8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location value and hospitality
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice enough building, but it's quite a walk into town
Cons: A potentially nice place totally ruined by miserable unfriendly staff. I was almost shouted at for sitting in the wrong place for breakfast (you can't sit next to the window with the nice view - weird, why have it?) which was completely unnecessary, the woman who checked us in/out was rude and made us feel unwelcome. The expensive breakfast is rubbish, don't bother. Seems strange to be in this kind of business if you're so bad at customer service
7.5 Good
Pros: Pleasant people and dining room. Good breakfasts. Good position and car parking.
Cons: No elevator for suitcases. Thin towels. Minimal bathroom lighting.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, wonderful food, a real find. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to our friends!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything: the view, the room, the breakfast, the staff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good.
Cons: I have no complaints.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Options were limited but normal for France. Food and coffee quite good.
Cons: Attitude of the staff and proprietor quite cold. A lot of high volume family conversation while guests having their meal. As though nobody was there... I expected my interactions to be friendlier.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The whole feel about the place.. Great staff, Food and Rooms
Cons: Unable to walk into the town 1k away

Pros: Everything! It was an amazing place to stay and faultless in every way.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was extremely accommodating. The place is very relaxing & tranquil
5.0 Okay
Pros: Only good things here were breakfast and view.
Cons: Do not trust the host's words! The place is located on cliff. Very hard to drive. Most important thing is that the host was very strange. He told me that since the village is safe, he "recommends" to walk to the center of the town at night (around 7pm). But as I walked to the town, I felt that it is very dangerous to walk because there is no place for people to walk on the road. And no lights. I was very scared. And the next day, the host's wife asked me why walking to the center when there is no light and no roads..... Another lie was that he told me that nice was safe and asked me where am I heading to. I talked to him about my trip and as soon as I arrived in Nice, I got robbed. My car was broken and all my belongings were stolen. I do not blame him, because it can be just coincidence but want to strongly recommend not to trust his words!

Pros: We loved the breakfast - homemade jams, wonderful meats and cheeses, loose leaf tea and excellent coffee! The property is very beautiful - wonderful views of the coast, beautiful flowers, and a relaxing pool to spend the afternoon at. We will absolutely recommend to friends and family!
Cons: We wish we could have experienced the Wednesday night homemade dinner. It was unclear to us at booking that this is only available on Wednesdays and we were very disappointed when we learned we could not participate in it due to our dates we were staying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Terrific setting surrounded by beautiful gardens and lovely panoramic views of the coastline. The facilities are very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the company of the hosts and loved the healthy and fresh breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Bleu Azur meets and exceeds all expectations for staying at a "villa" overlooking the Cote d'Azur. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with top of the line fixtures and bedding, etc. We thank the owners for going beyond the call of duty and helping (doing) some laundry for us as we were on the road each morning and returning late from Petanque competition.
Cons: The location was a little bit of a challenge to find but well worth it!! The town of Tourrette-sur-Loup is charming and full of great shops and restaurants without the crush of too many tourists.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding hospitality and wonderful food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Honestly everything was perfect! The villa was absolutely beautiful. The views, the pool, the bed and furnishings were SO comfortable! The breakfasts were outstanding (the best fresh squeezed orange juice I’ve ever had!). The hosts were the kindest, most helpful people! We LOVED it all!

6.0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Noise in room from hotel generators. No control of air conditioning Had to pack up and relocate to another room. Breakfast selection was limited. No fried eggs available which would be seen as standard elsewhere. Breakfast not value for money.

