6.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the staff was nice. The room service was good and the food was good for the price
Cons: I didn’t like that I couldn’t hook up my own device to the TV... I had brought my Apple TV and was not able to use it even if o paid for the premium internet. The pool was small and full of kids which isn’t really the hotels fault.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Night manager offered me a drink and snack on the house when I couldn’t sleep because of a snoring friend.
Cons: Toilet was a bit low to the ground and it felt like I was sitting on the floor. It seems like you have a full kitchen for dinner why can’t you have that for breakfast? For $150 I think there should be more than just continental breakfast. The two star hotels have continental breakfast and I’m only paying $70-$80. The occasion has to be really special for me to pay $150. Don’t think it’s going to happen again anytime soon.

Pros: The staff were great. Deon the maid was great and wanted us to make sure we all all of the accommodations for our little baby. The staff worked around the clock. Loved the breakfast in the morning which was well needed. Jean the breakfast guy even extended the breakfast a little longer one of the days for my family and another family since we had kids.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The comfy bed. The mirrors.
Cons: The tub filled while I was showering.
2.8 Mediocre
Cons: Room reeked of smoke, was dirty and outdated, and the unit next door held a party from 2-4 am with shouting and fighting that spilled over into the parking lot. On top of that, front desk was understaffed and slow, parking lot was crowded, and stairs to second floor unit was outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was nice loved my stay
Cons: Pan for oven
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was so shocked at how perfect everything was! The fireplace was incredible. We’ve never had one in a hotel before. It was so great to have a full kitchen to cook our meals instead of spending money. Amazing stove!!! We loved this hotel.
Cons: Literally the only thing was one of the glasses had white stuff all over it like it hadn’t been washed. But no biggie. They provide dish soap and sponge so we just washed everything before using it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was good
Cons: No free logs
6.0 Good
Pros: Good rate for a room with a full kitchen - Main lobby building and breakfast area was very nice with a nice outdoor patio. They accept pets.
Cons: Rooms are pet friendly, but they stick you in the back corner with the other pet owners - There is also a $75 charge for pets. Some of the residents who live long term at the Village Suites were a little sketchy. New Haven town is also a little sketchy - The only nice area we found was near the old Yale campus.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: Way overpriced. A terrible location. The hotel seems to have become in many respects a homeless shelter. The room next door to us had alarge family with about 30 large garbage bags outside the door. The mother cursing loudly at her children repeatedly.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Cleaniless and location.
Cons: The staff is atrocious. We, as a big family with 2 toddlers coming in later at night, we're drained and looking for respite for the night. We were nothing but kind and patience with the front office staff but they had nothing but frustration and attitude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the ladies who you speak to before hand Tye, very helpful and kind. Lisa the young lady who checked us in to the breakfast each morning very delicious and plenty for everyone. Very clean lobby and the rooms very clean. So beautiful in each room. I had the penthouse suit and I couldn’t have been more happy. All the comforts of home. I absolutely love the new Haven suits. Everyone and everything was great. Thank you Ms. Foster
7.0 Good
Pros: Private entrance, decent breakfast, nice common areas
Cons: The only real bother with this room is that the heating unit was in the closet and would Malle a loud thud when it kicks on. Also a few stains on the bathroom floor. other than that its a decent value.

Pros: All of it
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent

Pros: Spacious suite, room enough for 2 adults and 2 grown-up children; nice and relaxed atmosphere, everything we needed during this 2-nights stay!
5.2 Okay
Pros: Room, itself, was nice and it was quiet.
Cons: Although check-in is known to be at 3pm we arrived early from Norwalk area at 11am and then went to the front desk again ar 2pm and they never tried to be accomodating to us but just told us it was not guaranteeed until a 3pm arrival. The housekeep[ng staff should try to accomodate someone who is already at the locatiuon versus their traditional room-to-room approach. We did not get into the room until 3:15-3:30pm.When tyou pay over $200/nihgt, I'd lik ethe staff to try to be more accomodating.
7.2 Good
Pros: Room very confortable, nice breakfast, ideal for family
Cons: A little bit outside the city, no restaurants close by
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, clean, nice kitchen everything needed was there, popcorn and candy jar, nice extras.
Cons: A/C unit was a little loud in the room.. Maintance room(locked door) could maybe be a little insulated to block noise.
6.0 Good
Pros: I loved the fact it had a warm and a cold pool. It was very pleasant to dive in after a long car journey. The room was very spatious.
Cons: The air-conditioning outside the room was very noisy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary hot breakfast and light evening meal.
Cons: It was an excellent choice, the only drawback being the location (a little out of the way and not close to food establishments) but we had a rental car so even that wasn't too much of a concern.

