7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful beach, quiet place. The hotel is small and not many people. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The pool is small but clean with pleasantly warm water. Opposite the hotel is a small shop where you can buy water, beer, milk, etc. at normal prices.
Cons: The hotel only gives 500ml of water per person per day for free. Shampoo and shower gel gave one small bottle for two people sometimes did not replenish it at all, I recommend bringing your own. The worst of all, however, is the black color, which is painted all the furniture and equipment in the hotel. This color deserts and stains. You have to keep this in mind, for example, when opening the cabinet so that you do not have black color for your nails.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the Rooms. The Staff was very Friendly. The location is really good.
Cons: Affordable pick up from Airport maybe more appreciated.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location and sea views were really good.
Cons: Gym and elevators were under maintenance for the duration of our stay. As a result did not get a room on the top floor as per my original request when the booking was made.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, good facilities and services available (spa treatments).
Cons: Staff attenticeness could be better. Price of wines are ridiculously high.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beachis just beyond the hotel...so the look is amazing Q
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Check in to getting to the room took 45 minutes due to laziness by staff. Jacuzzi was not clean. Crockery provided was used and not clean. There was nothing to wash the crockery with. Staff was rude. People in neighboring room faced problem with toilet and staff didn't pick up their call and nobody was there in reception for 2 hours. When I asked for vegetarian options I was mocked at which shows unprofessionalism. No information brochure was provided in case I would need to contact reception or in case of emergency. Receptionist took my luggage to the room as their was no one else. Breakfast was cold and missed items which had tag displayed. No one was there to direct customers or help out in any case. Overall the service was very low, staff responsiveness was abysmal and the overall experience was very very bad. These guys need a refresher in hotel management course.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really friendly and helpful. The room had a great sea view, large terrace and all the basic amenities: fridge, kettle, coffee and tea, safe box. The nearby beach is great.
Cons: There was no complementary water, so we had to buy pretty expensive bottled water from the bar every day. The breakfast is good, but lack variety. The restaurant is a bit expensive and the nearest supermarket is 30 min walk via the main road which lacks a sidewalk.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We realy liked and enjoyed the pool with its view all over anse takamaka - especially in the evening, when the sky is colored by sunset. we used the couches a lot an relaxed whole day. This corner of the beach is a fantastiv snorkeling area. Also the breakfast with the view to the sea was exactly the right thing to start the day with. We only needed a car for 3 of 7 days to visit victoria, go on a hiking trail, b. vallon, visit the waterfall in the west of mahé and drove to the very south of mahé. the best and near spot which is also reachable by bus is anse forbans!!
Cons: They use a very loud generator to pump waste-water in to the sea from the staff-area where they wash towels and so on. It is not every day and just 1h or 2h but it's totally annoying sound, when you're about to relax in your room, during hot midday. We are easy guests and do not need much to be happy. we had a good time, but we recognized the same as other guests who wrote nearly the same about chez'.. It seemed if the personel was simply too busy or even not interesseted in offering you a pleasent stay. Everybody was friendly but in a strained way. Even if seychelles is no secret paradies anymore, I had the feeling that I didn't wanted to have in holiday: you're just a guest of thousands - so leave your money, have a nice stay and good by. Too bad for this wonderful place to be.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast in front of the sea, quiet area with beautiful sunset and "home"
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the balcony on which you could lie down and hear the waves right beneath you. The house is also beatifully situated in a lovely little bay. There is a breakfast buffé and although it isn't very big I found it satisfying. The pancakes were nice, you could have an omelette and although the fruit may have been canned I still liked their taste.
Cons: I thought there would be only two senior suites and was VERY disappointed when I saw that our suite did not have a wall of windows that was shown in the pictures (our room nr was 16). But when I saw the big balcony outside the suite I got over my disappointment quite quick. The room itself was a bit dark even if there were a few windows.
6.0 Good
Pros: The team was kindly. Everybody very friendly in Takamaka.. like a big family. There is some turtle here, and its interesting. If you dont like to sunbathing and swim, its a perfect place to resting... The rocks the place is really photoful! They have a bus station near to the road and its easy to use the public transport... good choice to make a journey from here.
