Pros: Great location will only get better with the investment and improvements already in progress
Pros: Good spa facilities, bar & restaurant. Spacious rooms.
Cons: Not enough staff.
Pros: It is on the main square. Finding it, however, is very difficult, as Vratsa has a strange town planning and no signs to direct you anywhere. Parking at the hotel is almost impossible. Also the entire town is dug up and the hotel is in the middle of a building site.
Cons: Popular for all-night weddings and private parties with gipsy music thundering throughout the hotel. No sleep possible
Pros: The swimming pool is great, there is also a sauna and a small gym. The breakfast is good, nothing too special. The room was clean and nice, the staff was very helpful!
Cons: The receptionist was very rude
Pros: I got free upgrade, which was a pleasant thing. The service in the restaurant was very good. Also, the indoor pool was nice.
Pros: We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Excellent location in the town center, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Area itself was safe. Clean and bright rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast option was limited. Also, did not like the fact that they were serving tea and coffee in disposable paper plastic cups instead of regular ceramic/ glass cups. I wish they cared a bit more about sustainability.
Pros: Nice location, underground parking for a small fee. Great mountain view and clean air from there.
Cons: A/C is working but only cooling itself, its not enough. Smell in the room. Shower is not seperated from bathroom. Its like an open space for everything, water pressure was low. There was a little smell on the bathroom towels as well. Dont follow the hotel sign If you are going to park your car because It directs you to the square's public parking. You should make a round to reach hotel's parking.
Pros: Excellent location and nice views from the room. Very spacious room (we may have been upgraded), generally clean.
Cons: The room was a bit dated and not very well maintained with a dent in the door, some holes in the chairs (from cigarettes), and DIY repaired coffee table. Also there were some spots on the sheets.
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, large and clean room
Cons: Curtains not large enough to cover the windows so the sunlight shined in the morning and woke us

The closest shops and restaurants are 500 metres from the premises, while Vratsa Bus Terminal is 3 km away.
Pros: Safe parking for the car, not far from the centre.
Cons: Strange smell in the room spoiled everything else, no breakfast (it was confirmed thru booking.com).
Cons: There was no breakfast arrangements at the location. Personnel does not speak but bulgarian.Despite `non smoking room` request, and the mark on the door, the whole room was deeply smelling of cigarette smoke. Innitial price, according to booking.com, was 18 euros, but I had to pay 25 euros and got no receipt for the cash paid . Bathroom sink broken and toilet ring very worn-out aand stained.
Pros: The rooms were really large. There was plenty of space. Vratsa is known to be a poor region in Bulgaria, so anyone travelling in the region should not have any high expectations for the hotels. In this case the bathroom was not completely clean, especially the bathtub, but the place is really ok. With little work, they can really make the place shine.
Cons: - When we arrived there was no one at the reception and the place was locked - I had to call the owner, who called the receptionist, who unlocked and gave us the keys. - The bathroom could use little more cleaning

The nearest bus and railway station is 1.5 km from the Family Art-Hotel Zora.
Pros: It has private parking for about 3-4 cars.
Cons: It is on the main road into town and can be quite noisy.
Pros: The staff were all very pleasant and very helpful to gave us ideas of going round . Location of Family Art-Hotel Zora is excellent, right on the main road. The breakfast was fabulous.
Pros: I'm nearly a regular at Zora and love the place. Just at "one end" of Vratsa it's quiet with nice city views with a backdrop of mountains. Rooms are a good size and comfortable, and it's family owned/operated, all of whom are helpful and friendly and attentive. Zora is a really nice little hotel, I wouln'd even think of going anywhere else in Vratsa or North West Bulgaria come to that ...
Cons: There isn't anything to dislike. Nice rooms, great people, good prices.
Pros: The room was ok, the terrace with pretty view, the price fair enough. There was a market nearby, and somewhere to have lunch or dinner at 5 minutes walk.
Cons: The bathroom wasn't that clean; we had to ask the remote control of the AC.The breakfast with many choices but maybe improvable. The main problem, I am really sorry to say, was the staff. They maybe had a "bad day" when they checked us in, I don't know, but politness and relations with customers are half the work for us. Very unfriendly both of the receptionists, we just felt like undesired guests. Hope it was really just a bad day, nobody likes to be treated that way I guess.
Pros: Clean room with great view
Pros: The service was nice and it was clean.
Cons: Some of the facilities were not working properly in one of the two rooms our group used.
Pros: Staff are very attentive ... Twice while out of the hotel little changes were made in my room, for my comfort. I've never experienced that before in any hotel at any price. A fantastic little hotel run by a family who really care.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike !!!
Pros: Safe parking, good sized rooms, comfy beds, buffet breakfast.
Cons: No stairs.
Pros: The room was clean and nice.
Cons: The breakfasts wasn't good. They should have really work on that.

