Pros: The beach
Cons: SpA
7.9 Good
Pros: That is closer to the beach
Cons: The design
5.4 Okay
Pros: Casa Andjna was a nice place to stay but there are things that made our stay disappointing, the hotel is beautiful itself, they have a beautiful beach, a pool area, a lot of space to have fun, the rooms are good, clean, good WiFi.
Cons: 1. The hotel is like 15 min out of town, Zorritos it is a really small town that you need to know well otherwise it will be a little bit hard for you to find stuff. Since the hotel is out of town you feel trapped in the hotel bc it is expensive (bc you’re staying in casa Andina) to go to town and their taxis charge a lot. 2. Staff doesn’t speak English, no one understand a single word of English and whenever we wanted to ask for something they had to put us on hold and ask for someone who speaks English. 3. Me and my husband stayed in a lot of hotels in different countries, from apartments to 5 star hotels, Casa Andina was one of the weirdest experiences if we talk about staff and customer service, the staff from front desk was helpful and they were nice, but the staff from the restaurant & I specially remember Julio our server had the worse service in the entire hotel, he was so rushed for who knows what that he rushed us too, so impersonal, he lacks of training and he needs to learn how to be nice, if this is a hotel that you pay more than 100$ per night you should be getting quality service and the staff should be trained to how to treat people, the fact we were young doesn’t mean we don’t deserve respect or quality service; before we went to casa andina we went to La Casa de Diego, a really small hotel that we were not expecting anything from bc it looked “not fancy as casa andina” & we received the best customer service there! We gained friends and we paid like 2 times less than Casa Andina which is crazy bc this “5 star hotel” is supposed to give you the best service ever. So I’d recommend the hotel to hire people that love what they’re doing, that they love knowing new people, making the guest live amazing experiences & if you have guests celebrating their anniversary, then try to make their experiences unforgettable. 4. The restaurant, we didn’t like it at all! The food was horrible the 2 days we ate there & it is so overpriced. 5.

Pros: The pool is right on the beach and makes for a wonderful view and is kept very clean. We had a room with a balcony that faced the pool, but you could still see the ocean where you could watch the sunsets. The showers also had warm water! It’s a short walk to town, or just 1.50 to take a moto in if you’re lazy.
Cons: Water pressure in the shower was terrible, at night the giant floodlight on the beach made it impossible to enjoy the sea after dark, and the breakfast was one egg, but two tablespoons of butter for your bread. I’d rather have another cheap egg, and no expensive butter.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Located on the beach, have big swimming pool.
Cons: Apartments was not clean enough, actually they are old, beds are not comfortable. Very noisy till the late night, and at night too, plays music and every evening people who lived here have partys. Not recommended for family’s with kids, who want to relax. Far from city centre .

Pros: Diego is an excellent host, always catering for your every need. Besides, he's an accomplished cook (his lobster was to drool over) and a knowledgeable tourist guide. The rooms are cozy and clean, hot water at all times. The balcony view is priceless. At this lodge you feel like home, friendly pets included. The beach is all but unspoiled, with warm waters and a calm tide. They say you always go back to the places where you were happy. Well, I'm bound to return.
Cons: Access to the beach could be improved.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was plenty of space in the room and the bed was pretty comfortable. Diego is a very relaxed and kind person. The biggest plus of all is the location. La casa de Diego is directly at the beach. It was a bless to fall asleep and awake to the sound of the ocean. Highly recommended.

Pros: Nice staff Good breakfast and dinner Friendly pets Safe parking And awesome view