Cons: The beach was dirty not like in the photos. A lot of natural, green things was here. ... and there are plastic bottles and other trash.. day by day.. nobody pick up.. nobody clean... Here its hard to go into the water because the waves are big, but maybe we dont had a luck with the weather... The wi-fi is horrible. Work only near the reception and you can use 3 times about 10 tries! If you had... 50 kbyte/sec.. The nearest market is 20 minutes in foot. Here the drink and food is very expensive but the tasty not so exclusive.. If you stay here it will be good to rent a car.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great hotel which definitely jusitifies its five star rating. Rooms are very big, comfortable, and extremely quiet - we managed to have a very relaxing stay indeed. They are also well supplied with coffee, mineral water (I found it really tasty), and first class shampoos from Salvatore Ferragamo. The bed is very comfortable. The service is excellent - fast, precise, and non-obtrusive. The beach is great, so is the pool. The hotel is also very secure (there is a guarded private road leading to it). The restaurants are not cheap (which is to be expected) but I have to say that I had the best grilled tuna fish in my life there. Breakfast is great with many different options, including local jams and fruits. Best of all, however, are the Ladies In Red. Lavinia and Victoria were extremely knoledgeable and helpful and responded quickly to all our requests and questions. They give to the resort that little extra special thing. Thanks!
Cons: Nothing negative to say, really - it was a great stay. One of the lamps did not function properly and there was a small leak from the humidifier but these were quickly solved.
6.7 Good
Pros: Beach, sea, beach bar. Turtles have (compared to others on the island) nice space and is well cared for. The restaurant in the adjacent forest is very unusual I recommend to try it at least once.
Cons: Too many people. If you want to have a nice place by the sea you must occupy the chairs before breakfast. The upholstery of furniture in our room smelled of musty.
7.0 Good
Pros: The setting is incredible.
Cons: The staff were nice but inflexible and not especially accomodating. They could not offer change for my $100 because Kempinski "doesn't have a banking license" which sounded absurd. They offered us late check out the day before our intended check out date but on the day we were told we had to check out at the normal time. I couldnt sign F&B to the room because I hadn't opened my credit card apparently, which no one asked me to do at check in and the waiter seemed all too happy to announce audible to the surrounding tables. No one thing was bad it was simply a collection of "4 star" level guest services that really made me wonder why am I paying €600 per night, other than having booked late it seems an unjustifiably high price for the service offered. The location is great but service was mediocre.
7.1 Good
Pros: Amazing location and great staff!!
Cons: Property out of date and fairly overpriced. Little quality entertainment
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort is very nice, the beach is calmer than other places on the island. The resort is more family oriented, but overall very nice. Clean and beach is incredible and calm, good for snorkeling. Definitely recommend walking all along the beach.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding in every respect
Cons: Tea/Coffee service slow at Breakfast the first couple of days. I made an observation to Reception and it was rectified immediately. Couldn't ask for better
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, amazing breakfast and overall atmosphere. Very nice beach. Great Kids Club, very friendly for small kids
Cons: The lighting in the room not enough. A good reading lamp could have helped. The room and vicinity was not always clean enough.

Pros: My daughter and myself found it most enjoyable. Especially the close Family atmosphere between the Staff and Guest's.... especially the following Staff we met, sorry we didn't get their Surname's but would hopefully think you could thank the following for the EXCELLENT Customer Care and Attention - Paul [the Owner's son], Tappas, Remi, John, and the ever singing and smiling Housekeeper Patricia. They have given us a extremely memorable stay. Everything about the Hotel is just PERFECT, the beautiful idyllic location and general atmosphere. I haven't enough adjectives to praise Crown Beach Villa. Thank You for making our holiday in Paradise an unforgettable one. Hope to visit again soon, it will be like seeing "Old Friends" again. Delicious refreshing Cocktails - The Best Pinocoladas I've tasted...
Cons: Having to say goodbye, to what we will always consider as Paradise on Earth and, our now dear Friend's at the Crown Beach...

