Breakfast and the young lad who works there
We had a luxury room the bed was awful everytime you moved it creeked and uncomfortable ,pillows horrendous room needs and update the food was below standard and overpriced the breakfast was the nicest part if the break the place needs a refurb we arrived to a wedding going on it's more for locals not many seats in the bar ordered steak medium which was raw in the middle it came with chips and a mushroom nothing else £ 18 I got half if it refunded we don't normally complain but for that price we did
Friendly staff, good location. Great breakfast.
First room we was given was dirty but was immediately upgraded to a better room. All members of staff were excellent and help as much as they could.
Unfortunately the tv in the bed room didn’t work and all senior members of staff were to busy to sort it out.
waiting staff helpful and cheerful. outside area good. Evening meals were ok, the home made soup was especially
Dining room and bar carpets were dirty. Our bedroom was dark, too dark to read after darkness. no evidence of a manager. looked for a member of staff when checking out, couldn't locate anyone. The the breakfast waiter told us it was the first time he had done the early shift and apologised for the silence as he was unable to work the music system. The presentation of the breakfast was poor. It appeared that cereals and other items had just been thrown on the bar for guests to help themselves to. New tea bags had just been squashed into a dirty old box. The evening menu was the same every night. On the last morning I had the Welsh breakfast, which was poorly presented. On arrival the information leaflets for the area were scattered over the table and remained like that for the next few days, when we left.
Great place with very friendly staff, would certainly recommend. Room very comfortable, great food an amazing breakfast.
