10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was just perfect! Nathalie and Cyril were such welcoming and friendly hosts and took really good care of us. Very spacious room with privacy, the beds were very comfortable. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, with a lot of taste. The room was very clean. The garden was amazing! Every corner of the property was a sight. Breakfast was delicious. Had a fantastic stay! Can’t find anything to pick on. Highly recommended!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful environment with a large garden, lovely pin trees and pool. I enjoyed the configuration of the mazets, very private. Only a few KMs away from St-Remy. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again at this property.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just wonderful, hard to find any minus/negatives, only that we could not stay longer and that water in the swimming pool was colder due to "mistral";) But to name few things we really enjoyed: quiet and nice rooms, own terrace, superb breakfast but first of all super nice staff. In reality the place was much more nice than on photos.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a nice sets of indipendent houses (8, if I am not wrong) in a green "garden" with trees: the garden is well maintained. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and even if their english knowledge is limited they try to make you feel at home and understand your needs. The staff speaks french but the wife of the owner also speaks a bit of english and italian. They also have a good knowledge of the surronding and they will direct you to see the nearby cities. Our room was cleanly daily in a perfect way. The way you need to follow to get to the reception is filled with small pebbles so even if it raining there are no problems in reaching your car or the reception. The free parking area inside the compound is a welcome extra that I found really pleasant.
Cons: The location is a bit far away from the main route area and the city center: you definitely need a car (or a motorbike) if you are staying in this place. There are no attraction close to the hotel. Breakfast was fine but I still find it a bit expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, the breakfast the family who rund the place, everything was just perfect!
Cons: Nothing could’ve been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - from location to facilities, but particularly the flexibility of the maisonette with its excellent kitchen. Pool was great too.
Cons: the incessant noise of the cicadas but nothing can be done about that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Taxi service. Very difficult to explore the area if you didn’t rent a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, great breakfast, warm hosts, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, beautiful gardens, lovely pool. The hosts had great local knowledge and we wouldn’t have had the experience that we had without their guidance. Perfect stay and can’t wait to go back!
Cons: Nothing, all perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay, the room was clean and well laid out and the aircon was a blessing! Breakfasts were excellent and relaxed. The pool was ideal, part shaded and always clean. Overall a great experience!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We choose that B&B short notice, because we have been there 2 years ago. Quite, petit, hugh garden, high level of privacy, everything you need for selfservice you will find in the garden kitchen if you book a room. This time we booked an apartment, stylish, full / well equipped kitchenette with Microwave, Sanseo... We had our Nespresso...so perfect
Cons: Next time I would appreciate that the towels will be changed after 3 or 4 nights.
Hôtel La Bastide De Boulbon - Tarascon - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything. A truly beautiful hotel with pretty gardens and lovely pool. Excellent food, wines and service. Owners were warm and welcoming (with a great sense of humour!), and nothing was too much trouble. Every morning they sat down with us to help us plan our itinerary for the day and as a result we visited some wonderful places. Boulbon is a charming village and the locals in the bar and restaurants were also very welcoming. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
Cons: Having to leave!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love boutique hotels and we have had some great experiences worldwide but Jean and Marie Claire are by far the most congenial hosts we have ever encountered. The entire hotel simply feels welcoming. The gardens, where breakfast and dinner are served, are amazingly serene. The rooms immaculate. Great base for day trips around Provence. Be sure to ask Jean for his tour ideas! Very very highly recommended.
Cons: In a smaller village so only one restaurant, other than the hotel’s, in walking distance. But an easy 20 minute ride to Avignon’s hundreds of restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The house and grounds are beautiful, the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is good. Loved it!
Cons: The air conditioning was too efficient, it was either on and very cold or off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was perfect! From the most friendly and hospitable owners to the cleanest suits. We were surprised by the fact that the owners run the hotel themselves, the nicest people who helped us and did answer all our question. We highly recommend you to stay at the hotel restaurant for a dinner, here we had the most delicious fois gras at beef tartar we have ever tasted, wine was extraordinary as well! Not to mention, the breakfast we had here was amazing as well, we were asked what we wanted to eat and all our requests were satisfied perfectly. Moreover, the architecture and the nature of the hotel deeply impressed us, the most relaxing and beautiful atmosphere you can ever imagine. This was our first and definitely not last stay at La Bastide de Boulbon! We higly recommend you to stay at La Bastide de Boulbon, if you want to fall in love with Provance! I would like to thank Jan&Marie-Claire for their warm welcome and the quality of the stay that they provide. It is the first time I am writing any recommendation and I am happy that my first one is for La Bastide de Bourbon. High quality, the best owners, beautiful Provance!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning setting with a lovely informal feel to the hotel, peaceful and the hotel is just beautifully decorated. The food & particularly the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The only thing I would suggest as a small improvement is to clean the pool with the pool cleaner in the morning & at night and remove some of the leaves during the day if required (there is a large tree above) but to remove the electronic pool cleaner as it just spoils the pool a little bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Claire and Jan provide a 5 star experience. 3 days in Provence left us wanting to come back! Would recommend to everyone!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing and so lovely with the pool in such hot weather. The rooms were clean, tidy and really well presented.
6.7 Good
Pros: Lovely property in nice quiet setting.
Cons: Not very hospitable. Owner was not at all attentive nor did he or his wife make any attempt or go out of their way to accommodate us. I guess being in the hospitality business means different things to different people.
6.7 Good
Pros: Hotel gardens were beautiful
Cons: There was limited sleep as the church bells a block away rang every hour, it was difficult to get any sleep.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Like staying with delightful old friends in their mansion - charming and friendly hosts that went beyond the call of duty to ensure our stay was memorable, from the personal attention to every meal to the helpful recommendations on where to visit nearby accompanied by hand-prepared maps. An elegant and restful experience.
Cons: Nothing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Croissants, pains au chocolat, french baguette jam, yoghourt and juices. Coffee and an impressive variety of teas. Worth it!
Cons: everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are a charming couple and gave us a very warm welcome. Our room was very tastefully decorated. A real plus was to have access to a communal kitchen area, enabling us to prepare our own meals rather than eat out every night, along with free teas and coffees when we wanted. There was a nice seating area outside and a decent pool. Arles, Nimes, Avignon, Pont du Gard and Les Beaux are all within easy reach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything! Cristophe and his wife were very nice to us. They welcomed us last minute at night time and gave us great tips to visit the region. The room is super comfy and high quality furnished. We slept stupendous! On top of that, there is a kitchen available fully furnished. The location is nice, very "provence", but only accessible by car. Breakfast was good too. Highly recommended.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Delightful place and lovely family. Close to Arles, Nimes and Avignon
Cons: Nothing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and kind host. We had ground room which was really nicely decorated and exit to the garden is a plus We really liked breakfast. But for sure the best thing is common area where kitchen is. Is such a lovely place to hang out and to met with other guests. B&B is also good located to explore nearby attractions.
Cons: Place is not so easy to find in the evening. There could be some sign already at the main road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast . There was also a small kitchen to prepare own meals if wished.
Cons: Wifi was slow at times and oftenlost connection for short periods but this is a rural location and can be expected.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner, spacious room, good breakfast. Swimming pool area looks nice although we did not use it. Easy parking.
Cons: Next to a busy road so you can hear cars and trucks passing by quite well.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice b&b. We had the double room with garden entrance. The room was very nicely decorated and had good working a/c. The swimming pool was nice, and as it is not a big hotel we had it for ourselves most of the time. We did not realize in advance that we could use the communal kitchen so that was a nice surprise for us. It is equipped with everything that you need and there is an indoor and outdoor seating area. Breakfast was good and fresh. The owners are lovely and the place is super clean. The location is good, within 30 min driving distance of arles, nimes, pont du gard etc.
Cons: The double room is well suited for couples, but as the bathroom is kind of an open concept and the bed a bit small not so much for friends traveling together. As we are a couple it did not bother us and I actually liked the open concept. The reason we are not giving a 10 is that the toilet was not so comfortabel, it was quite low (which was okay for me but not so much for my 2m long husband) and the seat was loose.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet place for a good night of rest in a business trip to the region. The owner very helpful with practical tips and friendly. The room was excellent and I enjoyed my stay.
Cons: Getting the invoice is not easy. Breakfast does not include any cooked meal (eggs for example).

