Pros: The staff was very good especially the first lady we spoke to on Thursday -cleaning people were very nice but they never cleaned my room the only thing he did was give me the towels and change them when we needed it
Cons: The walls are very thin and the ceiling you can hear everything from the other room and on top of us at first we thought there was a jungle gym above us with a bunch of kids
Pros: Very clean and quiet. Great amenities.
Pros: Clean and friendly staff
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and hotel was clean and associates were professional and friendly. We liked them very much

Pros: The food was good and everything was very clean
Pros: Beds were extremely comfortable. Accessible room/bathroom was great as was roll in shower Buffet was very good as well
Pros: The hotel was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was well stocked and staff were friendly and accommodating. The fitness room was quite nice. Little touches like ear buds supplied for the treadmills for TVs and nice free weight selection.
Pros: Great beds. Great breakfast

Pros: The room was very clean & the staff was very friendly & accommodating
Cons: Pool needed to be cleaned had a ring around the upper tiles
Pros: Breakfast was great..staff was super friendly and helpful
Cons: Wish it was closer to more things to do
Pros: Room and hotel were very clean. Staff was excellent. We had our family in surrounding area come over and congregate in the meeting room. The manager Judy was very accommodating to us and our visiting relatives. We will definitely visit this hotel again.
Cons: The coffee was bitter (sorry).
Pros: Impeccably clean. Excellent breakfast with really good coffee! Friendly, helpful staff. This will be our go-to hotel in the Rome/Utica area.
Cons: The photo of the room shows a couch; we had a chair and ottoman. The bathtub floor is slick! Be careful.
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious
Cons: When we booked and in the hotel guide there was a hot tub/whirlpool listed but when we got there the hot tub was cemented in. Very disappointed.
Pros: The Breakfast was awesome and the one lady named Winnie was excellent and very on the spot keeping the area where the food was very clean. Another lady (don't know her name) but she worked on the week-end was also very nice and very clean. My only complaint is not enforcing kids at the buffet Maybe if signs were posted stating kids were not allowed unaccompanied by an adult. Every year when we come to Rome, NY we always stay at this hotel. The price is reasonable and in a very convenient location.
Cons: The only thing that was very noticeable was the cobwebs in the side entrance doors in the corners and the floors in that area was not very clean. Not attractive to look at.
Pros: The shower was great! The water pressure was wonderful, and the shower head was large and high enough to have room between your head and the shower head!
Cons: Every piece of furniture in the room had stains on them, which made me not want to use any of them! The walls are also very thin.
Pros: The hot tub was no longer there. It was covered over in cement.

Pros: We love the variety of restaurant choices and the overall grounds. The casino was decorated beautifully for fall. Having the spa option is also a plus.
Cons: We felt the room rates are a bit steep an prohibit us from visiting more often. We stayed on Sunday night and some of the venues we were going to visit were not open such as the jazz Bar.
Pros: I enjoyed how luxurious the room felt. It was very close to the restaurants and the game floor. The staff was cared about how you felt about the room and they came back into the room to make the stay romantic.
Cons: I didn't enjoy how thin the walls were. My fiancé and I could hear the people that stayed next to us. It didn't help that they were drunk and they went around the barrier onto our balcony.
Pros: The Lodge was a beautiful and luxurious place to stay. It was romantic and well appointed. Great linens and very well done room. Great spa in the hotel and breakfast was very good at the restaurant. Casino is next door and ok. Steak house on 21st floor of casino hotel is quite nice.
Cons: Service at steakhouse bar was slow. Casino was kind of smoky/dirty but I think that's expected in most casinos. Comparable to New York New York in Vegas.

Pros: I have been here before. The nicest staff on the planet earth !!!!
Cons: Not a darn thing.
Pros: Was so impressed with this hotel. Staff was great. Rooms where clean. Priced right. And shuttle was so convenient. Next overnight to the casino this will be where we stay.
Cons: Steep entrance, bottomed out.
Pros: Room was very clean
Cons: Room was smaller then normal and house keeping came a hour and a half before check out to see if we are gone.
Pros: The room was very clean and conformable
Cons: Bought a couple snacks from the front desk and they were quite expensive
Cons: The fitness center was not available. It was closed for my entire stay, very disappointing! Would like some kind of compensation for my inconvenience.
Pros: The entire facility was very neat and clean. Very well taken care of. Staff was exceptionally friendly and engaging. The room was perfect. Breakfast was tasty. Definitely will stay there again. Reasonable price for the amenities. Bonvoy!
Cons: Nothing really.
Cons: It would've been more convenient if they had a shuttle to the casino.
Pros: The bathrooms were good size
Cons: The hotel shuttle to the casino ends at 2am... That's when the bars close. Should be 24 hour/7 days a week shuttle since the casino is a 24 hour establishment and the main attraction in the area. Or at least until 3am... 2am was ridiculous
Pros: Bed was extra comfortable
Pros: Good bed
Cons: I should have been offered a senior discount
Pros: It was an amazing stay as always. We defiantly had a great time and the best part was the hotel was right across from Turning Stone and we had a shuttle to get us there and back safely. Thank You