Pros: Loved everything, the hotel was simply amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I always liked it from almost 25 years ago . It is one of our favorite hotels in Europe
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice bedrooms and staff very friendly
Cons: Been charged 100 euros for 4 drinks in the bar Saturday night. We weren't offered a menu because if we had and seen the price of the drinks we would have left before ordering. The prices were ridiculous
9.0 Excellent
Pros: moody bar good view modern art location
Cons: expensive breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was pleasure being a part of beautiful historical place. Also breakfasts are incredible...
6.0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful wonderful staff and location location location. The rooms were well appointed and in a style that suited the hotel. The balcony was a great place to get a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were larger then most European hotel rooms and air conditioned which made it very comfortable in the August heat. The public areas and dining rooms were very comfortable and charming. Good business center with easy access.
Cons: The carpet in the halls made it hard to move luggage around and did not fit the period and style of the hotel. Some of the art didn't suit the hotel ambiance. The carpet in our room was very worn and old. The bathroom had chipped sharp tiles and had not been updated which was a little disappointing for the price point. We were also disappointed that no one informed of the beach facilities available.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast times good. Location Excellent. Room ok
Cons: Our friends in the next door had an enormous room, with 2 balconies and room to move! As I booked the 2 rooms together (superior double room) and paid the same we would of expected the same standard, but not so. Breakfast choice simple but good. Not enough tables for the amount of guests. Not able to sit with friends. Shortage of glasses, plates and tea bags! We chose to eat out for breakfast. When I made the booking it was on the basis that the hotel had a bar. The website and pics on booking.com shows "the bar" and states "Guests can also enjoy a drink in the hotel bar" We like to enjoy a night time drink in our hotel, and this was considered before I booked. When I asked were the bar was I was told they didnt have one! Then was told this was "being renovated" There was no evidence of this anywhere and when I asked they said we dont have a bar. If we had been advised at time of booking that there was no bar we would of chosen a different hotel. There is also no restaurant at this hotel. I am not complaining as I incorrectly assumed that a hotel of this standard would of had one! Not so.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The position of the hotel is great, in the real city centre, just 10 minutes from beach. Friendly staff. Breakfast O.K., but after one week a bit boring.
Cons: This hotel was a huge disappointment. First of all they promote rooms that don’t reflect a reality. We payed for Deluxe Room but we got Superior instead. Old one. Carpet was used and with two chewing gums on top, room smelled like cigarettes every single time we went in. Bathroom was old fashioned and exactly like on the pictures they promote for Superior rooms and not Deluxe. Room was definitely not Deluxe as they promote - we had to call to get slippers, bathrobes,... Coffee machine was not even there, just kettle. Even though we complained we never got one. Also wanted to change our room but hotel was full and when one room was free, we would have to wait again but we already had our trips planned ahead. Had to pay for Deluxe still. The worst part was system of closing the room. It never worked properly and we had to try many ways to lock our room every single time we left. Then one day we got back from our trip and even though we closed our room when we left, the door was opened! Probably somebody from housekeepingdidn’t closed it priperly. All day so if someone wanted, they could steal all our stuff since you can get in the elevator and halls from the street. This hotel is definitely not 4 star experience. 3 stars maybe. Definitely not 4.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, and the air conditioning worked wonderfully. Great location, close to lots of great shops and restaurants.
Cons: Our “king” bed was two twins pushed together, which I fell in between. Breakfast had a lot of choices, but many were gross. The scrambled eggs had a strange chemical aftertaste that I couldn’t tolerate. The airport shuttle we ordered was late, and when it arrived it wasn’t the right vehicle, which was too small to meet our needs. We had to wait for another shuttle to arrive, and when it finally did, we were told it would cost €20 more than we were quoted. Wow.
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient location. Close to everything.
Cons: Rooms are not soundproof. Noisy.
5.0 Okay
Pros: proximity to local transportation international channels
Cons: size of room was too small even for one person extremely loud at night rude employees!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very close to the Messena Place and the old town. Restaurants close by. Rooms are a decent size as far as French hotels go and for once the air conditioning actually worked. Staff spoke English and were helpful.
Cons: We were only at the hotel for a quick overnight stay and didn't arrive until 9:30 pm so we didnt spend a long time in the hotel. Had breakfast in a cafe in the market.
7.5 Good
Cons: Would have been nicer if staff were more friendly. Felt like any question asked was an extra task.