Pros: Nice apartment, very beautiful garden, very good breakfast! Jean Paul is great, helpful; he gave us good recommendation for visiting. Excellent! I highly recommend
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay and visit Le Provence. It is at short distance to the most interesting places to visit. We are a family with 2 children and spent 3 days. We definitely would come back and recommend it to friends. Our accomodation at Mas Ferrand was very well equipped and clean (room, bath and kitchen). Everything was new and high standard. The garden was beautiful and our kids did really enjoyed it. It was rich of fragrant from many different kind of plants, flowers and trees. The petit dejeneur was delicious and a tasteful provenzal experience. Our host, Jean Paul, is an excellent advisor to design any excursion in the area. We had some plans in advance but decided to follow his advise because he has a great local expertise and can design off the track tourist routes.
Cons: I did not really find anything disapppointing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast including fruit, cheese, meat, giant croissants and breads. Central location - perfect for visiting many parts of Provence. Our very knowledgeable host provided us with maps if needed.
Cons: It was perfect for our needs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a fantastic guy. Every day he suggeted us a very good trip, so it was easy to explore the area. The breakfast is abundant. The bed is comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely property in a small village which is central to many areas of interest. Jean-Paul is a wonderful host with a wealth of information about the places to see and provides easy directions to get there. The breakfast is fabulous with a variety to suit everyone. We also enjoyed a glass( or 2) of champagne with him, Simone and Rosa Ilia. The gardens are lovely to relax and enjoy the sunshine. There are also many wonderful restaurants which Jean-Paul recommended and booked for us. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast. Friendly, knowledgeable host. Great location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful and tranquil.
Cons: I like everything about this home .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about this place. The location was ideal for one day trips to Avignon, Arles or Luberon villages. Rooms were renovated and designed with taste and care. Lofts have huge windows facing a pretty garden with beautiful old trees. Breakfast was really good, fresh every day, exactly what we expect French breakfast to be like. The owner is very pleasant, every morning he helped us plan our trips and gave some useful tips and recommendations. He also shared a bottle of delicious Champagne with us and another guest one evening, which was a nice gesture. The village itself is very quiet (which is great!) and there aren't many options for dinner, so recommend to eat somewhere else.
Cons: There is nothing that we wouldn't like. I am a very light sleeper and I heard a water dripping from the tab in the shower in our loft - maybe this could be fixed. But there is nothing else really.