Pros: Breakfast was very good. The person working it even took the extra effort to get me lemon wedges. I used them for water but it would be good to have them for tea drinkers. The person checking us in was terrific.
Cons: It was kind of noisy at times (we were in room 231). Otherwise everything was good
Pros: It was close to the casino and the staff was wonderful. Having a shuttle bus run to the casino was a huge plus
Cons: A little pricey
Pros: The stay was wonderful and the breakfast was deliciously good. Staff was very generous and made me and partner feel welcome.
Cons: There was no microwave in the room that I stayed in
Pros: Location was good, but more convenient if you could drive directly across from turnpike exit instead of over a mile to backtrack, which you have no control over. Price good comparably & clean rooms.
Cons: Breakfast lacked variety and was not well stocked. Scrambled eggs and sausage were lukewarm at best. No bacon either day for those who don't like sausage, & the scrambled eggs were undesirable. Oatmeal was packaged variety only w/no toppings like raisins, nuts, etc. like other hotels have.
Pros: The luxurious room
Cons: I couldn’t stay longer
Pros: Breakfast was great, staff was friendly, shuttle bus service was so convenient.
Cons: It would be nice to have basic room service or lunch available, as well.
Pros: Proximity to casino and availability of shuttle service.
Cons: Room was not clean; cold water pressure was extremely low as was shower; food service was not serviced at all times; eye contact with front desk staff was minimal; entrance road surface was bad; no list of available restaurants; no morning papers.
Pros: The breakfast was great, alot of options available. The hotel was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The only complaint I had was when we first arrived at the hotel, the women who was at the desk barely lifted her head or acknowledged us which i thought was a bad first impression but the rest of the staff there was very nice and helpful.
Pros: Great night sleep and good breakfast
Pros: Spacious room
Cons: Not much of a variety of breakfast choices
Pros: The room was handicapped accessible and it was very roomy. Also clean.
Cons: The room was a little noisy. We were told after asking that it was probably the elevator.
Pros: The location and the courtesey of the personnel

Pros: Clean facility, friendly staff, good breakfast and coffee on 24/7
Pros: I loved the room. Great size and very well equipped. Loved that there was a coffee maker, microwave, iron, etc.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking a bit. There was no milk for the cereal. Some fruit options would’ve been nice.
Pros: The beds were very comfortable. The television and channels were excellent.
Cons: There was not one thing we didn't like.
Pros: How clean and new it was.
Cons: Needs a pool.
Pros: Room was large. Location was good for meeting friends at casino, though hotel has no shuttle service (some others in area do). Uber was $7.10, not expensive but adds to cost of staying here.
Cons: Breakfast was subpar. Long black hair between pillows on one of the beds made me wonder about cleanliness. Vending machine on floor didn’t include water as a choice (only coke or one kind of Poweraid). Difficult to find staff to check out (seemed to be out back smoking).
Pros: Bed was very comfy!
Pros: Staff is Wonderful! Fitness room is small but functional, breakfast was very good (loved the Waffle maker). The location is perfect for Events taking place at the Turningstone Casino.
Cons: My room did not have a refrigerator
Cons: Did not state at booking that it was pet friendly Have allergy
Pros: Room was very good. 2 beds with several pillows. Well stocked bath. Coffee 24 hours. Enjoyed breakfast. Easy check in/check out.
Cons: Breakfast could use more choices.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, microwave in hotel room was convenient.
Cons: The water was like warm during showers, the toilet seat was barely on the toilet, had to have front desk come and fix it, but was afraid to even sit on it in fear of it breaking. I paid more for a bigger room and the room was very small for the price. I’m afraid to see what the smaller room looked like.
Pros: Very clean and friendly staff
Cons: All good

