inside the old town. Rooms on the interior courtyard (terrace) side are quiet and very pleasant. In warmer weather (we were in early October, a bit cool), you can sit out on the attractive terrace. Rooms - modern decor, good comfort. Good sized bathroom, very clean, plenty of hot water (shower no tub). Free WiFi, worked well in the room. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good, extensive breakfast, good coffee. Location is attractive, inside the area of the old city walls. Short walk up to the town castle, and down to the main pedestrian plazas and shopping streets in the area outside the old city walls. Restaurant is very nice, excellent cuisine, good wine list; good and friendly service. Nearby secured parking is available, for an extra charge. (Among other choices, very near by is an excellent all-pizza restaurant, Donna Valentina.) Saluzzo is a very pleasant town, located near some good sightseeing (the frescoes - late Gothic - at Castle Manta are highly recommended - see Well of Miracles attached), short distance up into the foothills of the nearby Alps on the French border. Town has a very relaxed atmosphere, a pleasant ambiance for strolling and cafe sitting. It's a small town; not a lot of shopping but we don't expect that in a town of this size and character.
Cons: Getting to the hotel by car is challenging. Inside the old city walls, very narrow streets and lots of one-ways. Even with GPS it was difficult to hit it the first time there. Easier once you've done it. If you don't pay for the secured parking garage (which is not right at the hotel), street parking is scarce, difficult, pay and time-limited, and possibly therefore not near by. You can unload in front of the hotel, but after that you might have a serious walk from where you find parking. I chose to avoid all this by paying for the secured parking. Both the hotel and the restaurant are a bit pricey. They are very good quality, but perhaps still a bit high as value for the money.
