Everything is perfect here from room size , towels , hot water . Location is great good views , one of the best included Hotel Breakfast i have had in Colombia . The staff is super helpful and professional .
I rented one of the suites with terrace ....no mini refrigerator in the room also the terrace had no chairs or table ( i did not ask reception ) TV reception in my room was Horrible . CNN international English station all else in Spanish
Excellent modern and spotlessly clean hotel. Good location for salt cathedral and old centre.
Room 211 that is above the breakfast area is noisy. Rooms with balcony are worth having as they are quiet..... But the balcony is a waste of time as there is no view.
Centrally located but still quiet. Beds very comfortable. Hot shower. Good breakfast.
Lobby and breakfast area rather steril
The best breakfast we had in Colombia! Hotel close to the city centre, nice rooms, free secure parking.
Very clean, good breakfast (and esp coffee), fantastic location close to town square with LOTS of restaurant options, and close to the Cathedral de Sal.
No elevator! We are a two getting-on-in-years couple, traveling on motorcycles. We have a lot of heavy luggage to take off the bikes when we pull into a hotel. We arrived early and they let us put our luggage in the lobby area (appreciated) while we went to the Cathedral de Sal So they knew us, and they knew how much luggage we had, long before we checked in. And yet they put us on the top (4th) floor - and the only access is up a very narrow and steep stairway that is not well designed for carrying luggage (it has half/half-landings that would be illegal in a public building in other countries). It was narrow it difficult to carry our large duffle's, we both tripped several times. It took us three trips up and down - nearly killed us. And I can understand that maybe it was the only room available. But for a hotel that portrays itself as "classy" and "up-scale", it was very un-classy that they sat there and watched us struggle to get our luggage up, and not once offered any help. Same on our way out. That was the only negative - but it sort of overshadowed the positives for us. I was not happy. If we had been on the ground floor, my review would probably be 5 star. And if they had helped us with the luggage, probably same. But beware if you end up on upper floors - you are on your own and the stairs are borderline dangerous, imo. Elevation in Zipaquira is around 2700 meters, and if you are not used to that elevation, the effort going up stairs is doubled.
