AMAZING
One of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had. This hotel is gorgeous, clean & fabulous. I'd love to keep it my secret, but you must book this lovely boutique hotel when visiting Santa Fe. Short, one block walk to the park & amazing shopping. The gentlemen running the frint desk are so friendly, & very helpful. 5 stars all the way!!!
That I couldnt stay longer!
A quaint boutique hotel near the heart of old Sant
The Luxx has an excellent location, tucked away near the Santa Fe Plaza and the Palace of the Governors. Rooms are clean, quiet, and well furnished. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Wonderful stay
Incredibly friendly staff. Outstanding location. great price point. Clean, cool, funky rooms. We had a major airline snafu and had to return for an extra night and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Just a great place.
Room was on the cramped side...but we are a family of 5 so were using all of the sleeping space (the master bed area and the pullout couch (actually much more comfortable then that...it's a bed under a day bed, can't recall the name for this) so not entirely representative.
Location
Had to pay $20 to park (didn't know that until we got there) Minimal front staff - not there in evening or morning Blinds did not fit window so not very private Would not stay there again
unexpected surprise
Great little hotel.we booked it for the price..it was such an unexpected surprise.Sam who was working the front desk all weekend was so helpful..
Very, very Santa Fe (in the best way!)
I found the Luxx to be a charming little place. It's off the main drag, which is nice, and it has some great amenities. It's definitely a bargain - if you don't like staying in bland, cookie-cutter chain hotels but still expect a good experience, the Luxx is a great venue. The rooms definitely feel as though they're all unique - and they likely are. Bold colors on the walls, wild patterns on floor, brightly-colored tile headboards, and some requisite mission-style wood pieces to tie it all together. It is different and welcoming. To me, it feels like home. Love that they use key codes instead of key cards - no chance of getting locked out that way. My room had two doors - one for interior access to the hotel and a back door exiting into an outdoor lounge with hot tub access. Not sure if all of the rooms have this setup, but being able to come and go without actually going through the interior of the hotel added to the privacy - I liked this very much. The hotel definitely seems to cater to a crowd that are likely affluent, not travelling with children, and who like something different. I didn't see any evidence of children anywhere and I was easily the youngest person I saw there as well (I'm in my mid 20's). I had no disturbances from other guests during my stay, either. It's a nice scene. Slept great, got to my meeting on time and rested. Great staff all-around. Love this place. Will return as business brings me back to Santa Fe.
The parking situation is not ideal, but that's the trade off for the location. I opted to pay for secured parking the the gated parking garage next door instead of feeding parking meters/chancing a ticket. The rate for this is a bit steep ($20) but I found it worth it to avoid being towed, getting dented, or having to get snow off the car. I found all of the parking options to be sub-par even for my very small car. It shouldn't be a surprise in Sante Fe, but if you're driving something big and haven't been before, you'll find the parking a squeeze for an SUV.
Great price. Great location
$20 Extra for parking. Most paid since SF.
