Cons: Add French vanilla creamer
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were extra helpful & friendly
Cons: Air unit in the room made a horrible rattling noise all night. The guest across the hall were very loud and dog barking was irritating. I feel with this type of hotel pets should not be allowed.

Pros: Staff was welcoming and helpful. Hotel was nice, room was updated and clean. Enjoyed our stay!
Cons: My only complaint was it would have been nice to have a hose near the door. Because we were coming in from the beach, we tracked a lot of sand in our room!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach
Cons: The pool was small and not open
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in a great location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying there and will probably stay there again in the future.
Cons: I had not complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: Parking is horrible. Front desk staff is just as horrific. The night clerk parked in the middle of the check in door blocking traffic. She saw me sitting there trying to pass and continued to lock her doors and walk inside leaving her car where it was. Blocking all those trying to check in. Guess she was late for work. I killed a roach crawling on my daughter and then spotted another in the ceiling. My experience was horrific and have no plans on ever staying here again.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The pandemic I suppose was used as excuse for little to no maid service; no breakfast; perhaps they were doing me a favor to let me stay there; However when they would not grant or consider a late check out; I realized customer service was not a Priority ; sad experience;
Cons: No maid service; would not consider late checkout; no breakfast and no break on price;
4.0 Okay
Pros: Great location. Clean, updated.
Cons: Staff made us feel like intruders instead of guests, took half a day to replace batteries in a noisy smoke alarm. We had to move our cars between two lots at specific times or be towed. Unfriendly, chaotic atmosphere. No breakfast bags, and one to a guest signs. We didn’t even get 1 per guest. No linens for the pull out bed, staff seemed irritated to get it and to provide the overflow parking passes even though it’s this place that did not have parking for us. Told me I couldn’t park in lot while I was waiting to check in. You know the hotel across the street is ON the beach and the same rate. I came back here because on a previous visit the staff and accommodations were so friendly. Will not come back here.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Proximity to the beach, cookies in lobby.
Cons: Microwave had spoiled milk in it. I told the front desk, they cleaned 2 hours later and then blamed me for doing it and said next time let us know sooner when I specifically said it was already like that. Unfriendly staff and run down hotel....
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of space in the room. Comfortable beds. Happy to have the amenities provided.
Cons: It didn’t bother me. I think the staff is wonderful and they’ve always been nice and hard working. But the front lobby floors were pretty dirty throughout the weekend. I know it’s hard to keep sand up considering it’s directly located off the beach. It’s not a complaint. Only an observation
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room and the staff.
Cons: The bathroom is a bit small and the shower doesn't have very good pressure (yes, you can use it still a better water flow would be better).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, close to beach, close to historic district.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing, both at check-in and check-out. Professional staff that is both friendly and efficient. I left an article in my room and promptly received a friendly reminder call. Absolutely no complaints!
Cons: No, will gladly stay again.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: There was no wifi in the room. The manager was not interested in solving that problem. He was arrogant and unfriendly. He said: That's your problem. The breakfast buffet was poor. You had to ask to stock up all the time.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothjng the staff was rude and the rooms where dirty.
Cons: I was placed on the quarantine floor just to be moved to a very dirty room with hair all in the beds and tub. There was stains on all the linen

