Cons: Had to pay 100$ for an extra bag because I was 4kg over weight then also had to transfer my bags myself during my layover. There was no entertainment on a long haul flight from London to Toronto. And zero space on the lonhaul flight. The least space on a plane I’ve ever had and I fly almost every week. I will never fly air transat again unless absolutely necessary.

Cons: flight was delayed in both directions; very few announcements; the crew were ok, but there was not much service in the hour we waited foe the plane to take off and during the flight

Good 7.3

Pros: The crew were very friendly, sweet and accommodating. I had a seat by the exit which I luckily didn't have to pay extra for and the leg room was ample and really helpful on a long flight. The meal was pretty good, but I really wished airlines would stop wasting so much plastic - I think there should be a way we can support the environment better when flying.

Cons: I didn't realize Air Transat was a bare-bones airline (not that my flight was cheap in cost) - we didn't have pillows or blankets for the flight (10 hours) and had to pay for them! Seems like that should be standard on a long haul flight. The seats are very narrow with poor back support, and my back started to hurt 5 hours in. Many people were standing in the aisles as it was so uncomfortable. I was very cold throughout the flight, which was another uncomfortable aspect. One of the bathrooms was out of order which resulted in everyone using the same one - you can imagine how smelly and messy it got.

Pros: The pilot was honest and concerned with the safety of the aircraft. That was most appreciated.

Cons: Flight was 3 hours late. There was no liquor or even a small snack provided. Minimum service by the flight crew. Most disappointed!

Pros: Staff - Friendly, polite, professional

Cons: Couldn't see TV screen Seat wouldn't recline Cramped and uncomfortable for such a long flight. When I arrived in Vancouver and picked up my luggage, the wheel and part of the suitcase were gone (broken off) . How do I make a claim for this? Thank you

Pros: flight was on time and our baggage arrived with us. The pilot landed in miserable weather and did a very good job.

Cons: the seat could not be adjusted for tilt and the air nozzles were not working properly in that the air flow was very weak and the cabin was quite hot. We asked the attendant what they would do if we passed out. She let the captain know but nothing could really be done to correct the air flow.

Pros: Great price! For the price, we didn't expect much, just travel and get there safe - NO FRILLS. We paid a little extra for legroom and are happy this was not an inflated price. Paying in advance for our bag and getting a small discount was also appreciated. "Get what you pay for" without feeling "nickled and dimed" is what we consider economical and fare treatment.

Cons: Again "you get what you pay for" is considered. However if I was to be critical, the choice of movies was a little stressful and one sided. (Star Wars and The Avengers). I brought my own entertainment but I felt bad for the Older generation who may have preferred something a little more relaxing and less CGI explosions. Also the interior decor and hardware of the plane was seriously aged and worn, which could use for an upgrade soon.

Cons: Delayed flight, my seat was bumped from an aisle to a window seat although I checked in online and secured the Seat 24hrs prior to departure. The excuse I was given by staff is that the person sitting next to me is a “big” person so it’s for my benefit. Well the row I had planned to sit in had two people with an empty seat in between. And they were not “big” as was said. my seat I was moved to had sick children behind my seat whom were coughing and kicking the back of my seat and the row was completely full. An aweful experience and to top it off, the planes entertainment program was broken so we were provided with no entertainment, video or audio.

Good 6.5

Pros: Boarding was good and the crew were helpful/friendly.

Cons: Flight delayed 3 hours. Aisle Seat narrow and was hit a lot every time someone went bye so there was no napping for me however since it was a direct flight and only 3 hours I would take it again. I was glad when we landed.

Mediocre 3.3

Cons: Had to pay 100$ for an extra bag because I was 4kg over weight then also had to transfer my bags myself during my layover. There was no entertainment on a long haul flight from London to Toronto. And zero space on the lonhaul flight. The least space on a plane I’ve ever had and I fly almost every week. I will never fly air transat again unless absolutely necessary.

Okay 5.6

Pros: Food was better than on my flight to Porto

Cons: There was no water in the washrooms from the start of an 8 hour flight!

Mediocre 2.0

Pros: Nothing

Okay 5.0

Pros: flight was on time and our baggage arrived with us. The pilot landed in miserable weather and did a very good job.

Cons: the seat could not be adjusted for tilt and the air nozzles were not working properly in that the air flow was very weak and the cabin was quite hot. We asked the attendant what they would do if we passed out. She let the captain know but nothing could really be done to correct the air flow.

Pros: Plus seating is worth the extra cost on this type of flight.

Pros: Crew was great. Flight was on time.

Cons: This older plane had tiny seats in the seat backs. My phone screen was bigger. Thought we might get a meal on a flight of this length and at this time of day.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
