9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Stay with wonderfull big room with an incredible terrasse on thé sea
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Noisy room,we heard all nigth the tv of the next room,no good at all for a 4 star hotel.Very poor breakfast.
5.4 Okay
Cons: You dont expect to book a hotel that boasts fabulous views half way up mount etna and then get given a room at the back of hotel looking onto a noisy street
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location The proximity to the Etna and the view over Zafferana is breathtakingly beautiful. The breakfast On our first morning the bar man made us three cappuccini although the restaurant was not open yet. Thank you.
Cons: The room We were given a room that did not suit our needs and were offered to get an upgrade if we paid for it. After having visited three other rooms and discussing with the staff members, we were given a better (more spacious) one without having to pay for it. The reception We were given no (e.g. use of phone in the spa) or erroneous (e.g. lacking dressing gowns in the room) explanations and the receptionist made a very limp attempt to be humorous about our change of room by asking us to pay 50€ for the upgrade and then explaining that she made a joke. The spa The sauna did not work and we didn’t receive other towels which is why we had to use the ones from our room. This is a no go for a spa hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view and location. Nice terrace. Clean rooms.
Cons: No towels for the spa area, sauna typically turned off, steam room smelt horrible and wasn’t usable. Breakfast at 8:30 (one hour after it started) felt like everyone was already preparing the room for lunch. Cold overcooked eggs, only few options available etc.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Position, wellness services
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unexpected views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great little town.
Cons: No pool towels.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The only 4 star thing was the view. Very few people.
Cons: The breakfast was ridiculous, cold eggs and croissants. The room was always dusty and very far from clean. Big towels were changed once in 10 days, small towels- never. Two nights there were very loud parties outside till middle of the night.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, beautiful location, smart rooms. The bar was nice and Alessandro the bar man was great.
Cons: We had to move rooms three times due to noise. First because we could hear people and music in the room next to us, second because of loud clanking and creaking pipes during the night. Even in our upgraded third room there was lots of loud creaking all night. The milk in our room was off. There was no bottle opener in the room. The air con didn’t work very well. The restaurant was hugely overpriced and the portions were minuscule. The breakfast was over priced and very average. All in all it was a catalogue of disappointment.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful hotel and facilities, great service.
Cons: Our room was literally at the reception which led to a lack of privacy and lots of noise (especially at breakfast time). So if you go please make sure to avoid room 1 & 2.
6.3 Good
Pros: The site of the hotel has been developed with extreme care and thoughtfulness. Nice views over the countrside down to the sea. Cant comment on breakfast as we didnt participate.
Cons: Had a disappointing meal. Seems over-priced for the food. We had much better meals at local restaurants in the area for a quarter of the price. Would add that if you are producing your own wines and want to encourage guests to drink them then pricing needs to be much more competitive. Had a lunch at Osteria Nicosia in Trecastagna some 10 kms away. Ultra-modern vineyard producing bio/organic wines. The top of their reds was on the wine list at Euro 10 per bottle and very high-quality lunch also competitively priced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was wonderful but better yet, we’re the restaurant and bar.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Property was luxurious and situated on a large piece of farmland that guests are free to roam around on. It is also very close to Zafferana and other small towns in the Etnea region; easily reachable if you have a car. The restaurant quality was very good with excellent service (we dined there twice over our three nights). Room was well appointed, very big, and clean. We liked the eco-focus of the property. We signed up to the wine-tasting session hosted by Marco the sommelier, and it was a very informative and fun hour spent.
Cons: As the weather was rainy for the most part when we were there, breakfast was served indoors. On the final morning, it was served on the outdoor terrace. The staff were struggling with logistics of taking orders and running back and forth from the kitchen and generally the experience could be better organised. Also, a couple of the staff (we think they were the front office managers) were rather cold towards us and they could have been a bit more warm and friendly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish
Cons: Our room was quite dark
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Monaci is a fantastic place to stay near Etna. The facilities and property were super stunning and clean. Our room (which was in a former wine press) was very comfortable and cozy, and fantastically decorated. The bed was great and the bathroom and bathtub were immaculate, and being able to sit just outside of our room and drink a glass of wine while looking across vineyards was delightful. The fresh fruit was also great, though we found imprints of stickers on some, which makes me wonder if everything was truly picked on the property, but deliciousness nonetheless. The on-site restaurant was also a treat—the breakfast every morning was unreal, and we took the opportunity to dine there every night to avoid driving for a few days and the meals were all great, though more expensive than most other places that we ate in Sicily. The staff was also super helpful in arranging a massage and also a guide to hike Etna.
Cons: Really nothing. The only complaint I have is that the staff should get a better handle on the difference between the Etna hikes that they’re offering to better suit guests intended experiences on the volcano. Our hike was great, but we wanted more hiking and were a little misled as to which option would provide that chance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location with an attentive staff. Food and accommodations were all top rate.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We like the hotel and pool area.
Cons: The breakfast was very poor. Poor choice and badly presented. The coffee was extremely bad - undrinkable.

