Cons: "I had been checked in and when I arrived at the gate they told me and my 13 year old son that we could not fly on our direct flight to Medellín because it was overbooked and they had decided to change planes. Absolutely ridiculous, it was about 20-30 passengers that were denied boarding, including us. They sent us on a plane through Bogota, then to Medellín, arriving 7 hours later and only with a dumb breakfast voucher. I spoke to them that I had an important medical appointment for which I was travelling for, it did not matter. They made no no accommodations whatsoever."

Pros: "We just spent the last 3 weeks in South America including Peru, Ecuador and Galapagos. We took a total of 9 flights with Avianca including a couple of 50-55 minute connections. Flights were consistently on time and service was great. Amazingly, our luggage made it too despite the short connections. Service was very good. The crew was pleasant and they were always serving drinks and food/ snacks even on short flights although food is usual coach fare. All in all a very positive experience. Most of the North American airlines could learn a thing or two regarding punctuality, service and baggage handling."

Picture process took 4 times. Nobody tells you that you have to transfer your own bags from Delta to West Jet. I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."

Thankfully others on my flight were also late so the Ottawa bound plane did not leave on time"

I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."

It was great that I was able to create my own playlist with as many songs as I liked from their music library, for the duration of my flight. Staff woke me up and asked me if I wanted food in the morning which I thought was nice. On other airlines, Sometimes they just let you sleep and you miss out. Lighting is great for sleeping. Food is OKAY (im a picky eater) with vegetarian options. Provided pillow, blankets,AND HEADPHONES! Headphones are a must have for a long flight so it's great that they provide it. It was my firat flight with Latam and I look forward to flying with them again."

Pros: "My flight was delayed many hours so I wasn’t going to make my connecting flight in NY it to Toronto, There service agent was great and found me a seat on a later flight that was direct. Overall, happy with their service found me the best flight available."
Cons: "I never could figure out why the flight was delayed, there were a couple of other delayed AA flights too. I was supposed to get to Toronto at 2pm for a 5pm presentation, but I didn’t get in until 9. I also felt their website was deceptive or maybe needs updating,When I bought my ticket It stated that I would get 3 bags complimentary since it was Canada that wasn’t the case, I was charged for $60 for both."

Cons: "My daughter is in a wheelchair. She was a carry on (I e I carry her on board). The staff knew this but failed to notify the airport. Hence, we had to deplane without a jetway. I didn’t. The steep stairs made it unsafe. Had to wait a long time for a handcranked lift. No one really knew what they were doing and they wanted to put her in an adult wheelchair in spite of my identifying safety issues. My daughter was scared and upset. Epic failure on AA’s part. Communication breakdown on many levels. Shameful."
Pros: "Great Wifi! After reading bad reviews it was actually ok. Flew business on the A319 (single aisle plane) and it reminded me of qantas 737. I think for a short haul day flight I may just put up with economy instead for the price. Food is ok. I think with AA you have to pick your aircraft, it makes a difference what plane you fly as to what you get in business class. FA's were great. Overall I'd fly them again. Food was ok."
Cons: "They asked everyone to put the window shades down but I fly window seat because I like looking out! It was a day flight too! LAX T4 lounge is being refurbished so you need to go to T5 and make sure it's not the regional lounge!"

Cons: "Outside of one drink service we never saw or heard from the crew. Not one food item for purchase was ever offered. I am glad I ate in the terminal or it would have been bad for me."
Cons: "The service had much to be desired. The stewardess who was serving our section was curt and rude. Whenever I would ask for a napkin (that she had forgotten to give with my drink, I might add) or any other questions, she would come off as annoyed and as if I was testing her patience, which I did not appreciate as I had been having a horrible experience with American Airlines as it was. Also, why do you not serve milk with your coffee? The flight only served half and half, and I cannot have cream in my coffee at all. So unless you want to clean up my diarrhea in your toilets, I suggest you start giving options. It's not like milk is a scarce delicacy in the US. How is it that other airlines offer both milk and cream, but I get told by your staff, rudely, that half and half "is milk" and that it's all you have? Unbelievable. I hate to be a b*** but honestly this isn't the first time that I got treated like this on AA. I always seem to have a horrible experience with this airline."

Cons: "There was no one at the gate to deplane us in Toronto. There for I missed my westjet connection home by 5 minutes. I was looking at the plane by the jet way unable to get on. AA staff would not pay for a hotel for being so late to Toronto because the wether was not thier fault, which I agree. But the lack of staffing was and a hotel should have been provided to me due to this. I will never fly America Airlines again due to my incoming flight to Toronto and the out bound to Philadelphia (cancelled on the way to Philly for no apparent reason)."

Cons: "Overbooked flight, poor resource management, nickel & diming for snacks on a 5hr flight, lounge access (not Priority Pass, charge $60 for a single visit), no room for onboard luggage, safety video fluff"
Pros: "The crew was attentive and boarding went smoothly. The seat had more room under the seat in front of me, my purse was not jammed in."
Cons: "I hate paying extra for almost every seat on the plane. It's a con job. Food selection was terrible. If I'm paying anyway, give me better choices. No monitors in plane at all. Entertainment needs to be viewed on a tablet or laptop of some sort."
