C$ 109+
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic welcome from the owners. Beautiful house and huge garden with lovely views.
Cons: The property is accessed via a narrow lane. You need a car to go back into Sisteron. This does make the location very peaceful though.

9.2 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely peaceful setting, Very clean bedroom with a small private terrace with a table and chairs. Very welcoming couple, made us feel very much at home. Lovely breakfast on the terrace each morning with fresh warm croissants and bread. Our hosts took time to chat to us, and we were entertained one evening with great guitar playing and singing.
Cons: A little far out of Sisteron, but it is ok if you have a car. Our bedroom was quite small, but we only stayed for two nights so it wasn’t a problem for us.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: There was a garage to put our motorbikes (but at extra cost!).
Cons: At a first glance the room looked modern and clean. Unfortunately, this is not the case at all. In our room the bath was old and not very clean. You are not able to open the second door for the toilet properly. The soap dispensers both were empty (but refilled quickly after complaining). There was a big spider in the bathroom. The shelf in the shower to put your stuff was broken and the shower curtain was used and not very clean as well. But the worst was the dirty/strained bedsheet. When we opened the window at night, to let in some fresh air, we had to close them again because of horrible waste smell. The breakfast the next morning was the worst we encountered on our three week trip. Everything (except some decoration fruits) was plastic packed, cheap convenient food. For an extra cost of over 10 Euros, the breakfast was nothing but a bad joke.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Hot room. No aircon
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great over night stay
Cons: Location , cleanliness, staff ,
7.1 Good
Pros: Thanks so much to all the staff for helping us in our stay. Lovely town Sisteron and Le Tivoli location fantastic. Hope to come back soon.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good Location in the Town and a nice looking hotel
Cons: Had parking under ground which is tight to get into but handy. However the next morning the car was covered in a thick layer of limestone dust from the garage roof! Breakfast, what there was of it, was awful and the staff typically rude! Worst of all was the continual noise starting outside at 4am until 7 from the utility trucks emptying bins which meant sleep was impossible!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and light room, nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Secure garage parking although a bit tight through entrance and for manoeuvring.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location and atmosphere. Very polite and helpful staff especially guiding me into the garage as was a bit tight for my car!!! The photo is from my room. A stunning location for views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, clean room, nice location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, easy to find, great staff,
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very central hotel with the view of the citadell and the mountain, a nice room, spacious bathroom with 2 vanity basins. The garage is a bit undeveloped, but it is possible to park there for 6 euros.
Cons: No fly screen on the window, we opened it for fresh air and got a few dozen flies straight away. The rest of the evening was dedicated to chasing flies, but they won, because they outnumbered us. Interestingly, flies don’t fly into the open window in the morning.

6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: rooms out dated. needs duvets not sheets. needs sound proofing as when person in adjacent room flushes loo/showers, you can hear them. Too expensive for what is on offer. Breakfast is bit limited for what you are asked to pay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff! Great place to stay in the middle of Sisteron. There is a save locked separated bike room in the garage :). And very good coffee for breakfast. I appreciated the hotel and can really recommend it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere, position, staff we as a family all loved it.Sisteron is a fantastic place to stay.If it wasn’t 16000 km away we would visit heaps more often
Cons: All good
7.1 Good
Pros: Good size for 3 people.
Cons: It was very noisy the night we were there due to Algeria winning the football/soccer.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent location, easy parking, quiet room with air conditioning
Cons: Décor tired and in need of refreshing. But it has an old-style charm not found in chain hotels. Postage sized stamp television was amusing
6.7 Good
Pros: I was only at the hotel from 10 PM to 6sm, do not too much insight into other hotel features.
Cons: Would have given more, bit the bedroom didn't have Aircon, which really impacts my sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Air conditioned and an elevator. It had a nice restaurant and was within walking distance to the old town. Friendly staff.
Cons: It’s showing it’s age. Our room had a big rip in the carpet which had been sewn but frayed. No shower curtain.
6.7 Good
Pros: Was certainly a great hotel in the 60s.... But now outdated. However very good staff. Avoid the restaurant. Very good breakfast
Cons: Outdated
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay at this quaint hotel in Sisteron. Accommodating staff, nice breakfast.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff at the hotel were lovely! We stayed two nights and they were very friendly!
Cons: The hotel is rather run down and would love a make over to brighten it up! The rooms are painfully small, but it was not an expensive stay, so we accept that you get what you pay for! We are at the restaurant which was ok. But there are a number of great cafes and restaurants in the area and I’d probably recommend trying those :)

