Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Super comfortable business class seats"
Cons: "Didn't take this flight because it was late and would have caused me to miss my connection. I got rebooked on a different flight that delayed me 10+ hours."
Cons: "Foods really mediocre at best. They serve food in heated plastic packaging!"
Cons: "The flight was as usual delayed. It has become usual scenario to loose connecting flights from London."
Pros: "Not much ch, safe arrival in BCN, the captains communication."
Cons: "The crew felt like they were wanting to yell at people and they took power pride actions to do so. If I did not know better, I thought there was a moment when the meal service was actually being tossed...but that would require effort and exertion. Asking for ice is a no no, please do not do so."
Pros: "On board crew was friendly and capable."
Cons: "My first and last flight on the CRJ 9. It's much less comfortable than a prop plane, for a 90 minute+ flight."
Pros: "The way that the pilote landed"
Cons: "The services"
Pros: "Friendly, attentive staff. Good service. My toddler, husband and I boarded first because of our child, so we had plenty of time to get comfy on the plane. The flight attendants served sufficient drinks and snacks for the 1 hour flight."
Cons: "Flight was delayed two hours so my toddler and I had significantly longer to wait, which is not too fun. However, I understand this is unavoidable sometimes."
Cons: "The flight got cancelled way in advance and nobody neither airlines nor webjet.com informed us about it. Also, nobody could replace our tickets for the next day either. So our flight didn't happen and we had to drive to Washington DC to find a flight from there. So we will never buy any tickets from Kayak or Webjet.com! Extremely poor service"
Pros: "Everything else was great"
Cons: "No movies"
Cons: "serious delays and the staff were not very friendly. Weren't willing to go above and beyond for travellers that had been sitting in airports all day! Probably one of the poorest crews i have encountered on Air Canada."
Pros: "There was no entertainment !"
Cons: "Some of the crew were rude no food or drinks No entertainment of any sort for long trips"
Cons: "Sat on tarmac for over an hour prior to takeoff due to "refuelling difficulties - plane fault. No coffee on a 6 am flight!!! No offer of water, snack whilst waiting on plane."
Pros: "Pleasant crew"
Pros: "Great trip very easy very quick! Seats where comfy I had a good flight"
Pros: "loved the free movies"
Pros: "Son enjoyed seeing Niagara Falls from the air"
Pros: "We got to Toronto"
Cons: "Those seats are tight. Also, the crew at the Toronto airport seemed to get mixed up a bit showing us where the transfer queue was."
Pros: "Staff were good, probably doing the best they could with what they had to work with."
Cons: "I'm 6'4" and a Air Canada Rouge 737 isn't built for guys/girls like me. Give us a bit more legroom!"
Pros: "The snack selection is excellent"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "Flights were on time"
Cons: "Forcing us to check carry on bags, and not very courteous about it."
Pros: "Oft times Air Canada crews can be a bit less than friendly/hospitable but this crew were smiling, friendly and I thought very above average for an Air Canada crew"
Cons: "Same as above. Flight delayed by 45 minutes. No explanation given as to why... no inclement weather or other issues that day."
Cons: "Airline list baggage. Had to wait 3 hours to get luggage which was put it the next flight"
Pros: "Nice plane on short flight. Why can't they use the nice planes on the long haul flights?"
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Food not so good and far in between"
Pros: "Flight left and arrived on time and crew was courteous and efficient. Food was surprisingly good."
Cons: "There was no entertainment, period, unless you wanted to rent an IPad-type device for $10 to view movies and such. Jeez, on a transatlantic flight? It's not the fault of the crew, of course. It's the front office where I suspect there might be those who are a tad bit removed from the front lines"
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "The flight was changed too often."
Pros: "I liked nothing except disembarking the aircraft after a horrible experience."
Cons: "On my departure flight from Vancouver to Isaka it was cancelled. They created a new flight for us the next morning but nobody from AC staff knew about it until very late. AC information desk said that AC counter in airport opened normally at 7:45 am but our departure flight was scheduled for 8:30 and we were at airport at 5a. It was utter confusion by AC"
Pros: "The check in was fast and easy, even was able to get a better seat. The cabin and seat were comfortable, the crew very nice. There wasn't any food which is never offered on thse shortish flights. Flight was on time and smooth."
Cons: "Nothing to do with the flight. Just the passport control took a long time in Toronto, which is not the airlines problem."
Pros: "Roomy seats"
Cons: "All the flights left late. Not enough room for carry on luggage. No free booze on International flight"
Pros: "The smoothness with which the pilot flew the plane was remarkable. I felt very safe."