Pros: Loved the location of our room with the view of the pool being on the middle. The kids could swim and we could watch them.
Cons: Elevator would have been nice for all the luggage
Pros: Easy to get to freeways.
Cons: The place needs to be updated. Wear and tear is obvious. there was a huge puddle of water right outside our door and was never cleaned up. The only thing they did was put a yellow cone. I took my bath towels and laid them on the outside of my door so that I didn't have to walk through the water. Phone did not work on the room. The ice room was disgusting.
Cons: Old recliner out of the room carpet clean there are very dirty.weeds growing all over the place around the pool around a parking lot no cover f Frior the outlet box outside by the pool just terrible
Pros: Poolside room and restaurant attached
Pros: Horrible I told them I found a bug in my room and they did nothing about it!
Pros: Great location and friendly staff
Cons: My room was under cover by stairs and it carried voice late at night from some people sitting and talking at the entrance. Got a little loud at 1:30am
Pros: Location and price
Cons: No restaurant
Cons: Room never made up. Shower curtain coming off the wall.
Pros: The best part I liked was there is a Denny's attached to it. Plus the location was close to the venue we went to.
Cons: The only problem we encountered was that the back door of the hotel would not open with our room key. I did make management aware of that.
Pros: You get what you pay for with the exception of the front desk attendant. He as very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Rooms need updating.
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly during check in and check out. From the outside the hotel looked la little run down but our room was great. Clean room, extremely comfortable bed, and restful. The Denny's next door was wonderful too. Waitress was outstanding and food was great. Especially after a long day
With a stay at Relax Inn in Rome, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Fort Stanwix and Capitol Theatre. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It was inexpensive, I think the new owners are trying but have a ways to go.
Cons: Pulled back the covers on both beds, the first one looked like someone didn't wipe after using the bathroom and sat on the edge of the bed, there was an 8 inch long brown skidmark. I don't know if the sheets had been washed or not. The other bed had what looked like a blood stain on the sheets next to the pillow, and the sheets were crumpled up in the middle as if someone had been lying there. The clerk was very pleasant and gave me fresh sheets, which we changed ourselves. Then the cable box didn't work so no tv. I wasn't going to have them come up to my room and fix it at 10:00 at night so we went without. Contractors doing renovations made a huge mess of the parking lot, wet morter everywhere which gets tracked all over, including my car since it was night when we checked in and didn't notice it. The work the contractors are doing is sub standard.
Pros: It was very clean and they attempted to update with “wood” flooring. The front desk staff were friendly and check in was fast.
Cons: There were things plugged in with extension cords and lighting was very out dated. The outside of the building wasn’t appealing either. It was kind of hard to get to as well and when I went to shower in the morning there was no hot water. Luckily I did get a hot shower the night before.
Pros: The refridgerator and micro wave in room.
Cons: I couldn't get the hot water to run in the shower.
Pros: I like the staff they are accommodating
Cons: no wifi connection very poor!
Cons: Safety lock was not even useable. Screws falling out of the doorframe. Water ran brown out of bathroom sink. I didn’t stay there!
Pros: The bed was the most comfortable ive ever slept on at. Hotel.
Cons: Clumps on mud on floor, hair on bed sheets, outlets were falling out of the walls. Daylight and wind come in under door.
Cons: The clerk gave us a "remodeled" room but you can't put some cheap laminate flooring down and slap a sloppy coat of paint on the walls and call it remodeled. Don't let the photos fool you, they had to have been taken when the hotel was new. Same furniture with a square of old carpet under the bed but no where else in the room. The frame around the door had been broken so at some point the door had been forced open.
Cons: Beds were full of stains, blankets were stained and smelled of body odor. The bathroom was so dirty we had to buy cleaners and clean it ourselves before we could even use it. The rugs were full of stains and hard. We slept in our clothes with our shoes on because this place was so terrible. The only reason we stayed........we had no wheres else to go. All hotels around were already booked for a very busy weekend.
Pros: The check In
Cons: Dirty and the room smelled like smoke. The bed was not comfortable, When you shut the door there was a gap so you could see to the outside. Just plain bad!!!
Cons: Extremely Cold room. Heater blew cold air and some warm air (I covered the cold air with towels after an hour went by cold). Cracks in windows. Cold air coming in around door. I looked to be the only guest there and my parking space was taken. I was given a space heater that took 2 and a half hours to heat the room. No one at the desk at check out.
With a stay at Red Carpet Inn Rome in Rome, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Capitol Theatre and Rome Historical Society & Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nothing about it
Cons: Roach hotel all broken down bed old and used
Pros: The staff were very friendly. It was well lit. Plenty of parking. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room.
Cons: The stairs to the room are very scary and need to be updated, they are literally rotted through in areas. The carpet needs a good shampooing.
Cons: There was no fitted sheet on bed. No extra blankets. Got there at 1230am and reception took 20 minutes to come out because he was sleeping . People staying in room next to us fought all night and we couldn’t sleep .
Pros: Bathroom was clean.
Cons: Very poorly maintained. Big issue: there was a sign that the room could be rented by the hour!!! That should give you a perfect picture of the quality. I slept with a chair up against the door. I wish I had thought to take pictures. Lobby (if you could call it that) smelled. So did the room.
Cons: Dirty, not comfortable. I could go on and on
Cons: Establishment was run down, dirty, especially outside. The inside was ok, but could use some updates. There is no hairdryer in the room and the tv was not user friendly. The location was a little sketchy, but quiet.
Pros: It's kind of isolated, and it could have been closer to where I wanted to go, but it was within reach. It was affordable.
Cons: I guess hotels don't clean up a room anymore after the first night of a two night stay.
Pros: Hot shower, far cleaner than expected from the outside of the hotel.
Cons: Dilapidated exterior, thin walls, WiFi was spotty and weak, amenities such as lights and television did not work, but it was cheap and clean, which are far more important.
Pros: Very bad place
Pros: Nothing, I learned a lesson to never choose a cheap hotel.
Cons: People next door taking very loud until 6 am, walls very thin, you can hear everything.(I mean everything...wink wink)
Cons: it was in the middle of no where making it alittle creepy, looked to be in the middle of being renovated. but was clean and quiet
Pros: The manager is cheap and asked us to not sleep in the other bed.
Cons: The stairs were falling apart and could collapse any time. The address given for the motel doesn't get you directly to the motel using Google maps.
