10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Lupaia is perfection.
Cons: Nothing.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was breathtaking.
Cons: The swimmingpool was very cold. We could not swim in the pool because it was too cold. Also we reserved a picnick lunch at a specific time but when we came on time it wasn’t arranged so we could not do the picnick anymore because of our timeschedule. And another dissapointment was that the day of check-out we had to leave at 12:00 and couldn’t use any facillities of the hotel because there was a wedding planned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this boutique hotel was breathtaking. From the largest details (like the pool, the views, the restaurant) to the smallest details (names of rooms, decor, service), this hotel exceeded all of my expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service. Delicious food and wine. Stunning views and atmosphere. Just perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upon our arrival at Lupaia we were offered a glass of wine while our luggage was delivered to our room. We were then given a tour of the property. The original building, built in 1622, has been turned into a luxury retreat. We stayed in a deluxe room with our own private garden and walkway. The staff was wonderful, everyone from the cleaning staff to management. The food was fabulous, make sure you experience dinner at least one night during your stay. From the back of the property, by the infinity pool, you can view the small village of Montefollonico and from the front terrace you can view the wonderful hilltop village of Montepulciano. A beautiful, beautiful resort. Would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Pros: This place is spectacular. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with direct views to Montepulciano. The pool facilities are beautiful. Dinner was just delicious, even better in quality compared to good and recommended restaurants of the area, and the ambiance was also great. The staff is super helpful and professional.
Cons: A little bit on the expensive side, although It,s definitely worth the extra money. We stayed at a similar place in the following days which was a bit cheaper, but Lupaia was significantly the better option.

We are very grateful that this place exists and thank Fabio and Suzanne for all their hard work.

Pros: Everything! The Staff were just so friendly (including the Wine Bar and Restaurant). The Hotel itself is just the most beautiful place and we loved sitting by the pool and relaxing. You could have spent a week just at the hotel relaxing.
Cons: The internet wasn't fantastic. It kept dropping in and out and you had to log on each time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is outstanding, from the beautiful landscape to the amazing staff that provides the best experiences guests could have. I should mention Santa, Jada, Sasha, Sandra, Herminia, the sweetest concierge and all the boys from the restaurant By Johnny! A must go!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Unbelievably beautiful, authentic and well preserved Tuscan property. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about area recommendations for food, etc. The pool is heavenly and I could walk the grounds all day. The meal at the hotel restaurant was by far the best we had in Tuscany, which was a surprise to both my husband and me having eaten at a number of well known and highly reviewed places throughout our trip before and after. This one on the other hand doesn’t even show up on a google map search so we couldn’t find reviews! From the gorgeous ambiance to the elegant food to the incredibly attentive staff, we felt like we were experiencing the version of Italy only created through the magic of movies and set designers :-) My husband is vegetarian and I am pregnant, so we also only ordered from a select portion of the menu — all delicious and perfect for what we wanted. Even so, upon hearing of our dietary restrictions, the chef surprised us multiple times with off menu creations we didn’t order to make us feel so welcome and cared for...and the restaurant was full that evening so he certainly didn’t have the time to spare! We are so grateful for our entire stay’s experience and can’t wait to be back.
Cons: The property is original so you have to keep in mind certain things are less updated. For instance, the bedrooms are beautiful but a bit tired compared to modern comforts you may be used to at brand new or majorly renovated properties. If I could wave a magic wand truly the only thing I’d change about the entire property is upgrading the hotel bedroom’s mattress to a true high quality mattress. And even if it isn’t updated by the time I have the pleasure of staying here again, I will still book this hotel in a heartbeat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Genuinely amazing old property that is charismatic and beautiful. Everything is still renovated up to modern standards respecting the history.
Cons: Wifi not good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is extremely beautiful. A great place to relax in a romantic atmosphere. The restaurant on the property also has an outstanding atmosphere and amazing food.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard for our taste. The service in the restaurant, where breakfast was served too, was very slow. During dinner, I asked for a glass of wine and when I wanted to know how much it cost, it took them half an hour to come back to me with the price. By then, I already finished my first course without any wine unfortunately. During breakfast, the bacon on the buffet had run out and I asked if they could bring some more. They told me it would take 5 to 10 minutes. After half an hour of waiting I finished my breakfast without bacon and left. It is a pitty, because the food and atmosphere in the restaurant were excellent.

Pros: The location is very nice with a nice view. There is a lot of free parking space. The restaurant is also very nice. Very professional staff. It's close to lovely towns like Montepulciano and Siena.
Cons: The one thing that could be better is the service at the pool. There is no permanent staff for ordering drinks at the pool. But you can always find someone of the staff and order something.
