6.0 Okay
There’s a lot to this trip because of a trip we had already booked through the vacation club. After paying the money, they could not find available dates around our time of travel. We ended up eating the money and paying for another vacation with our friends at the Kingsland and an extra night at the regular Hilton. Yet, they offered new perks to go to the timeshare presentation. The grounds are gorgeous, the beds were horribly uncomfortable, and the marketing ploys lacked integrity.

8.0 Very good
Pros:the hotel has its own lagoon!
Cons:had to book housekeeping 24h in advance, everything onsite is overpriced, $39 for self parking per day?!
L
2.0 Poor
Didn't get to stay there Traveluro book me at the wrong hotel in another state by the time I found out it was 24 hours prior to arrival and this hotel only had a $700 a night. This was the worst experience as I had to rush to get my own reservation. Sorry Kayak don't trust your 3rd party hotels rates.

7.4 Good
Pros:Likes: Breakfast is good. Facilities are excellent, beautiful grounds and views. Many outdoor activities. Excellent Museum Walk.
Cons:Dislikes: not many restaurant and cuisine choices. Hotel is a bit dated. Need major renovation. Room a bit old. Sink drain was stuck. Balcony slide door hard to open/close. In-room WiFi unusable. Tram service was down during stay.
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Breakfasts were good.
Cons:The water in the canal was a bit filthy. The hotel was excellent, but felt a bit dated.

10.0 Wonderful
Pros:I like the location and the Hilton's usual touch. Our room was very clean and the view of the ocean was spectacular. The pool areas are beautiful and some of those areas have good windbreaks. Very relaxing. I really like the long outdoor hallways connecting the towers. They have different art and it is nice to take long walks in the resort and if you get tired of waking, you can jump on the tram to get back. This is a great resort. We stayed in the Lagoon Tower with the Makai offering. Was excellent.
Cons:The Ocean Tower is under construction is not up to Hilton standards. If you are planning a trip to this Hilton, you should ensure you understand what room you are getting. Currently, the Ocean Tower rooms are dated and substandard for Hilton. They are remolding everything, but I am unsure of the timeline. Again, I recommend verifying what you are getting into when you reserve. Breakfast was way too expensive for what you get. I believe it was about $42 per person. That is too much for what is offered.

8.2 Very good
Pros:This was our third visit to this resort in the past 10 years. We keep coming back for the terrific location, the pools and lagoon, and the expansiveness of the property. It is beautiful and there is always something to do for everyone.
Cons:The prices at all of the dining options are ridiculous. We ate off property. Really, $5 for a plain croissant at the coffee stand?! No healthy breakfast choices either. We bought papayas for a $1 each at the Kona market and stocked up on yogurt and granola for breakfast, carrots and turkey sandwiches for lunch, and found our favourite place for dinner about a half hour away - the Seafood Bar.
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:I had a conference at the Marriott and opted to stay at the Hilton. And what a great choice that was! This resort is beautiful: spacious, clean and wonderful in every way. The dolphins and the water lagoon with giant sea turtles were incredible. I will definitely bring my kids here!
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:I like the way staff service in the breakfast restaurant. They are very nice. We'd like to thank Mason, luggage services, he was on time to help us to check out from Hotel very quickly so we would not be late for the our fly. We would come back to Hilton Village resort in the future if we can. Thank you for your services.
A
2.8 Poor
Pros:Beds were comfortable.
Cons:The lies, poor service, staff didn't even care when I walked across the whole complex to speak with someone about my concern. Wouldn't get a manager for me to speak to when requested. Staff very rude! Hidden fees, no shuttle services for free as they stated, prices for food was so high we ate lobster for every meal somewhere else and saved money than eating at the Hilton. Transportation around hotel was poor! Took 15- 20 minute before either would arrive. Trolleys would only run certain times a day, there were 13 boats I counted and there wasn't but 2 of them running at any given time. Had to walk across the whole facility every time, in which we beat the trolley and the boat to our destination. Trolley would always be in maintenence so when we did try it out it only went down one stop from the lobby and you had to walk from there. If you need exercise, then choose this place. Plan on 15-20 minute walk to lobby or the pool, etc. We stayed at the Fairmont for 5 days before we came to try out the Hilton. Switching was the biggest mistake! Fairmont 6 star rating, Hilton 1 star only because we stayed alive. Going to share this experience on every review site possible.