Pros: Diego's house was the perfect place for me to end my trip in Peru: peaceful, cosy, with a great view and sound of the ocean, and with Diego's good vibes. I immediately felt at home! Diego is a great host, and a great cook too!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: If you like a quiet rustic spot, this is your place. Diego is the best host anyone can ask for, he cooks wonderfully and prices are affordable. Plus, he shares the kitchen if you are into cooking your own meals. With the Monday paper, I would have spent more days at his place and less in Canoas de Punta Sal.
Cons: There's nothing to mention. It exceeded our expectations!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Already before I arrived, Diego the owner of this magnificent place contacted me to make sure I will arrive safely at his place. I arrived just before sunset so I was able to experience my first of many following sunsets right in front of the Casa. I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed! The whole place (which Diego built himself with the help of a friend) has an incredible vibe! You can have it all: sitting on the veranda all by yourself listening to the ocean, or connect with the others at community dinner which Diego prepares - if you like so. If not you have a fully equipped kitchen with ocean view to prepare yourself a lovely dinner. Here you can have it all! The quiet, just hang out on the beach - or choose one of the tours Diego recommences! I extended my stay cause I just could not leave this place!!! BEST PLACE EN EL NORTE DE PERU!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had such an amazing and relaxing time here. The accommodation is located next to a 'private' beach, the rooms are so comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped (you can make nice smoothies with fresh fruits from the market) and the kitchen as well as the rooms got cleaned everyday. Diego is a lovely host, and was always there if we needed anything. The market is 5-10 min away by tuktuk (2 soles). It's the perfect place if you want to relax and have a quiet time! We already miss the place and the lovely dogs!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Diego is a super friendly and helpful host. He helped us where ever he could and drove us around if needed. Really nice hotel with some nice animal and a chill place at the beach. Almost like having a private beach right in front the door. Great pizza prepared by Diego. Big and nice rooms with a mosquito net. All great and definitely worth staying here! Gracias para todo!
Cons: Breakfast was a little low, some more bread and fruits would be better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The stay was great, mainly because of the great location of la Casa de Diego. A few steps from the ocean. You fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the waves. It's idyllic. Peace and quiet. The center can be reached by moto-taxi at any time. DIEGO is a great host. Relaxed, helpful, he also cooks well. We felt great here and we highly recommend coming to this place.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff. AMAZING LOCATION RIGHT ON THE BEACH
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is great and right on the beach, and I loved that the hostel was made of driftwood and materials from the area. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good but simple (bread, coffee, juice), but you have the option to add more food and it is relatively inexpensive. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and despite being fairly open I didn't have any issues with bugs at night. Overall a really great and cost-effective place to stay if your main goal is to be as close to the water as possible.
Cons: The only issue I had was that because it is an Eco-Hostel, you use a bucket to flush the toilets. I have no problem with this method of flushing, but it can be difficult for people not used to it to get the technique down. As a result, the toilet closest to my room was really dirty. There are several bathrooms in the hostel, however, so it wasn't that big of a deal overall.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is a little piece of paradise. I've have been living in Cusco for the past two years and I've been hearing about très puntas constantly. It's a great escape from the party vibe in Mancora. The place itself is wild, magical, immersed in nature, right on the beach, the staff is awesome and kind and takes care of every need, it has a great pool..... I stayed 8 days.. And I didn't want to leave. I will miss place, the volunteers and the sweet dog Benji. I will definitely come back soon ❤️
Cons: Everything was excellent
5.8 Okay
Pros: Pros: - Nice clean deserted beach area. - Very good swimming pool - Beautiful restaurant area with impressive walkway to the beach / swimming pool
Cons: This hotel gets foreign (mostly European) 'volunteers' to build guestrooms for paying guests instead of employing/paying locals to do so. I found the ethics of this questionable in a country where a significant proportion of the population live under the poverty line. Cons: - Located next to a busy road outside of town where you can hear traffic roaring past at all hours. - There is no table service at the restaurant. If you want something, you have to go up to the kitchen to ask for it. - Food takes far too long to arrive. Half an hour for breakfast, an hour for lunch. - The shared 'kitchen' is in fact a shack with a pit for building wood fires with minimal cooking equipment. - The owner is a bad tempered Spaniard who scolds his staff in front of guests. There were a few things we didn't undersrand for a eco hotel: bottles and rubbish around the bungalows... As with many hotels these days, the use of the word 'eco' in the name merely signifies poor quality amenities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is located directly at the beach. It's a large place but also has a lot of privacy. It's possible to cook and bbq at a fireplace or to eat in the restaurant. There are lot of activities around this place and it's easy to reach other citys.
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing, directly at the beach, comfortable hammocks, the place is a little piece of paradise
Cons: Facilities are basic, rooms a little bit sandy, but it’s a eco hostel made out of wood, so you should adjust your expectations.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the place is absolutely beautiful, especially if you like it a bit more rustique and natural. everything is made of wood and the area is huge, right at the beach, with a beautiful pool and a lot if hammocks. there's nothing to do around but it's the perfect place to relax for a few days and calm your mind. the owners, once you meet them, are really friendly and kind hearted and the vibe is really chill. the beds made me sleep really long. price-value is great, I had a bungalow for myself with a small terasse, a comfy bad and a hammock. also, the ceviche they make is delicious!
Cons: it really took some time until I got my room - many volunteers but a bit confusing at the beginning who actually works at the moment and can help you.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The beach is empty and absolutely beautiful. A great walk towards the city! The staff is amazing and the hammacs and the wooden huts are beautiful!
Cons: The Wifi doesn't get to the rroms but that's great for digital detox!
6.3 Good
Pros: Very good food is served in the restaurant. Hostel is right on the beach and from the pool you can see the ocean. Very quiet and peaceful place except the big road. A big room and a very comfortable bed.
Cons: A big road was so near that if a big truck passes by you can almost feel it in your bed, so the noise from passing fast driving cars was annoying for me. The floor was really dirty in my room. There was no mosquito net in the room, I had to ask for it myself which was a bit weird because there are a lot of bugs and mosquitoes. You can order some tours from the reception but information given about the tours and operators was so poor that I decided not to book any from this hostel. In a ecohostel a dry toilet would be more efficient than dragging the water with a bucket. Even tho the idea of recycling water is good.
