10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place, view and food are awesome!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, didn’t expect it to be that cozy and beautiful. The staff was really kind. I would definitely consider staying again there in the future.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay at Casa Del Guamuchil. The staff were so kind and helpful and the setting is beautiful. Our room was really comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast on the terrace was great and we had the pool to ourselves most of the time.
Cons: The only problem that we encountered was that we were making the booking from the UK. There is a required deposit that is needed to be made via transfer and a transfer costs 50 pounds to make from bank accounts in the UK to Mexico. This extra cost meant that we wanted to cancel the booking however, there was no option to cancel so we had to make the transfer at a cost to us. I would say that it is really inconvenient because of this. Unless you have a Mexican account that allows you to transfer, it is not possible without an additional charge to us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people is extremely helpful and caring, we never felt we missed anything, they served for us the whole time, great view, not crowded at all and amazing environment full of nature and peace.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Bed is comfortable and room is recently renewed. A/C is new and TV as well. Great Terrace with good view to the lake. Hotel Administrator-Receptionist-Accountant-Bell boy-Valet Parking is a nice guy :-)
Cons: Hotel is quite old. Certainly in the 80s it was a great accommodation! Restaurant does not look so clean. Free breakfast is a myth since it costs 25 MXN each. Expensive menu. Rate vs amenities does not represent cost-benefit.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is traditional Mexican breakfast. The fries (papas) are THE BEST. So good. The food at the restaurant is really good in general, we had most of our meals there. The view over the lake is just outstanding.
Cons: A bit too expensive but still fine, because it is a really nice hotel. There is no refrigerator in the rooms though but the rooms in general are really nice and I think they all are located so that you have a stunning view over the beautiful lake. Remember that you pay per person and not for the room, so if you have someone else staying over they will ask you to pay for the stay of that person too. No one in the staff speaks English. There is no ATM close so don't forget to withdraw cash before your trip because you have to pay 15 % tip in cash each time you go for breakfast. Also, without a car or taxi it is impossible to get a around and taxi drivers only accept cash. The closest ATM is like 20-30 minutes away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool area is very nice!
Cons: The beds are too hard
9.6 Excellent

6.7 Good
Pros: The food was very good but a bit expensive
Cons: The rooms were very small and they looked old, the bathrooms smelled awful

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Awesome view and location, excellent staff attitude, good special dinner for the national holiday
Cons: Facilities inside the room, there are no shelves for bath items inside the shower. The shelf below the mirror is to tiny. The air conditioner only has one temperature setting.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was great right in the beginning of the lake. the room view was very nice, and we had a terrace and a sitting area. staff was attentive and courteous. The hotel being right in the lake makes it great to enjoy the water activities.
Cons: Hotel is way too dated and in dire need of refurbishing. The water in the pool was turbid and was not heated, except for a small section on the end, which for obvious reasons was too crowded to enjoy. The food in the restaurant was coffee shop quality at five star prices, definitely not worth it, but there are no alternatives. The bottle of water in the room had an outstanding price of $49.00 pesos. Hotel needs to pay more attention to pest control, as there are plenty of mosquitoes all around.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Great view.
Cons: Dirty old facilities bad showers in desperate need of black out blinds.
6.7 Good
Pros: The pool area was comfortable, and the hotel has nice views of Tequesquitengo Lake.
Cons: The hotel is comfortabl3, but the facilities look super old. Need some improvement ASAP.

3.3 Mediocre

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the excellent view over the lake , the cleanness and excelent air conditionning
6.3 Good
Pros: Very old
5.0 Okay
Pros: the best is the view around the hotel. If you have a room which has a balcony to the lake, it is amazing. But for 125 US Dollar per night, it is not acceptable.
Cons: No WIFI in all the rooms. WIFI just available in the breakfast/dinner area. Also all the old furniture and air conditions should be replaced with new ones
Hotel Los Angeles - Tequesquitengo - Bedroom
7.8 Good (177 reviews)
C$ 101+

7.5 Good
Pros: The staff at Hotel Los Angeles were friendly and responded very quickly to our request for maintenance (a window wouldn't shut), extra towels, and a taxi. Our spacious room had A/C, which worked very well, and the mattresses were surprisingly comfortable. We really enjoyed going down to the open air restaurant, which overlooks the lake and a nice grassy area with plenty of chaise lounges and tables with umbrellas. It was fun to watch the young kids swing on the rope swing into the lake. The included breakfast is ordered off a menu--loved the huevos a la mexicana.
Cons: The road is pretty rough getting to the hotel, but maybe all the roads around the lake are like that. The bedspread was really old with holes in the backing. Neighboring guests were pretty loud outside our room at night. Staff could be a little more forthcoming about the activities the hotel offers--they didn't tell us anything about the boat, the kayaks, the jetski, or other nearby offerings. But like I said in the title, I'd go back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: People at the hotel were kind and atent
Cons: I liked everything

5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff is extra friendly and helpful.
Cons: There is no AC only fan and is not enough for the heat in the place. Couldn’t get to sleep because the room was very hot. The pools were dirty even when no people was using them.
5.8 Okay
Cons: I requested 2 rooms with view to lagoon and they did not have them. There was no hot water at my room. They couldn't give me a receipt.
7.5 Good
Cons: The place had cracks on the walls. you can hear absolutely everything from your room
7.9 Good
Cons: No internet in the rooms
7.1 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The Service and food in restaurant
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bedrooms/ bed was great and the service of all the people aswell
Cons: The water on the pools was cold
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This hotel DOES NOT have AC. I didn't see that, and the 1st room I got was too hot. The staff were WONDERFUL in helping me and switching me to a better room, which was bigger, at no extra charge. I was attending a MTB event and the official hotel (which was half a block away) was more than double the price... also without AC.
Cons: The restaurant service is very bad. Actually, I didn't get to taste the food, because they told me upfront it would take them ONE HOUR to give me service, because they had 2 other services ahead. And they open until 8:30 AM. If it's hot weather, DO NOT stay at the four hundreds rooms. They are underneath an artificial football court and they are AN OVEN.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: Property should not be on booking. Dirty rooms, rust in bathrooms, towels with holes, pool hasn't been cleaned for a while - bugs floating around. No air conditioning, very loud fan. We ordered breakfast, something simple, unfortunetly poor quality with no flavor. This hotel still has a lot of work to do before they can offer their rooms to guests. !
6.7 Good
Pros: It's very clean. The location and price is not bad. Staff was very nice to us.
Cons: The hotel is not fancy at all. It's very clean but you can hear everything through the window. The door and window of the room is "cheap" and ugly. It has the basics that you need to sleep.