Pros: Wonderful Provencal-style hotel surrounded by vineyards and cypresses, which stand on candles on the cake. We arrived tired and did not order a previous restaurant so that their good administrator arranged a romantic dinner with candles and music. It was unforgettable! Thanks! The area is very well maintained and beautifully decorated, a lovely garden and a large swimming pool. The breakfasts are fantastic! You can buy a variety of decor that is made by yourself, very beautiful. Thanks come again!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the room next to the pool. An amazing view and holiday feeling. They offered a very varied breakfast with lots of fruits.
Cons: The showers had a curtain to close them off, but that doesn’t keep the water from fludding the bathroom floor. But that was just a minor issue in our overall awesome stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. When we found out that we would be late from the normal check-in time, we call the team and they were really kind and happy to wait for us. We stayed in a twin room beside the pool, the view is stunning. They have AC in the room which is super important in the summer time. The breakfast was also excellent. Plenty of drink choice. Overall, we’ve been spoiled by this hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, felt like an apartment versus a hotel room, cleanliness, privacy, secure parking area!
Cons: No microwave and had issues locking the door. Bring house shoes, floors are cold. GPS doesn‘t get you there based on address in reservation- call hotel.

Pros: Delightful hotel with a beautiful garden plus parkland. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Staff is helpful. Location is some distance from Beaucaire, no restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
7.5 Good
Pros: We were given a nice apartment with a full kitchen. Very quiet area. Good bed.
Cons: Had to clean out the rubbish in the kitchen bin and clean all the dishes. We didnt really mind, but it’s a bit off putting for guests. Lots of rules about leaving the apartment clean or you will be charged.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a nice room up the steps in an old winery. There was a large courtyard with chairs to sit and barbeque facilities and interesting artwork. The pool looked nice, but the weather was too cool for us at the time. Very nice breakfast. Very helpful receptionist as we spoke no French.
Cons: Rolling the suitcases from the car park to the room went over a distance of loose gravel, making it more difficult than it had to be. A solution would be to lay a path of flat paving stones for the luggage. Off the main road about 1 km. but turn was clearly posted by a sign. Keep a sharp eye out for it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Unique and excellent property. Beautiful gardens and groves. Lovely pool. Great food on site.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Domaine Des Clos takes the first place in my travel list "must visit at least 2 times more". 10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for three nights as we toured the area. The hotel is close to so many of the places we wanted to visit; St Remy, Arles, Avignon, Nimes, all within 15 miles or so. This is a clean, comfortable hotel with a friendly, helpful host. We had the breakfast each day and it was very good with cheese, yogurt, cold cuts, and cereal added to the usual croissant and baguette. We loved that we could get extra coffee and we also enjoyed talking with the other guests staying at the hotel.
Cons: Although the beds are double beds, as most in France are, we would have enjoyed a queen size bed. The double bed was quite comfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our room had a large terrace/balcony, which had a view to the lively street. After the long car ride it was a pleasure to have some wine in the sun. Our host was very helpful in every way. He recommended a restaurant Tailles de Bon close to the hotel, and it was really superb. It was a pity, that we were the only clients in Hotel de Provence.