Pros: Great location on the promenade des anglais. Offers a discount to the private beach in front of it (20 eur vs 28). Clean. Rooms facing Water havw a breathtaking romantic view. Walking distance to all of the attractions in Nice. Velo bleu (bicyle rental) has stations very close to it.
Cons: Rooms are somewhat expensive. Private beach access not included. No free shuttle to and from airport (but #98 bus stops right in front of it and goes between airport and the Promenade for 6 euros).

Cons: Bathroom much too small difficulty having a shower
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, especially the senior Indian house manager who was exceedingly helpful, very courteous and respectful. Classy stylish hotel with excellent facilities. Outstanding location. Excellent value. Thoroughly recommend it. We will return
Cons: Breakfast room rather cramped. But excellent choice
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location, great views, a modern room (recently refurbished), nice bar and restuarant on site, helpful & friendly staff...a great location for a relaxing weekend in Nice.
Cons: Reception was a bit pokey, but I think that was partly due to them closing down part of the space because of the Coronavirus issues, so wouldn't be a typical set up. Otherwise, nothing to complain about!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is awesome, bus stop from airport is just next to it, you can hear the see from the room. We had a room with “partial” sea view and it was actually really amazing: you can see the sea really well on one side and the city on the other side. Extremely good!! Picture with a view is attached.
Cons: The bathtub wasn’t looking good - there was some spot that looked like dirt but it was rather the damaged covering of the bathtub. Didn’t feel nice. Also the airconditioning was off (since we were in winter) but made every minute a leaking sound - I couldn’t sleep without earplug.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really friendly

5.0 Okay
Pros: Excellent location in a very beautiful and well maintained city.
Cons: The bedroom was a disappointment. The bed mattress old and requiring replacement. The room was dark and old fashioned. Not at all as portrayed in the website photos.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Beau Rivage is a lovely hotel exceptionally well situated at the end of the curve of the Baie des Anges in the Vielle Ville ( Old Town ) . It is the quieter part within perfect walking distance of the Place Massena and the Galeries Lafayette and the rue Jean Medecin for shopping. Culturally well situated a stone's throw from the Opera de Nice and walking distance from the Musee Massena and the famous landmark Belle Epoque Hotel Negresco. The flower market on the Cour Saleya is a must. One is spoilt for choice for good restaurants in the area, therefore I look forward to returning one day in the near future. Do not miss the private beach at Beau Rivage Plage which has a very nice restaurant for lunch under the sun. Management and staff at Reception at Beau Rivage are especially courteous and helpful.
Cons: It would be nice to have had a chance to have drinks served on the first floor patio. Perhaps this is a service offered in the summer? The Beau Rivage Bar is great to hang out in for an evening drink or cocktail. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but do not underestimate the room service as the excellent restaurant next door Le Comptoir2Nicole provides a great selection of dishes. The breakfast staff could be more friendly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were understanding and helped us move to a much quieter room for the second night. And this room was bigger and seemingly newer. The windows even shut the carnival noise away. Super!
Cons: The first night was very noisy. Even closing the window didn't work(and it wasn't the carnival night). The room was also very small and facilities were really old. We were here during the Carnival parade so the breakfast hours were short of plates and bowls.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location -
Cons: Staff not always very helpful. One staff member in particular had a very poor command of English and was unable to give simple directions or answer basic questions.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Helping staff and good location.
6.2 Good
Pros: Location, and the room layout
Cons: My room was super noisy as it didn't have curtains. Couldn't sleep all night due to people partying outside. Came back to see my card being charged again for the stay even though I have already prepaid. Am disputing this with my credit card company right now.

