Pros: The 3 Daggers was incredible! The staff were excellent and everything was perfect! The food was fantastic, along with all the facilities. We will definitely be returning - literally fell in love with the Place! A lovely lady (Sorry I have forgotten her name) also remembered during a conversation it was my Birthday and 'Happy Birthday' was written on my desert plate - a wonderful touch <3
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything.
Cons: The best hotel i have booked on booking.com, absolutely beautiful in every way, clean to the highest of standards, highest standard of service and genuine warmth from the staff. Food far outweighed our expectations and all for a very reasonable price. will be booking again for next month.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Despite having only three bedrooms, there is a lovely comfortable lounge, open-plan including kitchen area for sole use of residents. Ample supplies therein of coffee, tea, biscuits and so good to be able to enjoy these in a sitting room rather than in one's bedroom. Excellent breakfast, local foods used. Staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Everything was excellent EXCEPT the bed! Described as 'king' this seemed to be a standard double size, not even queen size. Which made for less than comfortable sleeping. The bedroom was a good size, absolutely large enough for a king size bed. There was also quite a lot of 'mechanical' noise - thought at first that this must be the kitchen fan which would stop once the restaurant was closed. But it was very noticeable at night - possibly refrigeration, as the bedroom was more or less over the kitchen.

Pros: Room very nice. Breakfasts were excellent
Cons: Bathroom was a wet room, so after a shower the whole floor was wet.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome, great pub and very comfortable room! Love the fact that the rooms are across from the pub, could certainly make a difference to noise levels for a weekend stay assuming. Breakfast choice was great and probably the best poached eggs I've had
Cons: Didn't like the smell of the toilets when I walked into the pub, the door is right next to the toilets - I think it was actually the cleaning product but not pleasant
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a lovely cottage feel to the room which was finished to a very high standard. The pub was great and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, especially the breakfast. I will definitely visit again if I am in the area. Thank you :)
Cons: Although essential for disabled use, I wasn’t keen on the wet room shower.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was furnished to the period of the terrace house that was the accommodation.
Cons: I understould why the accomadation is across the road from the noise of the busy pub, but it's a bit wet to get YEA breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely, had a good full English breakfast.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place for a break, clean and comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Fresh food. Comfortable warm room with large double bed as requested.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Convenient location and a change from Premier Inn, based on what I understood to be an excellent deal
Cons: The deal on booking was for a higher standard of room which was in fact incorrectly sold to me. The room type I thought I had booked for a very low rate was of course not correct. Instead my room was a standard room with no real desk space, an absolute must for me, and very creaky floorboards. Apart from that the room was OK, just not what I was expecting and not helped by the room type booked was not available as all were occupied, at least that's what I was told on checking in.
7.0 Good
Pros: Amazing restaurant staff - Taylor was an excellent waitress! Good local knowledge of walks/ attractions. Brilliant on site massage.
Cons: A bit too close to a busy road. Reception was tricky to find, could have been more clearly signposted.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location and cleanliness, buffet breakfast was very good.
Cons: Booked deluxe room, was not as shown in picture online, as this showed larger room with extra large king size bed.Room number 15 was allocated to us!?
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable; nice and warm (room and staff).
Cons: Creaky floorboards. but that will only have been a problem for floor below ...
9.0 Excellent
Pros: £ 28.00 for one night stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff very comfortable hotel
Cons: Restaurant and bar prices
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Served in the restaurant. Buffet for bread/cereal etc. But cooked breakfast served to order.
Cons: All fine
1.0 Poor
Pros: The food was good
Cons: I booked a deluxe king size room however on arrival I was given a cabin room with no explanation as to why my room had been changed, neither was the price of a downgrade discussed. On realizing I was given an incorrect room I made my way to reception to inform them of the error. The assistant manager stated that I had made a mistake and I hadn't booked the deluxe king room, I was adamant I had as I had a confirmation email to confirm. She said that she would ask the manager to come and speak to me if I made my way back to my allocated room. (I was also informed that the hotel was full and a different room was not available) I waited 40 minutes and decided to go back to the reception to see what had happened. I was informed by the young staff member, who may I add was training, that she had left for the day (the assistant manager) so I asked where the manager was, I was informed that he hadn't even been here. Obviously I felt like I had been FOBBED OFF big time ! The young staff member stated that the assistant manager had offered a discounted room rate for the cabin room I had been given instead. I said I wasn't happy with that as if I wanted a smaller room I would have booked a smaller room and to be fair, it was the fact that if I hadn't stated the obvious I would have still been charged the room rate for a king size deluxe. I made my way back to the cabin room feeling un- satisfied with the result. However 25 mins later I received a visit stating they had found me a four poster room for my two night stay. Now this I was happy with and it was very comfortable however form checking in to finally having a room of my expectation was 2 hours. Trust me after a 5 hr drive and a full days work this is not what you want when getting to your hotel. My grievance is the fact that I had to kick an almighty fuss to be listened to and do not appreciate being lied too. It makes for an awkward and uncomfortable stay.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Small interment hotel, rooms lovely and comfortable and also had a free upgrade...
Cons: Staff are OK but not attentive enough was told someone would come and take out tea/coffee order waited 30 mins then had to ask... Had afternoon tea book was told someone would come and tell us when ready again had to ask 20 mins after booking time so just felt forgotten about several times....
6.0 Good
Pros: The bathroom was fab The burger was good
Cons: The breakfast was disappointing. I’d pre-ordered pancakes for my boyfriends birthday and when they came it was literally that! It didn’t come with cream or syrup or fruit so I called reception to bring some. Not what I wanted to do on this occasion as it was pre-ordered. My breakfast didn’t come with toast or fruit, just felt half-hearted :( They did upgrade us to a suite which wads lovely but sometimes it’s the little things that get noticed the most, like the topping on a pancake! I called reception to replenish our toiletries before we went downstairs for dinner and I was assured a turn down service would be done. But it was not :(( The relaxation room didn’t supply any tea to relax with. We got overcharged for our meal with two drinks. But without an itemised bill, I couldn’t query it.