Cons: "1) For a four hour flight it's sad that we were not even offered a snack we didn't have to purchase. After being delayed for more than 2 hours many of the passengers were hungry by the time we boarded. 2) The flight attendant passed my row without offering me a drink and when I asked I was given room temperature apple juice and not given any ice."
Pros: "Great service good food and drinks love it!"
Cons: "There was a baby kept crying the whole trip but I know that's something you can't help. Hahaha but everything else was good"
Pros: "Flight took 1 hour instead of the scheduled 1.5 hours."
Cons: "Flight was a half hour late to board and then another hour late to actually take off."
Pros: "Boarding was pretty quick, efficient, on time"
Cons: "Seats had least legroom of any plane I can remember. I'm not that tall and my knees were in the seat pocket the whole 5 hr flight. Also, the seats could stand to be a lot cushier. I felt like I was sitting on a piece of cardboard after the first 2 hours."
Pros: "I liked flying in a small plane; with few people aboard; very uncomplicated."
Cons: "Bathroom on the plane was very small; although clean there was a bad odor, not sure it was from a previous occupant, the water or something, but it was most unpleasant."
Pros: "Flying out RDU, it was delayed for 3+ hours without any reason. Took close to an hour to change flights at RDU with a very grumpy agent. I was told that I could delay a day and fly the same route the next day, or fly to Toronto, stay there a night paid by Air Canada. Was advised to stay at Toronto since the flight from RDU to Toronto delay excessively with high frequency (and it was delayed 6+ hour the next day). Flied to Toronto, was shuffled through different lines without getting anything. At 10:40PM, after arrived 1 hour 40+ minutes, sent to a line with more than 100 people in front of me..... :-( It's a horrible experience!!!!!!!!!"
Pros: "A wonderful agent named Danyelle Mariner in Raleigh did an excellent job finding us an alternative flight when she saw that we would not make our connecting flight in Toronto. Thanks"
Cons: "There seems to be a problem with the Toronto flights in the afternoon. If they are all being rescheduled change the plan."
Cons: "Couldn't get ahold of anyone at the airline to reschedule"
Cons: "need more room in economy class."
Pros: "We had a pretty uneventful flight from Tampa to Toronto using Air Canada. That is a good thing. The airline offers complementary juices and drinks of the nonalcoholic variety. No complaints."
Pros: "I liked the fact that it was a non-stop flight."
Cons: "There were so many things I didn't like. First of all, the departure time was delayed by 30 minutes. Not cool. Secondly, the plane itself felt very small and old. It was very cold inside the plane which made the ride very uncomfortable. Thirdly, there was absolutely no in-flight entertainment on this flight, making it a very boring experience. I would not recommend this kind of air travel!"
Cons: "We waited nearly two hours AFTER WE BOARDED THE PLANE for a flat tire to be changed, or so we were told. In typical airline fashion, we were told several times that the delay would probably take about 15 minutes, turning into nearly 2 hours. In combination with the change I described above and the 9.5 hour flight to Tokyo, we were completely done in for 2-3 days after we got to Tokyo."
Cons: "The flight was chaneed gates and not announced that it had been done, we just noticed that it had been reassigned. Not a big deal but it was a 10 minute walk to the new gate and could have resulted in a missed flight if we hadn't been paying attention. The flight was also delayed over an hour and still listed as an on time boarding for the original boarding time, people can make choices about eating or restroom breaks if they know they have an extra hour, also when travelling with a toddler it helps with planning feedings and naps so that the baby doesn't scream the whole flight."
Cons: "It was good"
Pros: "Really flight was very good, but seats to family member given separate seperate."
Pros: "On time. Comfortable. Good service. But small overhead baggage space. Had to put my carry on under a seat. For those francophones, you'll find that the flight attendant's (there's only one) bilingualism is rather poor. YYZ Toronto Pearson Airport however disappointed me: very poor indications for connecting flights and gate areas."
Cons: "The original AC flight left an hour late with no explanation. I literally ran to catch my connecting flight. Though the plane was still sitting there and still connected, they would not let me board. The AC rep was extremely rude and uncaring. He acted as though it was my fault. He rudely said the next flight is at 8:00 that night. It was currently 7:30 in the morning! And I had another flight to catch. He just kept telling me to sit down. Another rep eventually got me on a flight via standby, but I had to reschedule my next flight and it was a race to catch the last flight home. Very stressful day with little concern from the airline. I'll do everything possible to avoid them in the future."
Cons: "delayed every flight ,lost luggage"
