Cons: "We didn't select our meal option for vegetarian because the last time we did we ended up with a horrible, horrible, hockey puck like dry food option. We assumed there would be a cheese pasta option, as there usually is, well we were completely wrong. Both options were meat, even the salad had meat in it. So we got a roll with butter, a tiny fruit, and a disgusting wet dessert. Even the breakfast was meat and cheese. I got online to select our meal option for our return trip, and the options are out of control. We have a lacto-ovo-vegetarian option, whatever that is"
Pros: "There was a major problem with my booking and I went through almost 2 hours or stress thinking I would not be let on the flight. This has never happened with Kayak. But it was really bad. TAP insisted they could not book me on as Azores Airlines from Pinta Delgado to Toronto was not booked for me. I had to call bothe airlines. With no help from the desk. I finally got both to confirm and at the last minute was allowed on the flight. I chose this route to have a nice couple of days in Portugal and I will have. But the flight start was really upsetting."

Cons: "The hospitality of the airline crew is very poor as they are extremely rude to their customers. The planes I flew on were very out of date and not comfortable for international travel. I have flown on many airlines, but these planes were by far the worst. Cheap price, for a reason. The seats didn’t recline, the food was terrible, no options were given for food, and the movies were pre-picked. No one had a choice in what they watched. Very outdated. I had 2.5 hours to board my connecting flight and they caused me to miss it. As I waited in the customs line entering Lisbon, I asked a TAP representative if I’d have to get out of the line up and go right through as my flight left at 2:10 pm. They said you will make it, stay in line. I get near the front of the line 2 hours later... hundreds of people were in this line and they only had 2/10 customs agents available!!! I ask another representative how far my gate is since my flight leaves in 30 min and she told me “no you missed it. but don’t worry others will be missing it too”. So no I did not miss it, you caused me to miss it cause I already asked if I would and you people told me no. I run to the gate, which has now changed to the other end of the airport, so I run to that gate and it is 10 min before the flight is to take off. I ask the desk agent at the gate and he tells me the flight has already left. Others had missed it too due to the insane customs line up. So the plane left 20 mins earlier than scheduled with only half it’s passengers..... unbelievable!!! When I went to the service desk they did not show any sympathy or apologetic behaviours whatsoever."

Cons: "Flight left Toronto at midnight, the crew served a meal and it was about 2 hours after departure that the cabin lights were finally turned off. On an overnight, overseas flight, turn off the lights and service breakfast with a noon arrival like all the flights I've taken to London do."

Cons: "They gave my 70-year old mother only a few hours notice that they were changing her one-stop four-hour 6AM flight into an 8AM multi stop 14-hour marathon. In fact, she was already asleep when they changed her flight, so she was already at the airport when she found out about the change. To do this to a 70-year old woman is reprehensible. Worse, after 2-hours with customer service, nobody there made any real attempt to remedy the situation or offer any compensation. Worst airline experience EVER."

Cons: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Cons: "The process of checking my bag was brutal. It took an hour and half of waiting in line because the staff's management of the flow of people was so chaotic. Finally, a staff member realized that certain passengers were at risk of missing their flight and invited those passengers (like me) to jump to the head of the line. Otherwise, no communication from the staff to the queue of anxious people."

Cons: "We were in first class, and no On Demand IFE!!! You do have a personal screen in the seatback, but they only play continual loop movies. For us, we started with one movie, but then due to technical difficulties, the crew had to reboot the entire system. So once it was back up and running, they switched the movie. And even that one didn't play through....apparently, at some point they determine its "bedtime" and turn off the IFE!! Crazy in this day and age!!! Also, the plane is old and REALLY worn. Lots of dirt, tired seats, yucky bathrooms, etc. This plane needs an overhaul!! No storage anywhere in the seats either, which was shocking. And the angle lay flat seats are certainly fantastic in comparison to Coach seats, but still hard to sleep and get comfortable."

Pros: "I know the flight between Lisbon and Amsterdam is only 3 hours, but it could have been better. First, boarding was a mess because no one could hear announcements being made. Once on the plane, things only got worse. I'm a small person- only 5'4" and even I had no leg room! This was made worse when the seat in front reclined- very claustrophobic. There were also zero entertainment options."

Cons: "The 8 hour flight took forever. From boarding taking over an hour (I admit it was a full flight), the TV sets didn't work. They finally got most of the TV sets to work but we could only watch one movie that has several glitches (restating the movie after 15 minutes and volumes had to constantly be adjusted). The good options were limited for a pregnant women (sordfish - high in Mercury, turkey sandwich - not supposed to ear cold cuts, and meatballs (I unfortunately dint eat beef). I should have opted for the vegetarian meal but I wasn't pregnant when I booked my flight and the crew could not accommodate me. Also I think the should have servered one more round of drinks for a ver long flight)."
