Grant Village, while okay, is clearly being run by a government contractor with no competition. You are paying for the convenience of staying in the park, not a luxury vacation. Good: -Food at the restaurant was very good, with friendly service -Lovely location on Yellowstone Lake -Reasonably quiet Bad: -Room wasn’t clean, carpet obviously not vacuumed, with cobwebs hanging around -No A/C, only a janky fan from the 1980s -No wi-fi

Cons:The hotel was not very clean or inviting. Seems in need of much renovation. Bathrooms are dingy and showers are tiny. Dinner was not much better. The staff at the restaurant were rude and gave off the impression that they didn't want to be there. The food was just mediocre. This contrasts with other hotels in the park where we stayed and people and facilities were great.