Cons: This is my 2nd street weekend staying at this specific hotel. Me and my wife are getting divorced and we split our time away from home. 2 weekends ago I was put in a Room that had no hot water. This past weekend I was put in a Room that had no towels. I specifically choose this hotel because it offers a breakfast in the morning they usually includes eggs and some type of me along with a Belgian waffle station. Being on a tight budget I spend a little extra for this reason. Upon checking in had no issues no problems. Much to my surprise when I got into my Room there was a little paper with a notice about breakfast being limited to coffee, tea, cereal & oatmeal. I totally understand the reasoning behind it, but think there should have been a little more notification at the front desk. Or at the very least something mentioned by the 2 members of the staff that were at the desk while I was checking in period what I have stayed and spent the extra money? That I don't know but at least I would have been given the option.

7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient to highway (I-91) exit; spacious room; firm mattress (though a bit too high, even for a 6-4er).
Cons: Very noisy neighbors; weed odors throughout corridors and a down-market clientele contribute to a "seedy" aura that belied good upkeep. The breakfast was adequate but should include fresh fruit (apples, oranges, bananas -- something).

Pros: Housekeeping was very helpful. When I needed something, it didn't take a long time.
Cons: There was a issue with bugs. It was taken care of, just made me feel weird. There was also a problem with people smoking weed. That smell came into my room and at that time ... I did call the front. I assume it was handled because the scent did leave.

Pros: good location
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing this place is dirty and their customer service sucks. Specialty when it comes from the manager and co-owner José Ramos. So disappointed in this hotel
Cons: Customer service sucks. I try calling the front desk in two occasions through the phone in the room they wouldn't pick up . I call the hotel through my personal cellphone twice they wouldn't pick up. I try the third time the managers Jose Ramos answered the phone and I told him I have been trying to call you and he cut me off didn't let me speak and said I have more customers so what is it. Just like that. I thought that was so rude and unprofessional. Then the carpets all around the 3rd floor were so dirty like you can see all the stains and dirt. I Had to sleep on my own blankets the bed blankets were dirty the Room smells so bad, it was my worst night sleep, we got to the hotel at 11pm after my cousins baby shower and there were people with a loud party going on across from my room in room 304. They were partying and been super loud for hours . I could not sleep, my daughter couldn't sleep my husband couldn't sleep. Cops were called at approximately 430am or so the cops and the people were arguing and super loud. They were fighting and everything. The smell around the hotel is bad. We couldn't sleep at all that night. then in the morning I go outside buy some Dunkin Donuts coffee come back and go straight to the breakfast cafeteria to eat breakfast and the manager sends a maintenance guy that I'm sorry but he was so high he couldn't speak right and the manager Jose Ramos send this guy to question us of why we are there and if we are staying in the hotel, I got so offended like really? I looked at the guy so serious and upset and told him that How can Jose doesn't remember us from checking us in the day before? So disappointed. I will never stay here again and I'm definitely posting this to booking.com, Facebook, Google, Yelp, and every social media outlet I can. my experience was so bad I shouldn't be have to pay for that night. The worst hotel I have ever stay at and I stay in hotels a lot in a year.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff is racist. The room was dirty and filthy they put us in a room where there was no heat. The room I was sent looked abandoned and it was terrible. I would give the place no stars it was that terrible. I can’t believe the service it was horrible.
5.0 Okay
Cons: There were roaches. The place is Bates Motel-esque, so might have been nice if it were a few decades ago. There is no breakfast - that’s false advertising and probably should be removed from their listing. Expect a bed and shower and not much else; but really, what else are you expecting for the price? It’s a budget option.

Cons: There were roaches, hair on the bed, no garbage can, the service was horrible, first they gave us the wrong room, the next day they gave another customer a key to our room & they walked in on us. If we were not there they could have easily stolen our
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: There’s nothing to like. That 2.5 rating is too high. It’s more like a 0 from me.
Cons: This place is disgusting! Everything on site was dirty and broken. The room was just nasty! There were cigarette burns on the mattress and linen. I couldn’t tell when last housekeeping made it out there. Our doorknob was pretty much hanging on by a thread, you could literally see into the door and some of the outside. We did have 15 minutes to decline and get a refund, but unfortunately for us every single hotel was booked because of parents weekend at Yale. So we were stuck. The neighborhood is shady as hell and even the staff is afraid of the people around there. Whoever owns this place couldn’t give a f*** about it or the people who will have to stay here. That’s evident throughout the property.
