The nashville airport is confusing to get in and out of. I forgot to put gas in the car and traffic was so backed up at the airport that I could not go get gas once I was in line at the airport. There was no number to call at the rental desk to let them know I was going to be 10 minutes late. I ended up paying $10 a gallon. Left me with a bad taste overall.Reviewed 25 Jun. 2022

We reserved a Ford Focus for 3 people driving 2 days and we were immediately told there was no such bar available. We were told there were tiny Chevy Parks available but the woman offered us a Ford Escape as an 'upgrade' and we had to pay more for this. She gave us her discount which lowered the cost, but this is such a poor service where you reserve a car and then it's just not available. Why have a reserve service if its not guaranteed? Signage for car pick up at BNA was unclear. Also, there was no Thrifty staff at drop-off and Hertz staff did not seem to even know this. Overall, however, the car was fine.Reviewed 28 Nov. 2021

The associate at the counter was so upset I didn’t buy extra coverage. He didn’t tell me how to pick up or return my car - when I asked he kind of gave me some information that was not helpful at all- didn’t mention that keys were in the car and I just had to walk to number written on my envelope nor that when I dropped off I left keys in car and wrote all information on contract and dropped off in a box. I wasn’t told about extra airport taxes - $3 difference- no biggie but still he couldn’t explain why he was charging me more than I was quoted here. The SUV was as promised for 7 people but it smelled of cigarette smoke heavily. It was clean though. It was an easy process actually if it had been explained by the associate at the front desk. Scare tactics don’t work and then throwing a tantrum isn’t helpful either when one says no to all scary scenarios.Reviewed 15 Nov. 2021
