Delta was on time and pleasantly professional.
I was originally supposed to fly out on 2/18/22 and return on 2/22/22. I drove three hours to get to the Albany airport. While waiting Delta sent a message stating that my flight was delayed an hour so I would not make my connection in Laguardia. I waited 35 minutes to talk to a Delta agent in the Albany airport. She said there were no other flights until Sunday 2/20/22. I rebooked my flight for the following Thursday 2/24/22, but she could not book my returning flight on Sunday 2/27/22. She gave me a phone number to call. I stayed on the line with the Delta agent for 2 hours to book my returning flight. This was not optimal because I have to work on Monday 2/28/22. On my returning flight, the flight from Atlanta to Albany was delayed three hours. This placed me arriving in Albany at 2:30 am. By the time I found my car and drove three hours back to my house it was 6:00 am 2/28/22. I had to take a half-day off so I could sleep before work. In total, I took a half-day off on 2/1822 to arrive at Albany on time for my flight, drove six hours for nothing, and had to take a half-day on my returning flight.
Delta is a great airline with great options to fit travelers budget/comfort

We paid for preferred seating for extra leg room. On 3of the 4 flights the preferred seating were regular seats with no extra leg room. It was deceitful to advertise those seats at preferred seating. I would not have wasted my money paying extra had I known what I was getting.

The seats were also so narrow that you could not change position at all, so it was very uncomfortable for a 8.5 hour flight. And I weigh less than 45 kg (100lbs). I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me felt. My seat was toward the back of the plane, and it took the crew over an hour to reach us once they started the drink and food carts. One time my row got entirely skipped for the drink cart, even though we were awake. This was a problem because they didn't come by for another 5.5 hours with more water/drinks, and they did not give us water bottles for that time period like Delta does. The food wasn't tasty, but it was eatable. The movie options were great, but that was all I could do on the screen because half of mine did not respond to touch, which meant no games and I could only select movies on the left half of my screen. Weird."

I had to get 4 different print outs of my boarding pass. the second aircrafts air conditioner didn't work, the third plane the back door would not close. I spent over 12 hours in the airport and couldn't get home till the following day . The airline did not have a hotel reservation ready as promised and had to wait an additional 15 minutes while they were telling me I was responsible for my own room. Eventually they got me a room and gave me a voucher. I would never fly or recommend West Jet i just don't feel safe."

We ended in an airplane with two exit rows, one near the front and the other near the back. Our seats were right behind the rear exit row in the back of the plane. The seats did not recline and there was limited leg look because the exit row seats were aligned differently due to the crew seat next to the door. Also, the bathroom was right in front of the row in front of us and so it was busy, noisy and smelled. Obviously we didn't get our free drinks either. Now I'm having to fight with American trying to get a refund of the money we spent for the Main Cabin extra fees. The fun never stops. I will never fly American again."

So my bag couldn't be checked through, and they wanted to charge me for it even though it was a connection to the international flight I had just taken. A truly dreadful experience."

My purse fell through the gap onto the floor behind my seat. Had to ask the person behind me 3 times to please hand it back to me. The armrest doesnt go up which helps at times getting in and out. It is a large uncomfortable impediment. The remotes were all over the place, down in the seat, on the floor. No one could find the plug in for the headphones. It is in the most ridiculous place!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed for nearly 5 hours. There was no accommodations for the delay, except for apologies. Very limited snacks were provided, but this huge delay cut into our reservations and vacation in our resort."

Pros: "What I absolutely adored is that I left my phone in Philly, and the gate agents put it on the next flight up to Boston. I picked it up from American Luggage Services in Boston the next day. Priceless!"

Cons: "The airport was super crowded and the space in the plane was cramped (and I am a small person - 120 pounds). The plane was not clean and I actually picked up a virus on the plane and am still sick. I wiped down all of the surface area around my seat and still got sick. Airline travel is miserable and crowded and there is minimum service."

Cons: "Their restrictions for carry on size... had to check my small suitcase because it was over their size limit. I was able to carry it on on my trip going (fits perfectly in the overhead bin) but on the way back it was too big.."

