good breakfast especially the very good and varied bread
It would be better if the menu was in French or English, not just in German.
The facility is good and in a small quite village.
The smell of the horses is everywhere. The staff are not speaking english to help you get your things done or help you. No grocery store around you. So, if you want to just relax this is a good place not for going around and visit different places around you because everything (tourism places) is far away.
The hotel seemed as if to pop out of a movie set. The horses were running around in the open field and it is set in such a beautiful village. The rooms are simplistic and cozy. The food is phenomenal. I had a venison ragout with homemade spatzle for dinner and apple strudel for dessert. The breakfast was fantastic. Fresh breads, soft boiled eggs and an array of cured meats and other breakfast foods. A must, if you are in the area.
Really good situation in a farm with the horses at the window. Food was really good (the chef cooks everything himself).
Our apartment was perfect for myself, my husband and our 11 year old daughter (and our dog). It's not easy to find nice places where a dog is welcome. We were even allowed to bring him up to the restaurant during dinner where he lay quietly under the table. We could walk up to the dining room without having to leave the building-very practical.
If I had booked a little earlier than I did I would have asked for an apartment facing out onto the field for a better view. The view from our apartment wasn't great, but we were near the horses which was kind of cool.
A large garden, horse stables and riding facilities are offered at this hotel, quietly located in the Black Forest village of Seewald. Free WiFi and a rustic restaurant are featured. Each of the Hotel-Gasthof Pferdekoppel’s traditionally furnished rooms feature a private balcony with flower boxes and scenic views. The rooms include a TV and private bathroom. A rich buffet breakfast and hearty cuisine from the Baden region are served in the Pferdekoppel’s restaurant. Drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace, overlooking the fields. Guests can enjoy a romantic trip around Seewald in a horse-drawn carriage. Lake Stausee is a 20-minute drive away, ideal for swimming and sailing. A cross-country ski trail is a 10-minute walk from the property. Huzenbach Train Station is a 7-minute drive from Hotelpferdekoppel, and shuttle service can be booked. Free parking is provided.
