Cons: "Flight was suppose to be delayed two hours, so got to the airport hour before flight was suppose to leave at 3:45 but delayed till 5:45 so waiting in airport all day. Flight didn’t actually leave until 6:30-6:45. Which made pick up arrangements at destination cost me more money. I usually Kayak often and want to continue using it."

I spent a fortune getting flights, planning rides, to make it home by the 26th and tend to responsibilities by the 27th. I realize weather delayed the flight, but once in Calgary, it would have been nice for WestJet to even scope the opportunity to get me home. #StrandedinCanada"

Cons: "I had safety concerns on the flight from YVR to Toronto because seated in the exit row were two individuals who were brought to the gate assisted on a cart and had to wait for assistance to get on and off the flight. They had very poor ambulation which made me nervous as these people have agreed, by sitting in the exit row, that they are able and willing to help in the case of an emergency evacuation. This was not a safe situation and was noted by several passengers."

Delayed by 30 minutes....then the crew preboarded a sick lady and her travel companion. At some point crew decided she should not fly to LA, but the ladies wouldn’t get off plane! 45 minutes later and 4 RCMP show up to escort them off plane. Then we didn’t have any ground crew to get us off loading ramp. Finally got away 90 minutes or more after scheduled departure. Circled LA a few times before getting to land.... long flight with long delays!"

He banged his head and hurt his leg. Westjet crew were fabulous! They tended to him right away. The paramedics were called and he's in hospital right now."

Instead of arriving in Regina at 1 pm, we got there at Midnight. Missed my only Saturday of visiting with family. No apology from WestJet. Received only $30 in compensation for meals to be divided by My daughter and I. I viewed this to be very cheap on the part of WestJest, with no consideration for the value of our time. Will make a point of avoiding them in future for absolute certain!!!!!!!"

Cons: "The security staff were not prepared to deal with the sudden increase in volume of passengers. Since there were around 300 people ahead of me I knew I was probably not going to make my flight. I felt as though I wanted to ask everyone there if they minded me going to the front of the line as I was probably going to miss the flight, but felt too intimidated. Of course my onboard bag was flagged for further inspection so when I asked the security agent that was being absolutely riduculas with the inspectioin of the mans belongings ahead of me if she could take a look at mine as I was probably going to miss my flight she just gave me this evil look and said im already looking at this mans things. (she didnt need to state the obvious but maybe a little common sense and tact in helping to resolve customers problems would go a lot further than projecting her power trip. Not impressed at all."

Regarding entertainment: We could not connect to the entertainment system, so we watched a DVD that we brought along with us."

In the past airlines complained about cost of fuel, gas, but now is cheaper and we PASSANGERS never have any consideration flying. Another fact is the seatis are too small, I had to share my seat with two overweight women and they occupied part of my space, I was so uncomfortable, I requested for another seating and was not possible due to the fullness of the plain. I standed up many time not rubber and feel the heat of that person on my left side. overweight people should be suggested to buy double seating."

Pros: "At $320usd per person per direction, you can't beat the price thanks to whatever magical gremlins Kayaks employs to fix prices for them...we flew Air Canada and we'e very pleased with their fleets new addition of 787 dream liners. Do yourself a favor and find a flight on this aircraft. From takeoff to landing, there was never a question about our safety and comfort, and the sleek, organic aesthetic of the dream liner somehow met a new standard for both ergonomy and tech/entertainment. I especially found the sub ports in my personal screen useful."

I am pregnant and travelling alone with a toddler and was told by a flight attendant they were suppose to help me lift my bag. Nothing major, but left an unpleasant experience compared to Westjet."

Food and service were not as good as a recent Air Canada return trip from Roma to Vancouver which had a first rate crew, food, and complimentary beer. 3. The plane was much older than the recent return trip I had and the air was much more dry."

Pros: "I always like to fly Air Canada for long international flights. Everyone has their own TV, where you can choose what movie/TV show you want to watch, or what game you want to play. You can also pause, fast forward, and rewind at any point, which is not always possible on other airlines. The food was also very tasty. We were served two full meals and a sandwich. The alcohol was free, which was lovely too. The staff were nice and there was plenty of leg room. Overall, it was a great flight."

In typical airline fashion, we were told several times that the delay would probably take about 15 minutes, turning into nearly 2 hours. In combination with the change I described above and the 9.5 hour flight to Tokyo, we were completely done in for 2-3 days after we got to Tokyo."

Pros: "As a 6'5" guy, I was worried about spending ten hours on a plane. Air Canada made the flight enjoyable with comfortable seats (even in the economy class) and high quality flight attendants."
