Pros: This is a very expensive area in the summer so while the rate was high for most places it was reasonable for this area. The woman who was responsible for the breakfast area, Jan?, was very knowledgeable about places to visit in the area. The facilities were excellent! The breakfast had a number of options and the room was quite comfortable. It got very nice sun in the afternoon as did the very nice pool area.
Cons: As mentioned above, the overall cost was high but this unfortunately is typical in this area.

Pros: Beautiful room right in a vineyard.
Cons: Lack of a microwave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a unique property, just one room in the midst of an Idyllic setting of vineyards in the beautiful Sonoma Valley countryside. I had a problem with my reservation and the owners Linda & Greg were extremely accommodating and everything worked better than I could ever expect, I was totally refunded for the time I did not stay. Truly honest people. I could write for hours and yet fail to convey what is there to like in this one bedroom — and what a bed room — property. Elegant through simplicity, refined by culture, simply wonderful!
Cons: Don't look for posh or bling at Pearlessence. Simplicity reigns in paradise. I shall return.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good bed and bedding and toiletries. Apple juice in small fridge
Cons: Not a great value. Also it is advertised as a bed and breakfast, but there is no breakfast included. Very pricey at $275 a night. Also, could have used an extra hand towel in bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners awesome and hospitable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful! Spacious private unit with a view over the property's vineyard. The owners are very friendly and prepare a great breakfast. We felt thoroughly spoiled all weekend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this place! Wish we weren't so rushed due to our plans. It's like having your own little place overlooking the vineyard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Pearl's were a charming couple who were very accommodating. They took great pride in making sure their guests felt at home. They hand delivered a different full and sumpuious breakfast each morning on our requested time schedule. The accomodations were beautiful and charming and was one of the highlights of our trip. Pearlessence is central to most wineries within the Russian River Valley and I would highly recommend this as a base of operations. THANK YOU LINDA AND GREG PEARL FOR A MOST WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE & A LONG LASTING MEMORY
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The peace and quiet. I could have stayed longer.
Cons: Too costly to afford for longer stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were so comfy. Rooms are spacious. Bathroom has magnifying mirror. Shower was fabulous. All was so quiet. Perfect stay.
Cons: No complimentary breakfast and the morning counter coffee disappeared very early-before 8am!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is my 3rd time staying at the hotel, and each visit has been a pleasant experience!
7.5 Good
Pros: Missed the breakfast. Almost had to bribe the young waitress for a cup of coffee in the lobby at 8:30 am.
Cons: Not tissues in the room. This is an amenity one associates with solid middle class places like Holiday Inn. I got the sense that management was cutting corners with tissues and coffee....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My Breakfast was amazing. More Inportantly Samantha, (who served my breakfast) was awesome. She was even kind enough to share local knowledge on the town of Windsor. I found it to be very informational and interesting. All of the staff was so kind and helpful. I couldn’t be more grateful.
Cons: I just wish the pool and whirlpool was open. Unfortunately it was closed for renovations.
7.0 Good
Pros: Very convenient location
Cons: Service was limited, felt understaffed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location and amenities
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There restaurant is really good and overall cleanliness
Cons: No nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was VERY clean and had great amenities.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent adjacent to 101 freeway and Old Redwood Hwy. Easy trip (40min) to Calistoga / St Helena area for wedding on Memorial Day wknd when Bottle Rock was on and Napa Valley sold out. Convenient to Sonoma Valley wineries such as Copain.
Cons: The closet door would not stay open and the space between it and the bathroom door was tight which was aggravating and made dressing a bit awkward. Also, the lighting was AWFUL except for the bathroom. No lighting at the closet or the area where the coffee maker was located. Only lights in the room were bedside lights and one floor lamp. Fine One window was jammed so we could not open it which we would have preferred vs using AC. Mgmt should make sure windows are operable to save on AC costs!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable
Cons: The hotel was over priced

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place
Cons: Gets more expensive every year
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was cute and peaceful
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: I had an unfortunate experience with the staff that I won't go into in detail, but suffice to say they were rude, insulting and I was given unfair treatment. The room was below par for the price--no bathtub, only a shower. I will NEVER stay there again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
4.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: not a 3 star hotel. maybe 2 star.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice very well-appointed and everything there that we needed and very comfortable
Cons: It would have been nice to have Netflix and that is what we usually watch
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place to stay in such a lovely town. I believe all the rooms have just been renovated. Our room was clean, simple but nice decorated. The staff that I have communicated with was helpful.
Cons: There was a yellow stain (size of an orange)on one of our duvet. The cleaner should have check more carefully.
6.8 Good
Cons: No hairdryer. Coffee machine difficult. No coffee in lobby cause clerk does not drink coffee. Nice
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious. Excellent location for in- and out-of-town activities. The room with the balcony was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Nicely renovated, most recently. This is not our first time here. We like this place and love the town.
Cons: The bathroom was not clean enough: Two used towels were left hanging on the door; some hair left on the shower walls and curtain; the new shower floor had some stains from the renovation. The central garden which underwent a facelift now looks plain and conventional. I miss the former homy look.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I stayed there years ago and it was basic, kinda funky. It's very modern now, clean and updated! Great facelift.
Cons: It was a bit pricey, although I don't know how it compares to other hotels in the area. It has been renovated and it great location, but the nightly rate still seems a bit high to me.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room with easy access to amenities and community. Staff very friendly. The price was very high for weekend.
Cons: My bedside lamp didn't work and there were not plug ins for electronics.
7.5 Good
Pros: Newly remodeled
Cons: Smelled like paint was hard to deal with.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was accommodating and friendly, great breakfast buffet
Cons: the hallways smelled musty, could have been because it rained all week, chairs inside the rooms could be cleaner

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and newly renovated. Bed was great.
Cons: USB ports should be located on the desk not under the TV, since you’re going to use your laptop on the desk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, comfy bed, all new facilities. Very clean. Breakfast included hot items, scrambled eggs, sausages and waffles.
Cons: There is extensive updating being done so the hot tub was unavailable, which was a big disappointment. Parking was tight with all the new materials containers taking up space.
