Any airline might need to cancel a flight, but WOW Air needs to work at its communication.Was it weather in Chicago (the forecast was fine), Reykavik (but another flight headed out the same time), or were we lied to? We learned our flight was cancelled at the gate. Other passengers received phone messages, we did not. There was nothing on the monitors in the airport to say the flight was cancelled. Cannot WOW and the airport ensure this is communicated in multiple ways? We were grateful WOW put us up in a nice hotel for two days, but did it have to be two days? We re-booked and got a confirming email, but with no evidence of our reservation on the app or the website, we headed to the airport not knowing whether we had a seat or not. Hope this helps to prevent customers turning away from WOW because the concept of WOW is a good one.

The connecting flight waited for us in Reykavik. The stewardess was helpful in helping my wife and I find a place to sit together. All else went smoothly.
Our first flight was delayed so they held the aircraft for us! Crew were accommodating and helpful!
There was no in flight food, and due to the fact that our initial flight was late it meant we had no chance to purchase food at the airport. We were informed by email, but only the same morning, by which time we were already in the air!

Had to run cause first flight very late Why does this airline calculate to not let people having a break, real food, shopping, smoking in Rekjavik. Late in Bru too + half a mile to walk No food available on board, only junk sad!
In Iceland, I didn’t think the boarding process could be any worse then the first leg of the flight, but it was. They were making announcements looking for 5 volunteers to stay overnight and catch the next flight out as this one was full. I believe I was the only volunteer and somehow i still ended up making the flight. This caused a lot of confusion with my friend picking me up in London. No passengers knew what was happening in Iceland as there was no communication from the airline and panic had started to spread. They didn’t even tell us we were to board a bus once through the gate, that took us to our plane. No one directed us once on the tarmac, so on the plane people from the front were coming from the back door.... chaos.

BRU-CHI arrived very late, no time for anything at Reykjavik like eating/shoping. This won't make me spend more on the plane! Same problem return CHI-Reykjavik, had to run for making the connection Pilot talking every 10 mn + light on all the time .True on the 4 WOW flights Crew traying to sale junk all the time -BUT- No real food avalable on the 4 flights Iven not 1 cup of water without a credit card. Very stupid and not legal Why don't you make people pay to go restroom?
The cabin crew, their uniforms, the pink lights, the menu for souvenirs.
Lack of communication, fees are very expensive for luggage. I flew Toronto to Iceland and Iceland to London. In Toronto the crew arrived late and had people who checked in online come and show their iD documents. People were confused and lining up for regular boarding so half way through they just started boarding. It was ridiculous.
I already emailed WOW customer service and have yet to receive a response. Please respond to my email as it has been past your typical turnaround time