Cons: The shower is too small!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice hotel and had good price. The hotel was right at the beach and had a restaurant and bar, overall really good
Cons: Nothing
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel is as close to the beach as it gets without being on the beach. The hotel also has a very nice ice cream shop with ice cream made entirely in house.
Cons: When booking you're told the rooms are sound proof, they are not, which would help a lot when the restaurant connected to the hotel has a live show playing no more than 10 feet away from you. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned and had a bug problem. The restaurant connected to the hotel is also extremely over priced and very poor quality.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location. Great food! Nice rooms!
Cons: Wish we would have known they had live music. Our room was directly behind the stage. It was very loud for 5 hours. Luckily they only played till 10:00 pm. I would have preferred to be at the other end. Also needs signs to tell you where the motel office is. I had to ask 2 different employees and finally found it. King sized mattress sunk in the middle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly And attentive. The room was very up dated. Our servers at the restaurant were prompt and very friendly.
Cons: There was a guy washing the building at 5:00 A.M. which woke us up on Monday. .
5.0 Okay
Pros: We didn’t get breakfast but the place honestly looked run down. The pictures make it look amazing but when you get there it looks like the beach version of bates motel with a bar/restaurant. The room was very nice and clean but the location and the shower disappointed me. The location of my room was directly behind the bar and music area so instead of relaxing it was a bit noisy and drunk people walking up and down the hallways because of the bathrooms being next and near to rooms. The shower had no water pressure. The public showers at the beach have more water pressure than that. The food was not expensive but I wish there would’ve been more to the menu. The location of the motel/restaurant wasn’t ocean view either. So don’t think for a second that when it says, “ Right across from the ocean” that you’re gonna see the ocean because you’re not. Amelia by the sea is alllll in the way of the view. I know this was a mixture of what I liked and didn’t like but I was on a roll. Sorry.
Cons: Look at previous post
4.2 Okay
Pros: The staff, bar, and the R&B guitarist are great!
Cons: The bait and switch regarding the advertised picture of the room and the dump we were given. Smelled like mold and old blankets, no toilet paper, must dingy and dank. Also, the room is in no way ADA compliant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for what I paid. King suite/room with big bathroom and a “kitchen”.
Cons: Bed frame was kind of broken, the room could’ve been cleaner.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bar and restaurant area. Everything we needed was there.
Cons: The bed dip in the middle. Made it kinda Uncomfortable.

Pros: Excellent room with plenty of space. Very clean. The proximity to the beach with beach chairs was so convenient. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
Cons: We liked everything about the property.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, private beach, and comfortable modern upgrades to a elegant 1890's building.
Cons: Our ocean view room was on the side of the hotel and we couldn't view the sunrise as we love to do when we visit the Atlantic. We could see the ocean, but it isn't what I would consider an ocean view. The outside windows are in desperate need of cleaning to enhance the views, and replace the uncomfortable mattress/box spring to eliminate the noisy nightly roll overs while in bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful!
Cons: Weather, but we cannot control that!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Na
4.0 Okay
Pros: Natural elements of landscape, location and architecture of lodge lovely. The view from the porch is the ocean is peaceful. It is quaint if looking for this type stay which we were with style and accommodations however the latter was of an issue.
Cons: The rooms were not cleaned daily- sheets, bathroom, glasses left in room no replacements etc I The food prepared no flavor, no taste I Had to request smallest of necessities continually I The staff were not skilled, set aside, not congenial I very noticeable in such type accommodation I not well received as a guest looking for a quaint get away advertised under "Conde' Nast" list I This lodge could easily with little effort be very nice. Couldn't get beyond the lack of cleanliness, courtesy and effort.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing it was bad!!! The bed was terrible. The breakfast was gross. The bath towels were ruff and old the staff was not friendly at all. The pictures on booking was not what you get. The tv was so small you couldn't even see what was on.
Cons: Not relaxing at all left early and still was charged the full amount. I would not recommend this place to anybody I know.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: They brought my wife a rose for Mother’s Day.
Cons: Air went out in our room. There was no apology or reimbursement.

Pros: Location, rooms are clean and updated, no Florida musty rooms you might expect!

Pros: The rooms were clean and the shower worked great! Cable TV has lots of choices. Lights and outlets were convenient. WiFi worked fine. Price was jacked up for the Amelia Concours weekend.
Cons: The price increase for the event weekend was high. No one at the desk explained breakfast hours or any other amenities. The breakfast was uninspired. I didn't eat the sausage because the patties looked gray and leftover. The eggs were tasteless. One side of the toaster did not work. The fruit and fruit juice were good. The location is at the intersection of an I-95 and SR200. Both the interchange and road are under construction. SR200 has been under construction for 6 years!
