Pros: The flight was not even 1/3 full, which made everything easy. Was able to find a spot for my bad above my seat. The seats next to me were to empty, so that added benefit through out the flight. The in flight entertainment on the app is a not annoying if you don't download it first but there's a work around if you know it.

Cons: Flight Chicago to Phoenix didn’t arrived on time st gate and we missed flight to Fresno
Pros: The flight itself was as good as expected: Attentive crew and competent pilot, good enough food, comfortable enough (for coach) seats, and clean airplane. The seats could be made to recline a bit more but nobody seems to be doing it for coach class.
Cons: The flight was delayed 30 minutes causing me to lose the connecting flight home by about 5 minutes There was no effort from United to help me to get the second flight on time or from the crew on that one to delay it enough for me to arrive. They suggested I waited 9 hours for the next available flight or to get one by AA in Reagan Airport in 3 hours. They told me that transportation to that airport would not be reimbursed and would cost between 20 and 40 dollars. I didn't know the airports were that far apart and the one-hour taxi drive cost me 80 dollars. From Sao Paulo to Washington, things went as well as expected. Once landed everything was horrible.
Pros: Cleanness, efficiency
Cons: The restrooms constant traffic and there are no participation’s or curtains to darken the lights and the constant interruptions
Cons: United airlines staff were very grumpy
Pros: Very friendly crew that empathized with the plight of the passengers on board. The poor experiences throughout the journey could have been avoided if United changed it's policies and processes to become more customer focused.
Cons: So many small things add up to an overall poor experience on a flight, and it doesn't seem like United understands this. 1) WiFI was down. 2) Entertainment screens for several of the passengers on board were not working. The poor lady next to me had a broken screen, and combined with the broken WiFi, she literally just sat in her seat looking forward for several hours (after she finished the podcasts on her phone). 3) For a 5-6 hour flight, food (more than just snacks) were available for only about half the passengers on board. Apparently its an intentional policy of United to only have food available for a portion of the passengers. It wasn't even possible to purchase it if I wanted to because by the time the crew got to me, they were all out. 4) Baggage space under the seat varies wildly depending on your seat. For some reason, the aisle seat has the smallest space I have ever seen in my life (about the size of a shoe box). It was the first flight I have ever been on where I was literally not able to fit a small backpack underneath my seat.
Cons: Snide check-in woman at United when she glibly announced that there was no connecting flight since my flight was delayed. She was cold and snarky and of absolutely no help.