8.3 Excellent
Cons: problems with the aircondition
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff helpful and friendly, room was comfortable, breakfast good.
6.7 Good
Pros: the usual ibis
Cons: the air con
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The restaurant is minimal, the food is not good. As the hotel is quite far from the town (it is located at a very convenient highway entrance), it takes for granted that customers will not take their cars again to go and have diner elseware.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, friendly, helpful staff, good food, pool. DO NOT miss a visit to the Citadelle ... fantastic.
Cons: Not a great problem, but a shame that the hotel was near a fairly busy road. Of course, on the plus side that meant easy access. Nowhere to really walk, and no local facilities near. Great for travelling through though.
7.5 Good
Pros: OK
Cons: It is summer, the temperature is very high and apparently the garbage is not properly handled as there were many, many flies. It was very irritating to have flies buzzing and landing on the breakfast buffet and having to fight them off at the table.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was OK - typical Ibis
Cons: Very unhelpful and surly check-in female. About ten days ago someone rang and advised me that the Hotel would not be providing food on the night of our stay. When asked, they stated that food would, however, be available nearby. This turned out to be untrue as the nearest food was around three kms. away.
6.7 Good
Pros: AC and clean room.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Very small room and basic.
Cons: The whole experience
6.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location for an overnight stop.
Cons: Disappointed to find the restaurant was closed so had to go out to eat - only thing nearby was McDonalds. Slow service on hotel reception and at the bar but I think the staff were struggling with what looked like a large group of adolescent schoolchildren. Standard Ibis breakfast, not sure why it was €9.90 when the same breakfast was €6.50 in Dijon.
ibis budget Sisteron - Sisteron - Bedroom
7
7.3 Good (1,428 reviews)
C$ 61+
Overview Reviews
The ibis budget Sisteron is located on route Napoléon, a few minutes from the center of Sisteron and its citadel. For tourist getaways, it is close to the Verdon Gorge and the Serre-Ponçon lake. The hotel offers 30 air-conditioned rooms, some of which are for families, equipped with free WIFI. A terrace, a pool and a free enclosed car park are available. Food available at the ibis hotel
7.5 Good
Pros: The room wasn't big but contained everything necessary. The authomatic check-in is a good idea and works really fast. Free parking.
Cons: The rooms should be cleaned better: there was a spider's web with something inside above the window and some small dead insects on the walls of the shower cabin which was really unpleasant (room N.218)
7.5 Good
Pros: Easy to book.
Cons: The room was painted in a dark colour, felt a bit claustrophobic. Another Guest, had to find a member of staff, to ask for bread, to be given for the buffet breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Proximity to Sisteron city. Small terrace for breakfast outside.
Cons: Norhing to dislike. The hotel matches the Ibis Budget standards.
7.1 Good
Pros: A typical ibis budget
Cons: Nothing what I did not expect from an ibis budget
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bit disappointing tbh. Location is good, and Sisteron beautiful but would go somewhere else.
Cons: As foreign visitors we were disappointed with the arrival, where the receptionist spoke deliberately very quickly in French and didn’t slow down even when asked. Subsequently the room was a bit disappointing with some of the bedding smelling strange, the shower not working optimally and breakfast not great with very weak coffee and the orange juice machine not working. There was also noise at 6am which disturbed us, which wasn’t ideal also.
7.1 Good
Pros: Standard ibis budget so you are aware of what to expect. The location is 3 miles out of town so you neeed transport to get there and not convenient to walk into town. Convenient for the motorway or someone driving the Napoléon route. There were no staff at reception of the ibis budget, but it sits aside another ibis hotel and they share the receptionist if you have any queries, alternatively there is a phone on reception to contact them. It’s a self check-in which is quick if you have used this at other hotels of a similar nature.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Always is OK