Pros: Friendly Helpful staff. Nice gardens. Delicious breakfast. Views from the room.
Cons: They were packing and unpacking trucks under our room until late into the evening. Some areas of the hotel look a bit run down.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Close to Etna for hiking.
Cons: Air conditioning did not work in room at all- hot air blowing all night, extremely uncomfortable. Hotel staff could not fix A/C issue. No screens on balcony doors so could not open without bugs coming into room. WiFi also rarely worked from room - would go in and out of functioning service.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff was nice, receptionist. They arrange a car for us and gave us some good advice what to see. I also liked the spa and sauna.
Cons: The breakfast was ok. Mainly pastries. Also the location if you want to sea Taormina and Etna is ok. You definitely need a car, otherwise you are stuck in a hotel.

Pros: Stuff was very friendly and nice! The view from our balcony - soooo beautiful! It was clean and we're cleaned daily.en
Cons: Very hard bed :) Extra cost for water and wine even though we had half board meals included.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location - but you need a car. Room was good size and nice and quiet
Cons: Staff not very friendly
7.1 Good
Pros: It is a good starting point for Etna visit (20 min by car).
Cons: We arrived late in the evening and as there was no supermarket open, we kindly asked for a bottle of water (as there was nothing in the room bar). Next day when leaving, the receptionist asked us to pay for it. It is not about the money, rather about hospitability....

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great view of Mount Etna from the terrace and a wonderful host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb! Close to everything with private off street parking. Beautiful gardens, excellent safety and privacy. Great breakfast and they provided special food for my gluten free wife. The "room" was a full apartment with full kitchen, excellent wi-fi, separate living and sleeping quarters. Whole floor to self with private garden plus access to other garden areas. A great time to go is October when the city has a festival every Sunday! It is a HUGE festival and very well done with craftsmen, artists, and food! The Belvedere Pizzaria next to the big city fountain is TREMENDOUS! Inexpensive yet superb food and service! Short drive to where they filmed Michael Corleone Godfather wedding scene (they even have short shotgun replicas you can pose with at restaurant where Michael meets Apollonia's Father); Mt. Etna tours, ... We stayed two weeks at beach but liked this area better! This B&B is steps from the middle of the October Festival but being one street away it was quiet and private. Enclosed behind heavy doors, then a huge private garden.
Cons: I cannot think of any way it could have been any better!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very central location. Breakfast was very rich and in the lovely garden. Any request we had was looked after promptly. We had a great stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thank You for the marvelous stay ! We were there for one week and we could either rest in peaceful, quiet place or travel along whole eastern Sicilia as our appartment seemed to be in the perfect, most convinient point. The hosts were very nice and helpful for us. It was very clean everywhere. We had fantastic breakfasts, swam in extremely clean swimming pool and enjoyed beautiful view around, especially of Etna - we could even see and hear little explosions and fire on the top of the volcano. Of course it was very good location to explore Etna. We cannot imagine better place for visiting eastern Sicilia.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nicely located hotel with a sea view. Nice rooms.
Cons: The breakfast room is somehow odd, but also with a nice sea view. The access to the sea is very limited and you need to drive to get to a sand beach.
7.0 Good
Cons: Breakfast. Fairly basic. Scrambled egg provided, fried eggs are an additional €5.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff really nice, hotel near to the beach, spa no so expensive

Pros: The bed was good minibar I like it
Cons: Toothpaste were not found no slippers and just coffee without milk

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, nice customer service, quiet location but a bit far away from any local shops and activities. Shuttle bus to Catania centre only for €2 per person for round trip :)
Cons: That was shame that this hotel doesn't have any interior pool as external swimming pool is open from April

