Me with my knee replacement can’t run and my wheelchair was not in sight. Thank goodness I had a carryon with wheels. I was out of breath when I got to Delta and the last passengers were boarding. I started panicking and interrupted the ground steward who asked me to wait with a smile. I waited . So when I told them I was standby they waved me on after showing my passport. I couldn’t find my boarding pass. I was pleasantly surprised to get a seat in first class. I was so thankful. My first time. Good things come to those who wait! Thank you Delta."

However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. A surprise for us was being asked if we would like to move seats from the back of the aircraft to Comfort Economy (we think it was to do with weight balance! but appreciated very much none the less). The flight attendants were very professional and helpful, as you would hope all attendants on all airlines would be. We'd gladly fly Delta again anytime."

I will never fly America Airlines again due to my incoming flight to Toronto and the out bound to Philadelphia (cancelled on the way to Philly for no apparent reason)."

The tea and coffee were awful!!!!!! The choice of movies,etc was very limited. Thank goodness it was a night flight and not too long!"

Cons: "On March 18, 2018 Joanne, Kevin, and Allison Sheridan were booked to go from SYD to YYJ and only Kevin took off. We went to the airport and my daughter Allison was too anxious to get on as she had to leave her father behind. After she calmed down we went to get on the flight and the lady at the check in, (Onwsha) said it was too late and we could leave the next day. She changed my tickets on the computer and said if we came on Monday, March 19th there wouldn't be a charge but if it was any other date it would be $150.00 per ticket/person. When I arrived to check in on March 19th I was charged the $300. I spoke to Sharon Smith who was with Air Canada Customer Service Coordinator and I explained I was told something different by the customer agent. I told her if I knew that and I was told by Onwsha I would have went on the flight on March 18th but would not have checked the bags and just taken carry on luggage as my husband was still at the airport and he could bring them when he came over. Sharon Smith said there was nothing she could do and we had to pay the $300.00. It really has left a bad taste for me with Air Canada especially how many seats were spare and I was told something different from Onwsha. Thank you for your time. It's a cheap flight and AC warn that the "in seat" screen is no longer provided so criticism on this basis is a bit silly. I noted that the free iPads in Premium Economy provided more films but they were so dated!!! Food in PE was much better as was the general service. It cost quite a bit in the "Auction" but it was worth it I think."
Cons: "This relates to the outward trip when we only found out at the check-in that the plane was postponed to the following day. OK, we were put up in a hotel for the night but 24 hours there was not the best day of my life. I wasn't too impressed with the hotel."
Pros: "The staff and crew were just amazing, I traveled with my 83 yr old mom who's in a wheelchair and the staff was with us from arrival to boarding and once boarded, the air crew was helpful and checking up on her often during the flight. The plane was full load of people so it was really hot but the crew came by often with water refill. A lady besides me was coughing a lot and sure enough the stewardess came by with water and to ask if anything she could do without having been summoned. We rented tablets to see movies and I'm not very technological but the stewardess was very patient with me and took time to help me set up and she showed me how to go about in your application. The flights to and from Las Vegas were perfect and all thanks to the wonderful crew you have, even the pilot was standing at the entrance to greet us when we boarded which was great as I got to see who I was entrusting my life to during this 4h38 min flight, quite reassuring. Anyways, UA, Transat and AA take a back seat to Air Canada any day of the week!"

Cons: "i booked the flight in january and keyed in my passport expiration date several times online in the next several months...at the airport, i handed the air canada agent in miami my passport and she booked me and a checked bag through toronto to copenhagen...i went to board my connecting flight in toronto and was told my passport, which expires at the end of august, was no good as i needed to have 3 month left...so they refused to let me board and told me to go see customer service...so i go stand in line for several hours (was only one agent for the first 45 minutes and 10 people in front of me)...one woman going down the line to see what each person's issue was told me that it was my problem, not AC's...and that "we are only responsible for making sure your passport is valid for getting into canada"...i was on my own to find a hotel and a new flight...fortunately a supervisor saw me standing in a daze several minutes later and said that it was AC's mistake for not catching it in miami...so she booked me into a hotel, gave me the address to the US consulate and instructions on how to get an emergency passport...she said that it would be no problem as "this happens all the time"and went ahead and booked me on the next day's flight...so i was able to spend the next day getting the new passport and getting back to the airport to fly out that night, but i lost a day in copenhagen with my family...it seems to me that when flights are booked and passport info, including expiration date, are given, a simple cross check of dates would be easy, and, imho, incumbent upon the carrier taking you there, especially when "it happens all the time"...this was not done on 4 occasions between booking and my trip...there were other issues too which is why i will never fly air canada again and i will never travel though toronto...the return trip through that airport was a nightmare for many passengers."

Cons: "There was a lack of communication when our gate got changed. The male airport worker at the newly assigned gate (67A) was rude. Everyone was confused if it was the right terminal because the screen didn't match the flight. All he had to do was make an announcement. I didn't mind the actual flight crew, they were fine."

I hope the story’s about a pending bankruptcy are over exaggerated. I look forward to future flights. Speaking with other customers on my flight, I found everyone else to be just as happy."

Also, the food was a bland sandwich. Truly a no-frills flight."
Cons: "The short period of time to connect 1:40; after clearing customs at the Cancún International Airport one has to leave the arrival section of the airport take a shuttle bus to the departures section terminal 4 which took half an hour by the time I got to the departures my flight was already closed and even though they delayed I still ended up missing the flight as they wouldn’t let me on the flight"

Pros: "My daughter traveled as an unaccompanied minor overseas and was taken care of reasonably well. The staff in LAX were not as friendly but then I am just glad that everything was handled for her at such a young age being taken through such a big place. My daughter said she slept very little overnight due to a rude passenger who was talking very loudly and using a phone. But over all she was happy with the in-flight entertainment and I was pleased with the amount of baggage allowed at no extra fee."

The ground staff were superb in dealing with a full plane load of passengers many of whom had onward connections. This meant we had to stay overnight and fly first thing the next morning. Full marks to United for dealing with a potentially dangerous situation and then assisting everyone back in the terminal."

Cons: "On checking in we had to use a machine to print our boarding passes and take our bags to a bag drop in Newark. The man proceeded to put a large tray on the conveyor belt, swing our bags in the air then smash them down into the tray. This was done to both bags as if we weren't there. Had there been something expensive in there it would have been totally destroyed. He really couldn't have cared less about our bags and their contents. We were talking to a woman on the plane who was telling us that a woman a few rows behind who had a new born baby as was told she would be given a seat with extra legroom had this taken away from her to United could sell the seat to someone paying for it. The chicken and orzo dinner was absolutely revolting. The orzo was so over cooked that it just turned to mush and the chicken really didn't taste like it had ever seen a chicken. All this combined with the issues we had on our flight out show that United are scum and just see you as ££. Sorry I cant be more complementary than that, its just the truth."

I was at the back of the plane and there was NO fresh food available once the flight attendants reached the last 6-10 rows. Unacceptable that there is not enough food options for all passengers. By the time I landed in Panama, I had not eaten for 13 hours."
