Aparta-Hotel Villa Baya

Very authentic and cool. It was exactly you would expect a hotel to look like in Bayahibe.

I traveled with my husband around Dominican Republic. We stayed in Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Samana peninsula and here in Bayahibe. I like this place most and I can truly recommend to stay here. Location Very nice location, public beach is near, so you can easily work there, same for restaurants. If you prefer more private place, you can drive to national park. Staff The owners of this place are very nice and helpful. They can speak English. Room Room is very nice, clean and smells fresh. You have a fridge, working AC and hot water. We were very satisfied with housekeeping. Parking You can park directly at front of your room in a closed area. You feel safe here.

Bed is small for couples. More like queen size, but it was everywhere in DOM where we stayed. This place gets little noisy during nights because of homeless dogs and cats in the city.

Position good for public transport (from Santo domingo, la romana ecc), excellent for playa bayahibe, dominicus americanus and for the excursions to isla saona. Staff friendly, professional and helpful during all the period of our stay. The apartment was big and clean. Recommended!

- great clean room and terrace - very friendly staff and host - very very nice neighborhood with friendly people, beachbars and good places to eat for affordable prices - fruit in the morning - parking - national park with free entrance near (10 min by car). - price is ok. Compared to Belgium everything is expensive here.

- al lot of noise during the night. But that might be everywhere in the Dominican Republic - no real breakfast available

Everything! The property owners and staff are super friendly. The apartment is plenty large, with a bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room, plus a kitchen. The place was kept very clean. There was a little table on the terrace where we enjoyed food & drinks most nights.

I guess the bed was a little too firm for me.