This hotel has facilities measuring 8608 square feet (800 square meters), including a conference center. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the balcony. The restaurant staff was lovely. Plus a very clean room.
Cons: The walk to the airport on the roads
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Generally pleasant and helpful staff. quick response from room service. Excellent potato and mushroom soup in the restaurant!!. Except for the bathroom safety issue, the room was good and when no opener was available for the minibar, one was quickly supplied along with the room service. We had a great view of Etna from our room that afternoon--an unexpected plus after spending ten days in other parts of Sicily.
Cons: Downgraded you on "facilities" primarily on the safety issue. Like all European hotels, no one seems to make it easy for older people to get in and out of the shower/tub safely. Besides the wall bar, there are hold bars that fasten to the edge of a tub which are helpful in getting out. I have seen some here in the US, don't think I saw any in European hotels. Also square toilet seat was a surprise--we even took a photo because we had never seen such before--but I don't find that it is very comfortable to sit on!
7.0 Good
Pros: Very generously dimensioned rooms. Free shuttle service to airport - only 5 minutes drive.
Cons: The pool is nice but location not so great. Restaurants in the area are uneventful. So it’s clearly a great airport hotel, not a resort.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Room spacious and clean. Close to airport.
Cons: Shuttle pickup slow. Seem to run the shuttle hourly. So close to the airport it could be as needed or, at least, twice per hour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked a room at very short notice. It was large, quiet and nicely furnished. Staff at reception and room service staff were friendly and helpful. Only a 10 min. walk to the Airport which proved very useful when we learned that a "Rescue" flight would arrive very soon to take us home to England. We had a free lift in the hotel shuttle bus. Thank you staff and apologies for leaving our room in a bit of a mess!
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice place to go if you are flying out of Catania! Big rooms, ours had a view of the mt. etna.
4.6 Okay
Pros: it Was clean big room ,only staff friendly was housekeeping.
Cons: The hotel is trying to be something it is not certinallynot 4 star,if I was a business traveller as well disappointing. No ironing facilities,no ice facilities when you asked at bar a real drama. Breakfast ok not 4 star, then when you parked free outside never a space and then a charge for guests poor. I would say as a regular travel in all types of hotel this was not even up to a holiday inn express which are far better value. This is trying to be a boutique hotel ,but really needs to up its game poor customer service, the only thing in my view is location to the airport.overall very disappointing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean and modern room with a great bed!
Cons: Restaurant experience was poor. Food was cold and fit for a vegetarian. Breakfast was spartan.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Room was a nice size and it was clean.
Cons: Steph was unfriendly and unhelpful. Also, shuttle bus was full when we needed it. We needed to get to the airport at 5 o'clock in the morning. That's why we stayed at the hotel! Had to take a taxi for $20 instead.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. The room was clean. They were changing towels every day. For us to be at this hotel, was perfect. With a rental car it was easy to come to the highway for all destinations. We parked the car outside the hotel free of charge. It was a bit of experience to drive in the sentrum of Catania with all the traffic. But not expensive to come to the sentrum by bus.
Cons: No any negative comments.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big room
Cons: I did not like the fact that all companies kayak booking hotel com amoma publish one price and when you agree the price changes and ther is all ways a folse information that at the end you pay more from the publish price or you have to pay extras which are supposed to be included so please stop bloofing the customers
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and clean but next to some staff room at the very end of the hall downstairs so could hear loud talking. The location is good for travelers having to fly in and out of Catania airport. The hotel has a shuttle for 5 Euros.
Cons: At a minimum coffee or tea should be provided for guests no matter even if they paid less than another guest. The hotel is not near restaurants and cafes so you would have to leave the hotel to go to a cafe.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hardware look Lo
Cons: Staff is a little retarded
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall nice hotel and helpful staff
Cons: Location
4.5 Okay
Pros: Outstanding breakfast and food.
Cons: Unable to control the temperature of my room. What's the point of having A/C controls in the room if they do not work and are controlled by reception? Totally unacceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel. I must have called reception about 5-7 times because my room was too warm. I kept getting told that the temperature for my room specifically was lowered which is untrue. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, I was hoping for a good night's sleep and didn't get it. Extremely annoyed.

Pros: Swimming pool and beach were wonderful.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Very Pour breakfast.they tried to avoid refilling what was finished.also, we had to ask for fresh fruits and boiled eggs.the excuse was that the had run out of many things and the next replenishment would be 3days later!!! also the gym needs renovation because many things were out of order.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds super comfy and amaeing huge shower. Nuxe toiletries. True that this hotel is not central but there is a lovely seaside promenade and great views.
Cons: Nothing - was a shame the roof terrace was shut! Very steep to get to the carpark.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in this hotel several times and the overall good standard is pretty consistent. It has a good lock-up garage and a very good breakfast and there is a very good restaurant just next to the hotel.
Cons: This time round the shower was not working well and kept changing from very hot to very cold and this made showering quite annoying. Breakfast is still being served in the basement; refurbishment of the breakfast room on the roof is taking too long (same situation prevailed when we were there on New Year's Day)
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location view of sea
Cons: Building work being done so no roof top terrace access which is why I booked it!! We should have been told this prior to our visit. First day no hot or cold water. Not told in advance. Loud banging or hammering right next to us in the morning ☹️
6.0 Good
Pros: The bed was firm, but surprisingly comfortable. About the eggs that everyone talks about - if you have breakfast around 7, the eggs will be runny. Around 8, it's slightly runny and around 9, the eggs are no longer runny. Other than that, we loved the fresh orange juice, the water pressure in the shower was great and our room was spacious.
Cons: During our stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations and it was noisy. There were times electricity was shut off (although they called us to let us know). The walls are also very thin, so you can hear everything. I'm sure the hotel operates better in the summer time.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: In my view the price/quality ratio for this hotel is very good. For someone with a car this is a very good place to stay in in Catania. It is right on the coast with nice sea views and the hotel has a good underground garage. There is also on-street parking across the road. We note improvements every time we stay in this hotel; to the rooms and the common areas. The memory foam mattress was really really nice. The buffet breakfast is also really good and plentiful. There is an excellent restaurant right next door to the hotel.
Cons: Pity breakfast had to be served in a (nice) hall in the basement because the usually very nice rooftop breakfast room is undergoing refurbishment we were told.

