The hotel is very central, just a 3 minute walk to city center, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Too small shower. Old fashioned hotel.

Modern individual rooms. Lovely lounge to sit in with books to borrow.
The breakfast was fairly basic but adequate.

I think the best aspect for me was its proximity to train station, about a 7 minute slow walk. Also lovely garden very close by to relax on a hot day and within a 5 minute walk of shopping district.Breakfast was quite good although the room was very tiny considering the amount of rooms available, got quite crowded at times.
Yes beds are very hard and quite uncomfortable. Also my room was above a large coolroom/airconditioning are which was very noisy all day and night.

The room we had was a wonderful size - one of the largest we had in Italy. The bathroom was somewhat small but functional. Breakfast was average but the staff was friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel was quaint.
We were not able to have the windows open at night due to traffic noise
