“It's right at a beautiful public beach. The food is delicious and though a little pricey still affordable. The pool is clean but pretty warm so it's easier to be refreshed in the sea. Overall it was a nice and relaxing stay.”

“This is the third Asia Leisure property we visited and we had high hopes by the bar set high by their sister properties. Although the overall experience was ok we believe that there is room for improvement (pun intended) in many areas Comfy beds, great shower and outdoor tub in the balcony were the highlights. Beachfront property and the beach was clean and good for a casual swim. The swimming pool was fairly big and had sun beds and fresh beach towels for guests. Polite and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet with a nice spread and variety.”

“We loved the head chef Gamage who really made our stay at the Taprobana outstanding. When he saw that we were not greatly into Buffet he went out of his way to make us up a menu to suit us. The fine dining was outstanding. Also his cooking class was fun , informal and friendly showing us how to cook the great Sri lanken curries. The barmen were great too ,serving us up some lovely cocktails . The staff in general are all very friendly and try to to accommodate us during our stay Over all a very clean and friendly place.”
