Pros: the nature all around is fantastic
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's such a lovely hotel! The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They try to help you with whatever questions or problems you have. Shortly after we checked in, we felt as though we had been there for quite a long time. The lobby with a real fireplace and numerous soft toys, which you can buy if you want, is very cozy. Breakfast is delicious with a good choice of traditional food. And of course, your own sauna in a room is the cherry on the cake. If I ever go to Luosto again, I'll surely stay in Santa's Hotel Aurora & Igloos.
Cons: I liked everything there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a wonderful time at the property. Rooms were great, staff was super friendly, the meals/bar were good, and the recreational activities are a lot of fun. We stayed in a regular room and an igloo room. I preferred the regular room because it had a fireplace and a sauna in it. My wife preferred the igloo room because she could just look out at everything. If you’re worried about being too exposed in the igloo room, they have curtains that block the view. Local recreational activities are sledding, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. And I’m sure there are others, that’s just what we did. If you’ve never done an activity the company that they book through is awesome. The staff was very quick to respond to all messages and thoroughly answer all of my questions. Can’t say enough good things.
Cons: Not really property specific, more a Northern Europe thing is the use of twin beds. Probably a tradition that stems back from when husbands and wives slept in separate beds. Honestly, I don’t know if that’s still a thing in Europe. Maybe. Not that big a deal really.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very comfortable stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming staff, great location for all kinds of winter activities, had absolutely great time here and definitely want to come back

Pros: Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool and sauna were good. Great space in the room for a whole family. Soft beds. Nice view to trees and one morning reindeers. Fantastic surroundings and hike options.
Cons: Soft beds, but hard and clumped pillow s. A bit bad smell in the bathroom, maybe because we didn’t use the shower really because of the spa, so water stood still and started to smell?
7.9 Good
Pros: Good location. Very close to ski resort
Cons: None
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It felt more like a kids holiday club than a hotel at 400 eur night. Unfriendly reception, no customer service, very basic food at breakfast. Definitely not what you expect in a 4 star hotel. They never answered the phones when we tried to call them ahead of check in for some info
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sparking clean and great breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good breakfast! very good! alot of good food. Good location, good friendly personal. Helped us to find snowmobile safari in short time. we advice! View from the window is perfect. Very warm room.
Cons: Room could be cleaner, we found crumpled peace of paper on the floor. There was no soap in the bathroom but after 1 day it was refilled. We arrived about 23pm, we asked on reception about places where to have a dinner, but she suggested only chips and cookies from the bar and told that dont know any places. All places near the hotel are closed after 23pm, but 10km near you can find 3 or 4 places which closes only at 2am,strange that on reception dint know that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, restaurant, and souvenir shop on site. Perfect for a walk in the wilderness or skiing.

Pros: The location is fine
Cons: The door of the first room close to the gate will block the path when the door is fully opened
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast and friendly staff.
7.5 Good
Cons: We booked 2 rooms but on arrival only one was available, hotel was full so we had to share a room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Overall it's a good location if you are traveling to Sodankyla or nearby areas. The breakfast was quite good and had good options, it was clean and tidy when I checked-in but I think it was not cleaned every day or atleast towels etc. were not getting changed everyday. Sauna was the highlight and of good quality and you can have new towels from here anytime :). I believe it's a bit expensive for the village location but there are only 2 hotels and this one seems better in all respects. There are 2 supermarkets on walking distance that makes it better. They don't have lunch served but dinner seems good quality.
Cons: Towels were not changed, A bit expensive for the village location but I think it's usual for Finland.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast, good location for a stop on a long drive. Convenient to use to take a morning flight from Rovaniemi.
Cons: The room was very warm, had to open the windows to cool it down.
6.3 Good
Pros: Helpful staff who let me store my bike.
Cons: Way over priced.