Pros: Both (Pascal and Florence) were very friendly and we are happy that we could stay in this marvelous place. Open garden with Olive, Apple trees and vineyard are simply breathtaking. Also Petrus was really funny :-)
Cons: The bungalov was not in the best shape, mainly the Bathroom. But nothing serious, just that person automatically expects in this place the top notch quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this place and everything was perfect. The Domaine is very beautiful and relaxing. Our room was huge and very nice. Breakfast was very good. Finally the owners were so nice that was such a pleasure to stay a couple of days in this lovely place
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location and facilities were excellent. The host and hostess are marvelous. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage which is well stocked. The property, with its olive groves, was very nice for walking.
Cons: The only problem was that we were there in May during a wet time of year and it was a touch damp. There was heating to take the chill off, but the cinder block building promotes moisture.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional hosts and beautiful property.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The area is absolutely beautiful, very friendly and warm hosts.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The grounds is beautiful and wide. Surrounded by olive trees that produce some of the best oils in the region. The 2 bedrooms bungalow was just what we needed with young children - sufficient space, a kitchenette, away from the main house so we were less worried about noise. The pool, the AC... The owners and staff are very friendly and relax.
Cons: The bathroom could do with an upgrade.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Last minute booking - couldn’t have been more welcoming even though we arrived after 9pm! Wonderful room, perfect hospitality - we will be back.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the charm of the homestead and our beautiful room. The friendliness of our hosts and the peaceful surroundings. The pool and table tennis provided fun entertainment and a chilled glass of Rose as the sun set capped it all off.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fantastic!! Very cosy and adorable place hidden in olive trees, with fantastic people taking care of each guest. We truly felt like a part of the family there and were enjoying every minute spent in Domaine de Fontbelle. The owners were also our guides through Provence attractions and tastes and recommended us magic restaurants and places that you won't find in tourist guides (but which help you to discover and love Province). We found Domaine de Fontbelle a charm place with no crowds, silence, wonderful view and a family ambiance and care that makes you want to stay and get back. Mornings and breakfasts in the garden or on the patio deserve another story - fresh salad made of garden fruits, home made olive oil that makes you cry because it is soooo good; and.. cicadas, cicadas sound everywhere :) We loved it and miss that place already and hope to return.

7.1 Good
Pros: We were there for the Avignon festival so everything was more expensive, but I found the price of the hotel a bit too much in comparison with the quality! The hotel is located near a big street, kinda motorway, in an industrial area! Not super nice! Once we were inside it was more cost luckily, but it looks a bit like an American motel from the movie! The room was clean, but tiny! breakfast was excluded and if you want jut a coffee you need to wait until the breakfast time is finished! The wellness centre is nice, but for summer time you don’t really wanna spend time inside and the swimming pool is covered! Might be nice in winter!
Cons: The free private parking! The shower! The big TV!

Pros: The property had a great location far away from major roads, in a quite and secluded area, however it was not hard to find. It is very peaceful and tranquil. Facilities are nicely arranged, very cozy and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Room was a bit too small. Bedding sheets felt dump, which felt uncomfortable for a good sleep.

7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, great swimming pool, good location (with a car) to visit both Arles and the Alpilles area. Clean if basic room. Breakfast buffed looked generous (though I only cared for coffee).
Cons: TV was not working; not that I cared to spend time in the room to watch it, so no big deal for me, but still... Shampoo & shower gel mini-bottles not replaced through 4 night stay, frankly a cheap way to save on running costs.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Poor breakfast buffet, very old building and rooms not well maintained, only the swimming po was large and pleasant.
7.9 Good
Pros: The grounds, dining room and pool area are lovely. Room was comfortable and quiet. Totally satisfactory.
Cons: Our dinner was not good. The duck breast was huge. Must have been from a goose! No one person could have eaten it all. The hamburger was swimming in blue cheese. Just not a good meal at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient base to visit Arles and the Alpilles region. Nice to have a big swimming pool to freshen up those super-hot summer days. Staff is very kind and welcoming. Breakfast is pleasantly set with access to a vast terrace.
Cons: The rooms are clean but could use some freshening up. If you need a desk to work, well, you won't find it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. We dined in the restaurant and the choice and quality of the food was excellent
Cons: Nothing

The numerous flies in our room and the breakfast room during meals times. The expectation created via the internet was not met. Breakfast was very sparse and did not meet our dietary requirements. Our room was not serviced on any of the 4 days we were there. In fact, we had to request towels on occasions.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and room to put our cycles. Good value for money.
Cons: The route to the hotel was very poorly signposted which made finding it unnecessarily difficult and eventually frustrating. There were no restaurants within an easy walk which meant we had to go without s meal after a long cycle ride which was less than ideal. Finally there was no chocopain at breakfast unlike every Ibis Budget I’ve ever stayed in which was s pity because breakfast was otherwise good. In creating this review the website was very slow.