Ledenika Lodge also houses a restaurant serving international cuisine, and an outdoor terrace with barbecue facilities. On request and at a surcharge, massages as well as billiards and horse riding are organized on site. Shuttle services can be arranged upon an additional cost, Sofia Airport is 120 km away.
Pros: Excellent restaurant nextdoor. Ledenika cave and eko-paths are walking distance. Plenty of parking.
Cons: Beds are a bit written off:)
Pros: It was very clean and super nice smelling. All over the corridors smelled like they are just being washed. The staff was super nice. We had a great time!
Cons: There are no grocery shops nearby. However you can eat well at the restaurant right next to the lodge.
Pros: The nature was awesome.
Cons: The room wasn´t very comfortable. The bed also can be changed with double when the room is double.
Pros: Was a great location in the forests about vratsa. More like a hostel than a hotel. Very cheap accommodation so you get what you pay for.
Cons: Very old fashioned furniture and rooms. No one speaks English! Food was poor. Road being constructed so difficult to get there.
Pros: The location. Close to the AMAZING Ledenika Cave. Beware, Ledenika Cave is DIFFICULT for older or overweight persons! There are portions with very steep stairs and very narrow passages between different rooms of the cave! It is also cold inside so please take a warm coat.
Cons: We planned to stay for two days but we left after the first night. Old place (a lodge not a hotel) almost no new investment, very old and spotted carpets and very old furniture. The road up from Vratsa was in construction (june 2018), it was difficult to arrive at the hotel (16 km mountain road). The road was soo bad that... after all... we concluded it was a good thing to stay a night regardless the low quality conditions.
Pros: They tried to help us by driving us to another house ca. 4km away. Unfortunately it was really ugly there and the staff wasn't friendly at all.
Cons: We could not sleep there as the room we booked was not available. This is the first time that this happened with booking. com
Pros: I forgot to bring a lock for my bicycle, but the staff allowed me to put my bicycle in a locked room, where it was safe. The view was great. The room was very clean. The shower was nice and hot. The staff was very helpful.
Cons: I could not manage to get the heat on. I guess the heat is turned off in Spring, but my stay was in Early April. It was cold in the morning. ALSO: the website only permits one to make a reservation for two nights...but not one night. I thought that was inconvenient. Why can't I rent for just one night??? AND, the website said something like "Hurry, only two beds left!" But when I arrived, I discovered I was the ONLY one actually renting a room in the entire Lodge, so...it sounds like false advertisement, because there were MANY rooms available.
Pros: Room was to be expected for the price, beds were however comfortable, staff did not speak English very well but they did try, food was however very good, try the kavarma omelette, great location for the cave
Cons: The furniture is old, however the price for what you get is very good. The road to get up here is both long and needs to be improved, many potholes, and whilst we traveled a set of traffic lights, actually made the journey a little exiting
Pros: Beautiful mountain scenery and not so much tourists as I had expected
Cons: A lot of annoying flies everywhere.
Pros: Nice hotel directly at Ledenika Caves, good breakfast at the restaurant, very quiet and in a remote mountain area near Vratsa. Nice TV with even english channels.
Cons: The bed was a little bit uncomfortable, hotel could use a little renovation.
