The price was cheap but now I know why
There was pubic hairs and hair everywhere in the bathroom. The comforter had cigarette holes in it. It was filthy and none of the people that worked in the hotel wore Masks even though the mayor of Savannah signed an executive order to do so. The floor was filthy and was not vacuumed. I will never stay in this hotel or this area again there is a lot of activity in the middle of the night.
Toilet was disgustingly filthy. There was no cold water in the lobby, only hot for tea. Room remained damp even with air conditioner, which made the tile floor slippery and caused my partner to fall. After making a claim and filling out an incident report, we were advised that the manager would contact us but never did. Staff was not helpful when we asked for ice pack. The woman on duty said to walk up a flight of stairs for ice, even knowing that my partner couldn't walk because of fall.
Bed was very comfortable.
The room that I booked was not available. I had to take a room with a single bed and the Manger tells me that it's the same price. Online it was 25.00 cheaper yet he tells me that he can't give it to me at that price. I cancelled the reservations and booked the single room so that I could get the online price. The Manager tell's me that it doesn't work that way and it wasn't until that I was going to leave that he say's that he could. Worst customer service ever. I will never stay at a LaQuinta hotel again.
The pool was super clean and refreshing
The front desk staff could have been more professional. I asked for clean towels(we did not have room service) and had some trouble. The lady at the front desk did not want to give me extra towels.
Great location, good size room, comfy bed, plenty of parking.
THERE WAS AN ACTUAL PARTY IN THE POOL. I checked in at 9:10pm, over the desk was a big sign that said "Pool Closes at 9pm" - but the pool was open, full of 20+ individuals, there was a lot of alcohol bottles, no one was wearing a mask or social distancing. and there was LOUD, amplified music. It was a disaster zone, i thought i was in the twilight zone. it was dirty, loud, dangerous & disgusting. I did not feel safe at all. I had driven 9 hours that day, was exhausted and walked into a wild party zone. Date was Friday July 3rd, 2020.