7.1 Good
Pros: Pool was a very nice addition at the very hot summerday. Air conditonered room was more expencive but worth it (37 C). Good parking. Good restaurant. Sisteron is a nice town to go, UNESCO heritage place.
Cons: Room had been used by smokers and it smelled really bad:-(
6.7 Good
Pros: Convenient location. Good for overnight stay.
Cons: Bed too small for an average size couple.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and clean. Bit dated and in middle of nowhere but were made to feel welcome.
Cons: Bit basic
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to town, nice swimming pool, well sealed windows - main road just next to the building not audible at all. Well done
Cons: Complaining on a high level - only fan was available to cool the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Overall a good value hotel for our needs.
Cons: A note that the less expensive rooms were not airconditioned and you have to pay more to get it would be appropriate. Note it is double storied with no lift.
6.7 Good
Pros: conveniently located and basically quite good value
Cons: Wanted demi-pension but this could not be booked beforehand, so had to pay more eating "à la carte*.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Dinner meal was good at the restaurant.
Cons: The family that run this business would do better do lots of work around the hotel rather than sit round the pool. Being overcharged at check out, thin stained towels, plastic cups, no pillow cases on spare pillows
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The room was dirty, the sheets were dirty. We found hair all over the bed. It was clear that nobody had changed the bed sheets in a while. There were spider webs in the rooms.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Convenient location for a cycle race.
Cons: Everything else, noisy traffic, no air conditioning (+32C in the room), old fittings and finishings. Dreadful place.
6.3 Good
Pros: croissants were flat and soggy definitely not fresh from a baker on the other hand breakfast was not expensive.

7.9 Good
Pros: It was basic but the room was very clean with a comfy bed. The view and location makes up for the fact the hotel is a little tired looking .
7.1 Good
Pros: Hotel was clean and central and easy to find. Parking was a bit of a challenge but overall good value for money. Attached restaurant was good and breakfast was plentiful and varied.
Cons: Only complaint was that the WC on our landing had no paper when we arrived and despite advising staff and asking for toilet tissue, no arrived during our one night stay. Luckily we were going on a camping holiday and had brought our own !
6.7 Good
Pros: Views, resto ok, bed comfy, location ideal.
Cons: No toilet paper in shared toilet, no soap in shared bathroom! We asked twice, to no avail. No air con, too noisy outside to keep window open.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The terrace view was wonderful, and the staff were very cheerful, kind and efficient. I think the location to the rest of the town for walking and exploring was perfect, and there was free parking just a short distance away. The original building was constructed in the 17th Century. It was converted into a hotel just after the war. What a great opportunity to stay in such an historic landmark!
Cons: A few hangers would have been welcome.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: When I arrived from a tough bike ride, in the early afternoon, I sat down to order a beer and food. When I started with beer, the waiter yelled that the area I was in was for food and walked off without waiting for me to complete my order. I headed to another restaurant for lunch. When I returned to check in, the owner was very friendly. The check-in area was a bar, however, and the public areas in the hallway smelt of disinfectant. The shower was good, but other bathroom essentials were poor. WiFi was hit or miss. At dinner, seeing the same obnoxious waiter (it was the tattooed guy, in case the owner cares), I chose to go elsewhere for dinner. Breakfast was mediocre - the orange juice dispenser didn't work, nor did the coffee machine. I had to make do with apple juice. I wouldn't return, if I had a choice.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Awesome hot tub overlooking the river
Cons: Tiny impractical lift
7.1 Good
Pros: The view from the room was awesome, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room clean and quiet.
Cons: The bed in reality was a sofabed so unconfortable, so little (my husband 1.80 tall didn't fit in the bed) and was impossible to sleep. access to the room was through a steep stone staircase in the dark and with a very low ceiling.
5.0 Okay
Cons: I was surprised to be charged twice for the room, and await a reimbursement by the hotel.