Pros: First of all let me mention Mr. Alex, who was so helpful and kind, also spoke to us in our language( Hungarian) what is simply unbelievable. The reception staff was well informed and proficient. Our room was really clean and well designed. Bed was comfortable. The hotel so elegant, like a castle. The breakfast selection was so wide and tasty, also the view from the breakfast area is breathtaking. Thank you so much for this dream vacation. See you soon
Cons: No negativity.

Pros: Perfect location .
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The guy on the desk, Antoine was great.. Made a mistake in our booking and he fixed it there and then, no extra cost.. Great service and happy missis..
Cons: A little noise from the road Rooftop bar was closed due to the carnavale being on , but the bar one floor down was open and super cool
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and in the middle of town
Cons: No bidet
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the old town, and not much more from the Durandy tram stop. The tram itself can be picked up a few yards from the airport doors, and only costs 1.50 euros each way. The hotel receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. My room was large, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room / bar on the top floor has a spectacular view over the rooftops to the sea, and the range of breakfast items was brilliant. Note that by not booking breakfast before arrival, we saved 33% on the cost - 12 euros instead of 18.
Cons: The prices in the bar are a little high, e.g. 9 euros or so for a bottle of Pelforth brune ale, which can be had for about 6 or 6.50 euros elsewhere in Nice. Part of that will be accounted for by the view, and it might even be worth the extra on a lovely summer's night, when the roof terrace is open.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, location!!!
Cons: I was here two years ago in a room which was freshly renovated. Now the carpets in the corridors are dirty, the cheap parts in the room start to fall apart. Lamps ajar, stuff broken in the bathroom - there was even a wooden support under the toilet to hold it in place. Whoever is responsible to keep this place in shape does not do a good job. We had two rooms, one smelled awefully. This was my go-to hotel in Nice. :-/
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent - it was walking distance to the old town and also the main shopping street . The staff at reception were courteous and very helpful with offloading bags etc . The view from the bar was stunning .
Cons: There was a glass window between the bedroom and the bathroom and if you used the toilet , the other person in the room could see you - not good ! The staff in the bar were short staffed and the service was poor when ordering a drink.

7.0 Good
Pros: Really nice, pretty, cosy - I really liked the colors of the room and the little things like these towels different from the usual white ones in the other hotels. Happy to find a kettle with tea bags, a small fridge and so many pillows. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Was unfortunately too noisy for me (people, doors, upstairs, same floor) and it's not a good idea to be in the closest room to the laundry.
6.0 Good
Pros: comfy bed, clean, nice view, close to the train station
Cons: the doors were EXTREMELY loud even when you tried to close them carefully (which the cleaning staff did not). there were two signs for the door, one saying you wanted room cleaning and one saying you did not. we put the sign saying we did not want room cleaning and the cleaning staff opened our door anyways as we were saying we were in the room. the next night we tried putting no sign and they opened our door 3 separate times (the first at 10am) before calling our room to ask if we wanted room cleaning. the cleaning staff was extremely noisy and woke us up early every morning. the do not want cleaning sign said that if you refuse cleaning the hotel will provide drinks but instead they gave us one granola bar. the elevator also seemed a little rickety and was leery of using it
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Atmosphere was really cozy and trendy
Cons: Facilities in the bathroom was’t good. Shampoo and body gel was bad quality. Also siund isolation is bad, especially the outside noises.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both the hotel and the room look beautiful. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is very delicious. There is a lounge in the lobby where there is coffee, tea and board games which I think is a very good idea.
Cons: The room was facing the railroad. You could hear trains from the room. But it wasn't very disturbing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Interior of the rooms was really nice. However, the rooms looked smaller than on the photos. It is near the station and walk around 10min to the beach.
Cons: The Breakfast was awful. Not worth it. Too many tables crammed in a little space. The staff can barely keep up if a group of 8+ people coming at the same time.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is excellent, especially for train trevallers. The staff at the reception area is helpful. he told us a lot of information about Nice and Monaco, which made great sense to our travel.

6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good.
