The flight was delayed for almost an hour but I think the flight attendants did a good job on letting the flyers know what was going on.
I missed my flight to Osaka, cause must claimed baggage, re-checked and immigration & security clearanced in at Pudong.
Everything about our flight went very well, and most were better than expected. The crew were very helpful. Our seats had plenty of room in economy. This were done very efficiently and with concern for value.
Our Vegan meals were rather tasteless and uninteresting. The only entertainment was what we brought with us and overhead monitors.
Crew seemed friendly.
Boarding was delayed 30 min. The attendant who spoke to me, spoke in clear English. The one giving the announcement, her pronunciation was not completely clear. For a routine speech like that, it should be well-rehearsed and clear.

Crew and flight were professional and courteous.
Passengers from Beijing were rude, and consistently snorting and spitting throughout the entire flight. Not just one person but everyone around us. Very disgusting and nauseating listening to that for 6+hours. I had earbuds in the entire flight and could still hear the spitting...
Great flight and entertainment throughout.

Boarding was efficient
A lot not to like. In consistency following their own rules - i.e. asking some passengers to move from crew seats but allowing others to sit there, phones are not allowed to be used on flight mode but iPads etc are (even though both are capable of emitting radio waves). Food is very bad, even for someone familiar with asian food. Most of the staff cannot speak English properly. Constant announcements throughout the flight, even for minor things for example announcing the sale of duty free items
flight was late, barely made my connection (which was also late).