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic setting built up a mountain overlooking the very beautiful Baie Lazare. Very good quality rooms, very nice staff, and excellent breakfast.
Cons: The power supply was quite unstable. Every day or night we had a power failure - sometimes for a couple of hours.
7.9 Good
Pros: Amazing views from the rooms.. The best in our Seychelles trip.. The beach is very nice... Although the 2 days we stayed. The sea . was unusually little rough.. Otherwise excellent beach right next to property.. The steep walk up the hill..if you are with kids... can get a little challanging... However once you are up.. the views are spectacular...
Cons: The hotel is getting little old and requires some upgrades.. Specially in washrooms.. Wifi signals not strong enough to reach the room we stayed in... So we had to goto lobby to use internet
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast necessary only, but ok. Nice location - good beach nearby. car is necessary to have.
Cons: could have been a restaurant with a narrow but good menu.
9.2 Excellent

Cons: Steep hill up to breakfast room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are extremely helpful.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We had gone there to celebrate a surprise birthday for my daughter's 21st birthday, had ordered for cake and asked if they could have some balloons, they made us extremely happy with the pink deco, champagne(which was on the house) and a very yummy moist utterly delicious strawberry cake, far exceeded our expectations. They went out of the way to decorate and make it beautiful, my daughter was utterly surprised when she entered and found all this immaculately done, thank you Parveez. The cake was from Pauline, Popos bakery very delicious.
Cons: The breakfast was a little disappointing, the bread was constantly out and had to wait for refills. Baked beans and sausages could be added, specially with kids, we need more options.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We liked the view from our room, seaview from bed, big balcony. Breakfast was good, lot of fruits. Staf were realy helpful and friendly. The rooms are separed houses.
Cons: If you want the view you have to climb:) The road to the hotel is a bit steep and there is a staircase to the rooms.
7.1 Good
Pros: Spaceous room. Bed ok to sleep. Hot shower. AC works. Location peaceful, beach close by.
Cons: No other food available than breakfast - when the nearest restaurant is closed, difficult to get food without a car. Nothing special but everything works. Expensive compared to quality and services. Friendly staff and nice cats.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The garden is quite pretty - plenty of different animals. It may be amusing if you have a small child which is my case. We were given some fruits from the garden which is a nice gesture. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: 1. We paid for the booking in cash in Seychelles Rupee and the booking was quoted in Euros. The owner calculated the price with very greedy exchange rate taken out of a thin air, so as a result we overpaid much just because we paid in local currency instead of Euros. When I calculated the booking value using the official exchange rate and asked the employee about the huge difference I didn't get a straight answer. 2. Additionally we had our return flight late in the evening so we asked if we could store our luggage until then because checkout was up to 10:00 AM and the owner said that they will not take the responsibility for our luggage unless we pay extra. I get the impression that the owner tries to squeeze every single penny out of their guests' pockets. 3. Oh, and there are these little, noisy dogs which just love to chase each other just in front of your apartment and bark during the night to make sure you don't get enough sleep. 4. The description of this object tells you that there is a beach (Anse La Mouche) only 10 minutes walk from the site and this is actually the truth. But what they forgot to mention is that there is no pavement and no roadside plus the road is quite busy and steep with going-like-crazy buses. We had a baby in a stroller so we decided to walk to the beach only once. Somehow we are still alive and in one piece.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was very helpful. The place is very nice, peaceful and quiet. Close to very nice and very different beaches which we liked - Grand Anse and Fairytale Beach (if you rented a car).
Cons: Welcome fruit only included some bananas.
7.9 Good
Pros: The people who run the place are really amazing. They are very helpful and kind. They knew we were on our honeymoon and decorated the room very nicely and even had a present for us on top of the welcome package.
Cons: The location is in a beautiful place, near beautiful beaches but is only reachable by car. I'm not sure if there was a bus line as well. Anyway, the road is narrow and steep so be careful, especially in the dark.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff especially jackline. Beautiful garden and farm, friendly dogs.
Cons: Pool size could have been larger.
