Pros: Beautiful house on stance with lovely seaside views. Room comfortable, spacious and charming: all immaculately clean. Breakfast worthy of celebration in verse and a warm, welcoming host.
Cons: Two rather pathetic niggles - no chair furnished in bedroom, and a toilet-seat that wouldn't stay up. But that's taking us into seriously nit-pecking territory.

Cons: All was good.No complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location to the Stenaline ferry was close enough to walk but considering we had four bags and it was a very busy thoroughfare, we chose to keep our rental car and drive in. The alternative was to call a taxi. Maggie was terrific in every way - knowledgeable, funny, bagged breakfast for the early start, extremely comfortable king-sized bed, large room. She made change for our night's stay and included a lovely note that we discovered in our bagged breakfast. The BnB next door served food and drinks and she coordinated our dinner time for us.
Cons: Arrive before dark to catch the gorgeous sunset over the water (which we missed). No complaints at all!

Pros: Was immaculately clean & tidy, huge comfy room, bed & bathroom. Beautiful 350yo building with the perfect view. Delicious breakfast, thanks Maggie for that along with your welcoming persona & such a great insight to both the house & area. Would love to come back! ......11/10

Pros: The location was stunning, Debbie and Bob were very accommodating and the B&B was beautiful. We had a lovely time and look forward to returning in the future.
Cons: Not the fault of the B&B, but local electric car charging facilities were poor - neither rapid charger in Stranraer was working. It would have been great to have a 7kW Type 2 charger at the B&B so we could top up overnight.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and nice outlook/location The food was a hit or miss first night, but improved. Breakfast was very good.

Pros: Staff excellent, food excellent . Nothing a problem for the staff, really helpful and friendly, bed comfortable. The whole ambience of hotel is great. Will be back .
Cons: Shower could have been better, not a lot of pressure, washhand basin on top of cistern not very handy to use
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff and management were all very helpful and welcoming. There was always time for some chat with customers while maintaining a very high standard of service. The hotel is charming, clearly of some age but very comfortable with excellent facilities. The location is ideal, quiet and rural without being remote; very central for many visitor attractions throughout west Dumfries and Galloway. The evening meals were first class with a well stocked bar and wine list. This hotel does not possess a spa, swimming pool, tennis courts, childrens' club or gym, what it does supply is exemplary service, very comfortable accommodation, and a welcome respite from the bustle of modern life.
Cons: Sadly, the menu didn't change for the three nights we stayed and, despite the variety of dishes available it would have been good to see what else the kitchen could produce. This is in no way a complaint, just an observation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room, excellent bathroom, food was good and staff were friendly and efficient
Cons: Nothing it was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent but staff so welcoming and helpful
Cons: Nothing but an explanation on how to work sky tv for the uninitiated would have been helpful
7.0 Good
Pros: Love the building
Cons: We have been coming to Torres Warren for over 13 years mostly while Jim & Cindy were the owners. we would get great service every time and excellent hearty food (Pub Meals) This time the hospitality was overall fair, the food however was a massive disappointment the menu is not aimed at the normal type of people who stay at your residence. the fact that no locals were eating there was a give away. I personally ended up with a kids burger and chips at full price, and if there had not been Chips & fish on the menu the rest of my party would have struggled to find something to order as well. the TV in the lounge room wasn't working but staff weren't interested in sorting the problem. we all ended up retiring early . on a good note the breakfast was excellent as usual but that wont be enough for us to return. This is a massive disappointment to us because we love the Torres Warren but I doubt we will return next year for our twice yearly trip to visit family.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Blinkbonnie was excellent. Great location, Friendly owners, exceptionally clean and breakfast great. We have already booked for next year and that says it all.
7.5 Good
Pros: The cleanliness. Unfortunately for me there was a strong smell of room freshner in our room which affected my breathing but at least there were windows to open but the smell still too strong. The bed had a protruding end of a few inches which was sharp... just at knee height .....as there was not much room to walk around the bed my husband knocked his knee twice on it and is now still in bed with a badly swollen knee .
Cons: To cut off the piece of wood protruding from the end of the bed so other guests won't knock themselves. The mattress could have been more comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely welcome, great breakfast, great location, comfy beds, would recommend

We tried the restaurant (twice) and it was excellent and would definitely recommend a visit whether you are staying there or just on a day out. The five course meals are great value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to return. Five star place.
