A charming old grand house with lovely garden, sitting room, breakfast room, etc. Lovely period appointments. We had a full attic conversion space. Bed fit a bit tightly in the sleeping area, but was the most comfortable we’ve had in Portugal. Attentive, but unobtrusive resident manager and an exceptional breakfast in elegant space next to the garden. 2 block walk to Sintra’s central plaza.
Card Payment machine didn’t work, and we had to walk to the plaza for an atm. Otherwise fine.

Dry charming house and garden. Very inviting. Our hostess Maria lovely and Jovita extremely friendly and helpful. Very comfy beds, incredible breakfast and Nespresso coffee.
With the road one way system changes in Sintra, don’t rely on the GPS but use a reliable road map! Keep in touch with owner for up to date changes.

Sintra is a place with a romantic exotic past and this house mirrors that time, both it’s style and decor but also it’s delightful owner who was a wonderful source of advice and stories. We loved it!

Maintenance needed in house. Getting to the guesthouse was a nightmare. No signs in town and on the way to the guesthouse. Google maps did not work there. Sintra road changes....

Very warm welcome by host. Excellent breakfast service with a many options including also freshly made eggs, juice and great coffee. Interior perfect for this villa, Sintra and its history, and the beautiful nature around it. Perfect views and sunset from terrace. Staying at the suite had style and a space to relax.

“The Guest House was located very centrally with the main square of Sintra just a few minutes walk away. It was also easy to access the main attractions in the town from where we were staying. Maria was very helpful and the accommodation was very comfortable and clean.”