Cons: "I felt that having to pay $50 extra for a seat when I checked in was pretty deceptive and unethical. I think most people would agree that when they purchase a boarding pass, it is assumed that it includes a seat. Having to pay extra for a seat was something I did not plan for and it was out of my budget, but I had no choice, because I had to get home somehow! I'll be going without groceries this week due to this unplanned expense."
Pros: "The flight from San Diego to Chicago went well. We left on time and arrived a little earlier than expected. I was worried about the weather delaying our flight once we go to Chicago but we encounter different problems. as I will explain next."

The flight attendants seemed lacking in knowledge, friendliness, consideration, or empathy."

Cons: "Air Canada changed our seating on day of travel. I had ordered tickets over a month in advance and scheduled seating for my wife and I on our 3 leg flight. Air Canada changed our seating on the 1st and 3rd leg and we were no longer sitting together."

Pros: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Cons: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."

Cons: "Checking in and luggage drop off was chaos. One useless staff person failed to tell people where to line up to drop bags off until the end. She just stood there and if you asked a question she gave you the wrong answer. In Newerk we had to wait 2 hours for our bags. The man st the AC office had no idea why the bags were not coming and could not get someone to tell him and emotionally dithered and then fell apart. I will avoid travelling on AC again if I can. Worst flight ever. They did not have enough food on board either. At least the pilots were competent."

Cons: "This flight was delayed by 45 minutes which made me miss my connecting flight. I asked the flight attendants if they could help me get to the front of the plane to see if I could catch my connecting flight and they wouldn't help me. Due to this I had to wait over 4 and a half hours at the airport wheee another 350 people were waiting for accommodations. I was in the airport until 4:30 in the morning because there weren't enough air cansas representatives. In addition, they were working really slowly because they kept getting up to chat with eachother."

Cons: "To begin, our flight was delayed an hour into Toronto. We asked the flight attendant about our connecting flight and they said they would find an answer. It ended up that we landed just as the flight was scheduled to leave. Why they could delay pur flight but would not hold another flight by 20 minutes is very questionable. Then we got to customer service, the rep told us that we could only get on the next flight going out tomorrow at the same time which meant 24 hours lost. Of our vacation- which hotels already booked and tours already booked. When I asked if there was anyway we could get in earlier the service person told me "I should be grateful because some people have had to wait multiple days to get to their destinations." When we finally did board the flight the next day we were not served any food, no snacks, and no drink for the entire overnight flight."

Pros: "I like that the seats have tv's and seats are comfortable There is also a great selection of things to watch Including Indy Canadian content So great! Crew was great as usual I very much prefer to fly air Canada over the American carriers"

I didn't get a reminder check-in email when I was flying out and that worried me a bit that there may be something wrong with my reservation. It also irritated me that because I had booked my flight through Kayak and not Air Canada directly I was not able to make any changes to the reservation online - I had to call their reservation phone number (from another country) and be put on hold for 20 minutes (so needless to say it was an expensive phone call)."

Cons: "I get it, weather happens, but airlines should have figured out by now how to make any issues that come from that as painless as possible. Air Canada did not have it together. There was little communication and coordination. People had to wait multiple times in ungodly long lines while agents spent way too much time with each customer. There was misinformation and lack of information given by agents and at times no one to help at all. When there's weather it should be all hands on deck until the effected customers get to where they need to be. Otherwise it's an aggravating and nearly intolerable experience. Commercial airlines have been around for 60+ years - figure it out already."

Not even a light snack or a can of juice is too much to ask for, considering the cost and comfort cut backs to fly with Air Canada"

Because of the timely updates I did not hear one person complain in my earshot range. Apart from the delay the service was great, as always."

Then I got up to use the washroom and when I came out I had to wait 30 minutes at the back of the plane standing until the servers were done serving drinks and snacks/food. Then the landing was terrifying as the plane was swooping/shaking much more than normal, even the board crew looked a bit worried. Could NOT wait to be done of the flight, one of my worst ever."

I kept getting emails of a change in schedule, but no reason was given by personnel at the gate. This was really a bad situation for me as I was meeting my daughter in Toronto who was flying alone with her infant son and she needed my help."
