The room was very cosy plenty of room friendly staff bar area very nice warm & homely would recommend it to anyone & will visit again Thank you for a great time
Excellent room for size & comfort
The bar was a little cold & other guests constantly on their mobile phones
The hotel was lovely and very clean! Very nice place to stay!
Some staff were a little grumpy, and you didn’t get a lot of food for a full English breakfast. They also charged us extra for Champagne when we were previously told it was included in the meal price.
room was clean and well decorated. There was a ceiling light hanging out on one of the fixings but overall everything was lovely. bathroom was lovely.
The breakfast was ok - the sausage (1) was a bit pitiful though. Also - the staff had started laying the tables for the evening which appeared to cause confusion to guests who were arriving later on in the morning. Maybe that could have been started later to avoid confusion.
A lovely traditional house, lot't of wood, windows have small 'traditional panes' and the whole place has an old-worldly feel, which is a nice chance from modern glittery hotels. However, this does not mean you miss out on any amenities and the rooms were large, spotless and homey. Totally recommended for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, Good and staff were lovely.
