Pros: Owners were lovely, really pet friendly, absolutely immaculately clean, breakfast was fantastic, definitely exceeded my expectations and I will return and recommend friends to stay too. Loads of unexpected extras such as lovely toiletries, Nespresso maker in the room, arrival snacks and drinks and even a an area all ready for my dog within a bed and blanket and bowls with fresh water. Fantastic!

Pros: If you are looking for a true blue local experience of this region of France, Halte Dodo is the perfect place. Homey and warm, we were welcomed by Florence, the owner, with some fresh fruit salad and juices. The homemade breakfast was sublime ! Guests were seated altogether at the dining table which created a nice community setting and thanks to Florence’s bubbly character, everyone started talking and sharing their holiday journeys. It felt truly like home.

Pros: Breakfast was very good -- home made fruit salad, yoghurt as well as jams etc.
Cons: There were no proper curtains at the windows to keep out the light so I had to cover the window with a towel

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was just as remote as I wanted it to be, but at the same time the B&B was very much up-to-date with superb facilities, great cooking (bio-vegetarian) and a very friendly staff. By the way, breakfast is included and almost everything is home made, tasty and healthy. Also, the landlord speaks a very good English and knows everything about the region. I can only give my very best recommendation for this place.

Pros: Superb views from mountains. Extra helpful host. Walking around the village. Old stable area for eating and relaxing in front of the fire. Good food and company.
Cons: Nothing. Some people may not like the winding steep road up the mountain but there are endless photo opportunities.

Cons: All good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Food was nice. Welcoming.
Cons: No choice with evening meal, time of eating was set as was time for breakfast. You had to sit next to strangers, all on one long table. A meal was served and there was no alternative offered. It was a vegetarian meal that suited me but my husband is a meat eater. The restaurant was a vegetarian bio establishment this was not stated in the advert.

Pros: On travel with my wife and children (6 and 3 years old), we booked by chance one night at the Asphodele. We had no expectations, being - in our plan - a simple stop for rest on the way to Provence. It definitely was a lucky strike, and it turned out to be one of the best places visited during our travel! Location is amazing (a small village on the mountains, with stunning nature and views) and it makes you forget about everyday's rush for a while. We had the feeling to have reached a place out of time, where usual life's pressure stays "out of the door", time is made to enjoy it, and simply let it flow by. We had the family room and it was large and comfortable, our two babies had plenty of room to play. We had dinner in the Asphodele, and it was simple yet very good and tasty (food is bio and is prepared by Christophe, who is the owner as well as the cook); breakfast too was very good, fresh and rich. Christophe, the owner, is a great host and made things easy and comfortable for us. I would definitely recommend the Asphodele... and whish to have chance to be back with more time to spend, to enjoy that relaxed feeling and the very nice location!
9.2 Excellent