Pros: Breakfast especially orange juice and free baverages in minibar.
7.0 Good
Pros: - close to the train station - central position - clean
Cons: -the wall of the room was terrible - the receptionist was not kind
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location Cooperation of the staff Breakfast
Cons: Everything was ok
9.0 Excellent
Pros: By far the best breakfast we had in Sicily. Fresh fruit, freshly baked cakes and pastries, proper coffee. The staff were particularly helpful, from helping us drive into the minuscule gateway to the underground car park, and how to get out of Catania when we left (not straight forward).
Cons: Light came under the door of the bedroom which I was able to keep out by using a rolled up towel. Perhaps the lights could be dimmed at night.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Hotel premises and facilities are outstanding.
Cons: Only not so positive aspect was distance of hotel to places of interest, and difficult parking.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: We liked the handyman, he was always smiling and nice to us.
6.3 Good
Pros: - Location, close to everything (stay on the main streets during the night, not sure if unsafe but in some streets there were a lot of homeless people and beggars). - Parking, just drop you key at the reception and they will park your car in the hotel’s garage (€10 per night). - Friendly staff - Mini bar is free of charge (soft drinks+water) - Hotel building has a nice ambiance - Spacious room
Cons: - The room looked clean, but with a closer look the minibar was dirty inside. And on the last day we found a cockroach in the bathroom.... - I would rate it as a 2 or 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel....everything is just a bit outdated and there aren’t any facilities you would normally expect in a 4 star hotel. But overall we had a wonderful time in Catania!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. The staff were very obliging and kind to us when we arrived very late due to a delayed flight. They directed us to park our hire car and took good care of watching it.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
7.0 Good
Pros: Stayed here second time. Not so thrilled the second time, but when in Catania and want a decent hotel, I think if you like to walk to the center, this seems like a good choice. Decent size room, quite clean, good breakfast.
Cons: The room I've got the second time was not so good, it was facing the street thus noisy and there was a disturbing smell coming from the AC vents, which at night was pretty hard to endure. Also, we've got only one set of towels even if we were 2 in the room, This is not acceptable from my point of view for a 4 star hotel.Even more, the days that followed the situation continued, still a single towel for 2 persons.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The service of the staff
Cons: A bit away from the centre of the town

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfect amount of space. Breakfast room service was fast! The bathtub was amazing!
Cons: I was on the ground floor so my "balcony" wasn't impressive. The breakfast was just okay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff at reception, room with balcony, beach facilities, breakfast,
Cons: Could really do with children's pool, lots of kids splashing and screaming in pool takes away fifth star
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful and so comfortable! I just wish I knew how to work the A/C, because it was a little warm. staff was great, everything was so clean.
Cons: just that I wish I known how to make the room cooler, like how to work the A/C
7.0 Good
Pros: The place was clean and the staff very friendly.
Cons: The lighting was too bright in the restaurant and the pillows on the beds needed refreshing with new ones
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a confusing situation. While stuck on Sicily and experiencing first hand the tragic outbreak of Covid-19, the staff of the hotel was very kind. It was my 4th stay already there and it’s a really nice place. Comfortable, clean and feeling as home! #andratuttobene #stay safe
Cons: Nothing, all fine.
4.0 Okay
Pros: near airport
Cons: Rooms had a strange mildew smell
7.9 Good
Pros: Convenient for the airport
Cons: Room functional but felt a bit antiquated

Pros: location
Cons: the hotel is almost run down. It desperately needs to be renovated
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a good location and our room was big, if a bit dated, with a fabulous view of Mount Etna. The levels of cleanliness were high, all the staff were friendly, the breakfasts offered a plentiful choice and the bar area was comfortable and welcoming. We were presented with tasty little canapés with our drinks and the two dinners we ate there were cooked perfectly.
Cons: The hotel is in need of some refurbishment. The dinner menu offered the same choices each evening.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff at reception, bar, dining room extremely friendly n helpful. In my last night, standing outside the hotel I was bothered by a drunk, and the receptionist immediately came to help.very appreciated
Cons: Delays in cleaning the room
