Pros: "Head flight attendant who gave all the message was not friendly, rushed through her messages like she was not enjoying herself at her job."
Cons: "We left the gate late by 20 minutes only to stand in line with 8 or so other planes waiting to taxi to runway for take off. No explanation was given. However pilot did make up 30 minutes of that time in the air."
Cons: "no food available to be purchased. we left almost 2 hours later than scheduled and were very hungry."
Pros: "Fast efficient process through security. Well labeled and helpful airport staff. Plane wasn’t very full. Had a row to myself which was great. Entertainment available on smartphone, iPad or lap top."

The first plane had a hole in it from hitting something the flight was completely cancelled only one out of the two people at the counter was helping a line of people, but due to a system error people were not checked in . I had to get 4 different print outs of my boarding pass. the second aircrafts air conditioner didn't work, the third plane the back door would not close. I spent over 12 hours in the airport and couldn't get home till the following day . The airline did not have a hotel reservation ready as promised and had to wait an additional 15 minutes while they were telling me I was responsible for my own room. Eventually they got me a room and gave me a voucher. I would never fly or recommend West Jet i just don't feel safe."

We had to wait until they had processed everyone else in line, even though we had gotten there first, because either they were in the "sky priority" line or because maybe they had pre-bought their seat assignments. After a tense 20 minutes of waiting, they closed the flight and let us have our seats. Then, at the gate, they confiscated two of our most important carry on bags and checked them because they said that children are not allowed a carry on item -- despite paying full freight for their seats! It was very nerve-wracking at our arrival destinations as these two items were not padlocked and were the very last to come on the conveyor belt."

But I change my mind and decided to have a cary on. when I arrived at the airport I told an agent that I wanted to bring my suitcase as carry-on and she said that it was too large. So I had to wait in line. When I finally fot to the counter the agent and the agent realized I had already paid. She said that I could try take my suitcase under my own responsibility because she thought security would send me back. I was very surprised to hear this because it is a computer case. I did not have any problems and was able to embark. The plane had not bern clean. The pocket underneath my table had a used kleenex and the table of the person seated next to my had coffee spilled. During the 5:50 hrs only once were we offer a drink. Really bad service for an international flight."

She stated that i may not get breakfast but then stewardess did provide. Made it to Austin very happy!"

Then, after he finally arrived with a tray full of coffees, there was an issue with the jet's computer and had to reset it and we had to wait even more. When we finally arrived, our Gate was taken by other plane already and we had to wait (more) for the first one to be available for us. Then, when we finally got our Gate, there was another issue, now with the "finger". They weren't able to move it and connect it to the plane to get off of it. So we had to wait AGAIN. And finally as soon as we got off the plane, they were supposed to give us our carry ons on the aisle (Because it was a small plane CR700) , but again, we had to wait almost 10 minutes so that they could send the luggage... To make things worse, I had a first class ticket and I couldn't get the perks of it at the airport. Because they said I wasn't flying in an international flight. Come on?! Canada->USA->Mexico is not International??? You lost me AA."

Cons: "Very uncomfortable seats and spacement between the seats too small and you feel very cramped specially when the person in front of you reclines his seat you can hardly move."
Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."
Pros: "Boarded on time, left on time, smooth flight, early arrival. What’s not to like? NB: Food on this short trip wasn’t available, thus wasn’t a thing, thus my low rating. Great bottled water, tho. ;)"

The lady acted like it was my fault that the other person had let me through with a cart and a full sized suitcase. A second young lady was a bit more sympathetic and helpful. Changed my return flight to Alaska Air."

There were standby people on the flight who got much better seating than I. I seemed to get the last consideration. I am treated much better on other airlines with much less early booking. also later after take of it was made known to me there were empty seats further up in the cabin. When I email Air Canada they said they would get back to me within 30 days about my concerns."

An hour later a bus service was offered leaving in ten minutes which many of us raced to catch on our own with no one to show us how to get to the bus. The bus we were told to look for was the wrong bus. Of course our luggage didn't make it and that took another hour to register at our destination as every one else on the bus didn't get their luggage either. Bus driver got lost but passengers were able to show him the way. This is the third time in four flights Air Canada has lost our luggage. The worst was the NO ONE ever smiles, we were watching for it, and certainly NO ONE ever says we are sorry you are inconvenienced which would go a long way to make the delays and changes more tolerable."

Selection of drinks very limited. 2, Staff persisted in speaking mostly French, on an international flight. Some announcements were made only in French. As a Canadian, I can follow French, but let us remember that English is the international language. To use French is not fair to other nationalities, who expect English. 3. Seats far too close together for a long flight. There was more legroom on the Jazz flight from Montreal to Ottawa! 4. Entertainment kept breaking down. Headphones for my wife did not work, and eventually both of our screens went dead. Her's quit right in the middle of a movie. Bad!! 5. Boarding passes had zones on them, but these were totally disregarded in boarding. This resulted on overcrowding, long waits, etc. Hard on older people!"

Having an airline background and now the HR mgr of a very large hotel chain, I understand many things that are out of a companies control, ie: weather etc, but....never have I witnessed airline staff YELLING at passengers "it's not our fault and the agents need to leave so they don't go into overtime?" Yes, some passengers were difficult, but it's part of the industry. If you can't handle w/care and service - don't choose as a profession. Very unimpressed with AC's customer service, guest recovery - they made it seem like it was more of an inconvenience for them. Can't imagine "choosing" to fly AC again!"

I wanted to simply cancel the flight that I was automatically rebooked on; however, I have been on hold with customer service for HOURS and can not get through. I wish Air Canada had compensated me for this inconvenience. On my way back, my checked in baggage was badly damaged. I realize that the airline is not responsible for this and it is the airport crew. Overall a good experience. I will definitely take this flight again, but will not check in my hand baggage. The crew is very friendly and helpful - great service."

Cons: "First of all, the flight schedule was changed on June 3rd, after the passenger had already left the country for her trip. The flight leaving Milan was moved up BY 6 HOURS!!! When we called the 3rd party used to book the flight, they were not helpful in trying to find a more reasonable option that was similar to the original itinerary booked. So, the passenger got to the airport at 4 am for their 6 am flight and was not able to check in because the 3rd party agency had not confirmed her seats on that flight. No one was available from Air Canada to assist with this issue. The passenger had to work with the Milan Airport information desk and they were able to find out that the 3rd party had never cancelled her seats on the original itinerary so her seats could not be confirmed on the 6 am flight they had "rebooked" her on. As there were no airline personnel to assist, by the time this was found out, the passenger had missed her flight. The person at the Milan airport information desk had to help find a different flight for her to travel on a different airline. This was the WORST experience I have ever encountered!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
